We had a lovely stay at Mala - it was a perfect spot to relax and reenergize after climbing Kilimanjaro. The photos almost don't do it justice - the space is gorgeous: from the dining area to the pool and the beach beyond, it's a little slice of paradise. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable but still match the island vibe, and we loved making use of the beach bar. It's a great spot if you fancy a few days of total rest and relaxation! Staff were friendly and very sweet.

Had a lovely stay. Everyone including staff and front desk were very friendly and always checking up on me to make sure I was okay. Food was very tasty, and drinks were delicious. Lots to do in the area about 30 - hour drive , if you request a driver or tour guide.. excluding safaris and going into different towns. Can’t wait to visit again !

Die Unterkunft und das gesamte Anwesen hat uns super gut gefallen! Im afrikanischen Stil. Das Personal war äußerst freundlich und zuvorkommend. Frühstück war sehr reichhaltig und abwechslungsreich. Da der Ort eher abgelegen ist, empfiehlt es sich ein eigenes Auto oder moped zu haben. Ein perfekter Platz zum Entspannen und die Ruhe genießen!

Wer Ruhe sucht ist hier genau richtig. dennoch bekommt man alles was man braucht einfach das Personal fragen. ganze Team ist super nett es ist sehr familiär und man kann einfach die Seele baumeln lassen. war alles super !! und das Essen schmeckt auch sehr gut

Een oase van rust, schitterende uitzichten, vriendelijk personeel en een prettige kamer. We hadden ons geen prettiger verblijf kunnen wensen. Afya Village ligt op een vrij afgelegen plek en de weg vanaf Stone Town is ver en soms beetje onduidelijk, maar het dubbel en dwars waard. Op de punt van de zuidelijke monding van de Chwaka Bay bevind deze plek zich aan een prachtig strand, waar met vloed de golven tegen de klif slaan en met eb er een rotsachtig strand van zo’n 100 meter tot aan de zee ontstaat. Er is ontzettend veel wild leven te zien en in de drie dagen die mijn vriendin en ik hier besteed hebben, hebben we onder andere vliegende vissen, zee-egels en talloze krabben gezien. Wij hadden de Baru Baru kamer gehuurd en het was een simpele kamer met groot bed en aansluitende badkamer. Buiten het hoogseizoen om gebruiken ze zonne-energie en heb je geen warm water. Al met al heerlijk eten, lekkere bedden, personeel dat zo ongeveer 24/7 voor je klaar staat en prachtige uitzichten!

Amazing place for a holiday! A little piece of paradise in Zanzibar. Staff were top class and very helpful and full of information. Special mention to Benny, Milker and Glory. Would 100% recommend this boutique hotel to anyone.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans le bungalow. Barbara nous a très bien accueillis et était à nos petits soins tout au long de notre séjour. Nous nous sommes sentis comme à la maison, l’endroit est paisible et la piscine très agréable. La plage se trouve à quelques minutes à pieds et l’emplacement est idéal pour rayonner dans toute l’île ! Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir !

كانت اقامتي لدى Arjan رائعة وجميلة وكان مضيف يحرص على راحة مضيفيه ..شخص رائع بما تعنيه الكلمة يبذل قصارى جهده ان نكون مرتاحين حتى انه دعونا الى عشاء في آخر ليلة قضيناها في زنجبار شكرًا Arjan لاخلاقك العظيمة وسخاء كرمك ..الكهرباء مشكلة في كل زنجبار وهي بلد جميلة

Wir haben das Häuschen bei Fabbro für zwei Wochen gemietet und sind super glücklich hier. Es ist sehr ruhig in einem wunderschönen Garten gelegen. Der wunderschöne Strand von Jambiani ist nur drei Minuten zu Fuß entfernt. Ebenso mehrere gute Restaurants und Lebensmittelläden. Das Haus ist geräumig und gemütlich und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Wir verbringen ganze Tage auf der großen Terrasse. Alles ist blitzsauber, Fabbro und sein Team kümmern sich sehr liebevoll um alles! Wir können die Octopus Garden Eco Lodge wirklich sehr empfehlen! Vielen Dank, lieber Fabbro, für unseren wunderbaren Aufenthalt in deiner schönen Lodge! Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

We had the most fabulous two-week stay at Octopus Garden. Fabrizio and his amazing team were so kind, welcoming, and always available with great local tips and recommendations. The property is set in a beautiful, quiet tropical garden, and we loved how peaceful and secure it felt. It’s just a short walk to the beach, and the accommodation was well-equipped for cooking and washing, which made everything super convenient. Everything about our stay was wonderful – we truly didn’t want to leave. We’re already dreaming of coming back!

We have just had two blissful weeks at Baobab Bungalows and are really pleased we chose this place. It is newly built but has wonderful well-established beautiful plant life around the grounds and three old baobabs at the entrance. The pool is well designed and always clean. There is a shallow ledge where we lay in the water, gazed at the night sky and saw a shooting star! The bungalow is well built, comfortable and beautiful inside. There’s two ceiling fans and air con inside and another ceiling fan in the outdoor space. The main host, Arjan designed everything with good attention to detail and aesthetics. He is immensely warm, friendly and helpful. Co-host, Donna has also been really lovely, attentive, responsive and helpful. We’ve felt very well looked after. There has been some issues with power outages on the island so they have bought a generator for constant electricity. Having explored the island quite a bit, I’d say the property is in a very good location. Go on, book it!
