OPEN March 20, 2026 Nestled in the mountains of Nara and Yoshino, surrounded by greenery, lies the quiet, one-day, one-group-only traditional Japanese inn, B&B Mori no Akari.(The name means "Light of the Forest") ⚫︎ During your stay, breakfast and dinner handmade by the owner are included (please refer to the photos). ⚫︎ We can also accommodate pescatarian and vegetarian meals. The kitchen area is shared with Hotos.The rest of the space is reserved for your exclusive use, and you can enjoy your time freely, just like when you rent the entire property. A spacious area of approximately 230 m² can accommodate up to 8 people.Ideal for family or group trips.There is also easy access to Yoshinoyama, a famous cherry blossom viewing spot, and Kimpusenji Temple, a World Heritage Site. We have preserved the historic beams and tiled roofs while creating a comfortable environment for your stay.The tranquility of the mountains, the soft light that illuminates the night.Here, you can take a break from your daily routine. Due to the abundant natural environment, we recommend that you come by car. (If you wish, we can arrange transportation to and from the nearest train station.) Escape the hustle and bustle of the city and enjoy a relaxing stay.

The guesthouse where the green water boils from Mt. Yoshino creates a high waterfall and pours it into the elephant creek. Manyo singers and travelers are also nostalgic and nostalgic. Enjoy a day of relaxing in nature and life since ancient times. Dinner and breakfast are not provided. Feel free to use the kitchen, cooking utensils, refrigerator, etc. and cook and bring your own. * You'll also need to bring condiments. One room is 1,000 yen. It can be used by 2 people. It's non for one person only. Extra person ¥5,000 (However, it is 2,000 yen for elementary and middle, and preschool children are free). This converted farmhouse is located in Kawakami Village, the source of the Yoshino/Kino river. The house sits just above an idyllic swimming spot, perfect for families to enjoy the cool, clear waters Guests will have the full property to themselves, which includes a handmade cedar bathtub with views across the river. There is also outdoor space to enjoy barbecuing under the stars.

This guesthouse is located on the grounds of the former Hirohashi Elementary School.The building, formerly a teacher's residence, was renovated into a guesthouse. The bath is a traditional Japanese wood-fired bath. You can experience heating water with firewood. ■The house can accommodate up to 10 people. ■No meals are included.There is no supermarket within walking distance. "A Co-op" 15 minutes by car. "Life" and "Okuwa" 20 minutes by car. ■It's cold until around March.Please be warm.

「万葉の人々が愛した景勝の地」 世界遺産であり、「日本一の桜の名所」とも言われる有効明媚な万葉の里、吉野にある小さな集落・宮滝。この宮滝にはかつて「吉野宮」という天皇の離宮があり、「壬申の乱」が起こった歴史深い場所でもあります。万葉集にはこの宮滝の景勝を称えた歌がたくさん収められています。 そして清流・吉野川が流れるこの地は関西圏屈指の川遊びスポットとして知られており、夏休み期間はたくさんの川遊び客で賑わいます。 その宮滝で番傘・提灯の職人として祖父母が長年暮らしてきた築100年の古民家を改装し、「ちょうちんの宿」として復活させることにしました。 「遊べる川まですぐ」という立地を活かした、複数の世帯や友人同士など多人数でも使いやすい宿です。 歴史や自然の息吹を感じながら吉野観光・川遊びやBBQの拠点として使って頂ければ幸いです。 中庭にはプライベートサウナと水風呂（タライ）を設置。サウナ好きの皆様も是非、皆様でお越しください。

Our house is traditional Japanese style house. 150 years old and in a very quiet location. We are renting house. Not shared with other guests. There are 2 bedrooms(Tatami-room) and 1 living room, gameroom, bathroom, shower toilet, all of the room are only for you. *Children is free of charge if your children don't need a bed and break fast. There are air conditioners in bedroom and livingroom.
