Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Kungsholmen

Lisa and Martin were great hosts! It's a gorgeous house in a fantastic location. It's removed enough from the city to feel a little calmer but still very convenient and easy to get downtown. The house was very clean when we arrived and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We definitely recommend it!

We stayed in the house for 6 days with my spouse and our child, and we were extremely satisfied with everything. One of the highlights was the stunning sea view — enjoying our morning coffee while looking out at the water was such a peaceful start to the day. The jacuzzi was also a great touch — clean, relaxing, and perfect for unwinding after a long day. The house was very clean and well-equipped with everything we needed. It’s located in a quiet and peaceful area, which made it ideal for spending quality family time. The host was also very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. Overall, it was a wonderful experience that exceeded our expectations in terms of comfort and atmosphere. We would definitely recommend it to anyone, especially families

Wir haben uns bei Elzbieta und Bill sehr wohl gefühlt - die kleine Wohnung war mit allem ausgestattet, was für ein paar Tage nötig war und wir konnten auch einen Sitzplatz im Garten nutzen, was bei den langen Abenden herrlich war. Bill hat uns tolle Tipps für Unternehmungen und die Nutzung der öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln gegeben. Zum Einkaufen mussten wir uns etwas organisieren, da es in fußläufiger Entfernung keinen Laden gibt. Doch die ruhige Lage hat das kompensiert. Gerne ein anderes Mal wieder!

Perfect summer house to escape city life! Highly recommended for those seeking a slow, relaxing lifestyle. The hosts, Jack and Maria, are incredibly warm and welcoming. Their small dog adds even more charm. They were generous and helpful—solving issues like extra mattresses, showing us how to use the sauna, offering fresh vegetables from their garden, and even helping when we had trouble getting back to the cabin. The location is convenient: you can take a bus to Orminge Centrum (with Systembolaget, Willy’s, etc.), and the SL ferry is just 700m away, taking you to Slussen or Vaxholm. The lake is only a 5-minute walk away. Best for people who want to enjoy cabin life and take it slow.🥰 My mistake: I had my family stay here but planned daily trips to Stockholm, which made them tired. Also, with lots of luggage, Bolt rides were costly and hard to book. It’s not that close to the city—either take 3 buses (~1 hr) or walk 700m to the ferry (~1 hr total), with limited schedules.

Wir kamen auf Empfehlung unseres Sohnes in diese schöne Unterkunft und haben uns dort gleich wie zu Hause gefühlt. Der Check in klappte hervorragend und alles war genau beschrieben und mit Fotos erklärt. Das Häuschen ist perfekt und liebevoll eingerichtet- es fehlt an nichts! Wer nach einem Besuch in der City Ruhe, Erholung und Natur sucht, ist hier bestens untergebracht. Wir waren nur mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln unterwegs- das war kein Problem Dank einer sehr guten Verkehrsanbindung. Auch im Garten in Wassernähe kann man es sich richtig gemütlich machen und den tollen Blick genießen. Kajsa und Jesper sind sehr sympathische Gastgeber, mit denen wir einen sehr netten Kontakt hatten. Wenn wir wieder einmal in Stockholm sind , kommen wir gerne wieder in dieses tolle Haus zurück!

A lovely place to stay and very peaceful surroundings. The island of Tranholmen was lovely and Anna & Donna’s place had everything we needed. We had a lovely time in Sweden!

Mein Aufenthalt in Olofs Apartment war wunderbar und erholsam. Die Wohnung ist sehr hübsch hergerichtet, mir gefielen besonders gut die Holzböden, die schlichte Einrichtung und der Ausblick in den begründeten Innenhof. Ausserdem tolle Lage, gut zu erreichen und sehr nette Nachbarschaft.

Katilina's place is ideally located in a quiet yet very accessible area of Sweden's capital. The apartment has a cool vibe with nice design touches and felt really comfortable. We would definitely stay again.

En ren og veldig fin leilighet. Gode senger. Soverom mot stille bakgård. Godt isolert mot trafikk på stuesiden. T-banestasjon ett minutt å gå fra leiligheten med bra forbindelser videre rundt i Stockholm. Perfekt sted for deg som skal oppleve byen. Ligger like ved en trafikkert vei, men den hører du ikke i leiligheten. Og der har du uansett ikke tenkt å sitte når du har en av Europas fineste byer å oppleve. Jeg har vært i Stockholm 30-40 ganger og kommer gjerne tilbake til denne leiligheten.

This place was better than the photos! We loved how clean it was and how it had everything we needed. The view out the living room window is great too! The lift was a lifesaver with our suitcases to get to the 5th floor. Make sure you close the lift door for the next persons use! It’s an 8 minute walk to the metro but great to get around town. We used the go-city pass for all the museums and a 3 day pass for transport on the SL app. It was one of the best airbnbs we’ve stayed at.

loved this place!! I stayed here for a long weekend with a friend and the hosts were super welcoming. welcomed us to the Airbnb and showed us around, answered all questions, and were so sweet. The location is quiet but very accessible to the train line at Alvik, which can get you anywhere in Stockholm easily. Beautiful apartment especially with sun. Female and solo traveler friendly. Would totally recommend!

We had a great stay in Huvudsta. The apartment was very clean, organized, and spacious. Vy, the host, was very responsive and made us feel very welcome. The area is family-friendly with many green areas, walking routes, and the water nearby. Reaching the city center of Stockholm is easy either by subway or by bike. Would definitely recommend!

Dejlig lille lejlighed i roligt kvarter, med busstop tæt på. Mulighed for smuk løbetur rundt langs kystlinjen på naboen Kungsholmen. Indkøbsmulighed i nærheden. Vi kommer gerne igen.

Dali is great! She met me when I arrived to give me the keys and show me the place. She has always been super responsive to any questions I've had. The place is great and is exactly like the pictures. The location is a 3 minute walk to the metro and is very easy to get anywhere. I feel very safe in the building and neighborhood.

Monica is a great host. She was always responsive. The apartment is big and there is a lot of natural light. It's really close to the public transportation system. Overall, it was an excellent experience, and I recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet and clean space.

We had a wonderful stay at Lina's house. It was in a perfect location close to transport in a quiet neighbourhood. We had a small issue with the washing machine on day 1 but Lina was extremely responsive and we had no problems accessing the communal laundry for the rest of our stay. Lina made us feel at home for the 6 nights we stayed and went above and beyond to help make our first visit to Stockholm one to remember. Thanks so much Lina 😀

We had a grand stay in Tobias place. Location is great and being in a cul de sac, nice and quiet. Place is small (toilet is tough if you have long legs!), but a nice place with good fittings. Tobias was very responsive.

Hanna & Anita's place was the perfect, cozy stay for our one week stay in Stockholm. They thought of everything to make the place feel like home, from the extra towels to coffee and tea; towels to sit on in the sauna and a clothes line inside the sauna. Anita went above and beyond during our stay. One example: After a long day of travel, we couldn't wait to relax. When we arrived to the place, it was warm and nicely lit. The sauna quickly warmed us up. If you are looking for a peaceful and comfortable place that is away from the hustle and bustle of the city, but still close by, we recommend Anita and Hanna's place. Lena was a wonderful host! She greeted us at the flat and showed us how everything worked - also gave several recommendations for local coffee ice cream and eating establishments. The flat was an excellent place and just as shown in the AirBnB site. Would love to go back to Stockholm and would certainly stay here again
