There are no buildings within sight, and you can enjoy the sound of the river, the chirping of birds, and a sense of oneness with nature. The tap water is also spring water (it has been tested and is safe to drink). Depending on the season, there are sometimes people who go up and down the river next to the inn to play in the river or head to Kappa Falls (150 m from the inn). If the weather is good, you can also enjoy a BBQ or a campfire (depending on the season and weather, we may ask you to refrain) with the ingredients you bring. (Please be careful when handling fire.) We renovated a vacant house in the Okiha shopping district where Kitahara Hakushu's family home is located, and created a single-family home where you can try out moving from accommodation to living (trial living). The house has been renovated with plenty of natural wood to make it comfortable. The furniture is made with the full cooperation of Hiromatsu Moku, and you can experience lovely furniture. It is both an inn and a home where you can live as if you were blending into the city while retaining the nostalgic atmosphere of a Showa-era house. In the Japanese-style room, we have a Tanabata decoration for the summer only. Guests can write their wishes on a strip of paper and display them.
