Holiday rentals with a fireplace in La Cala de Mijas

It was literally living in a place close to heaven. It’s not only furnished with so much love, but also the attention to detail made it much more special. We were in awe upon our arrival, and found it hard to leave. We would like to recommend it to everyone, but it is so special, that we just might keep this as our best kept secret! From the moment we booked, our hosts went above and beyond to ensure our stay was flawless. They offered excellent recommendations, answered our questions with warmth and patience, and made us feel genuinely welcome. Everything is within walking distance. The way the villa is situated allows you to wake up to the gentle embrace of sunlight streaming through the windows, and ending the day with golden sunsets was pure magic. It is absolutely breathtaking. The thoughtfulness throughout made it easy to settle in and feel completely at ease, as if we were staying with dear friends. A stay so extraordinary, you’ll cherish every moment and never want to leave.

We stayed here for a week and were delighted with the villa, pictures don’t do it justice, such a beautiful place , it had everything we needed , Alison was brilliant , so helpful we had a very small issue that was resolved literally within minutes , would definitely stay here again … thank you for such a great week

This villa is absolutely fantastic, Geert was very attentive in the build up to our stay and once we were there Sonia could not do enough for us from local recommendations for bars and restaurants to answering any questions we had! We will definitely be looking to stay again and have already recommended the place to all of our friends and family!

7 of us stayed here for 3 nights and honestly had such an amazing time. We had lots planned so didn’t spend an excessive amount of time in the villa but the time we did was just brilliant - the pool / outdoor areas were just magic! Will be back :)

A superb villa, very spacious and clean. Just a note that it is at the top of a small mountain but wow when you get to the top the views are truly spectacular. A great spot for exploring the area and Ubers are easy to get for trips into Malaga, would highly recommend.

I would just like to say this place is amazing and juan is an amazing guy. He let us stay because we had a late flight and never asked us for a pen anymore. This has got to be by far the best place. I've stayed there on all my trips around Europe staying at Airbnb's. juan was so helpful given us a device where to eat where to go for Days out his place was so clean fresh and just felt like Home I will be definitely coming back to stay here and I would strongly recommend anyone who's thinking in the coming to this part of Spain to stay at this place my wife and kids after 10 days, don't want to go home all I would like to say to juan yes thank you so much and I loved staying at your place. Juliette is as rare as a perfect host! Sweet, welcoming and very flexible in relation to special requests. We were allowed to put food in the fridge before we checked in and were in direct contact with her cleaning staff, who were very service-minded and open to our wishes. The house was really cozy and well furnished, the kitchen was equipped simply, but with the things you need. A lot of effort had been made to make the rooms and bathrooms look clean and tidy. For example, flowers were placed in the bathrooms. All this made our stay perfect and went smoothly, for the benefit of our customers and our business. Thank you so much for that, Juliette! We were lucky enough to spend 4 weeks in Cordula's cozy and practically furnished apartment. Except for the weather, everything was absolutely perfect and we give a 100% recommendation. The warming air conditioning and electric fireplace goods are very helpful in this unusually cold and rainy time.

My wife and I just spent an amazing 15 days at Casa Folimanka. When we arrived tired from an overnight flight, Javier was at the front gate to meet us. He and Lorraine gave us a comprehensive tour of the features of the property. The interior has beautiful floors, flawless tile-work, modern appliances and two sizeable bathrooms each equipped with double vanities and stunning showers along with two fully-equipped bedrooms. The exterior has a spacious yard, great views of the sea and various spaces to lounge, eat and soak up the sun. The property is also very well secured with plentiful activities close by in all directions. The Casa has everything that you could ever need for your holiday, yet it does not feel at all cluttered. The support that we received from Lubomir and team was first rate with quick responses when we couldn’t find things and excellent recommendations for local dining and activities. They really made us feel welcome and special during our stay. 5 stars all around!

Ignacio warmly welcomed me in front of the accommodation. He showed me everything that is worth knowing. He was available at all times and earlier check-in/later check-out was no problem after consultation. The place is as described in the pictures. I felt very comfortable and safe. The apartment is modern and everything is new. The bed is super comfy. I will miss it. The kitchen is well equipped and a bottle of water is also waiting for you on site. The pool and loungers are clean and well maintained. The beach is of course also just outside the door. Supermarkets are very easy to reach on foot. It is a bit noisy because it is directly on the street, but with the window closed and air conditioning, no problem at all. I enjoyed it very much and would book the accommodation again at any time. This is a great apartment in close proximity to many cafes, restaurants, bars, and main attractions. It is clean, spacious, bright and airy. Air conditioning keeps the entire apartment very cool. Lots of towels and beach towels there. Beds are very comfy. No noise at night. Juan left recommendations for many places which was very useful. He responds to questions very quickly and is very helpful and nice. The parking spot was very convenient as we rented a car for a night to go down to coast. We also rented electric bikes overnight which is a great way to get around and could lock them up safely in the garage. For our older teens going out at night it was perfect as it is only approximately a 10 minute walk to get home and it feels very safe. I would highly recommend this place.

The apartment was exactly as described in the pictures. Very stylish and at the same time cozy. Everything you need is there. A special highlight are the two terraces & the fantastic view into the distance. The complex is super clean, well-maintained & quiet. So if you are looking for peace and relaxation, you have come to the right place 👍🏻 Zana was super accessible at all times & was able to help directly with all concerns. The only drawback was that the air conditioning was broken & it was therefore very warm in the apartment. Conclusion: We had a wonderful time & will definitely come back. 😊

Marina was very helpful with details of how to find apartment and where to park and responded very quickly. Apartment was very spacious especially for two people. Good views from the balcony and pool was great. Direct access to the boardwalk was a big plus.

This was our 2nd visit as we loved the villa the first time. Andrew & Karolina are so helpful and always available. Everything was spotless and we felt right at home. Helena who does check in is not only flexible, we asked her to do a little shop for us as we were arriving late. You couldn’t ask for a nicer villa and more fantastic hosts. We will definitely go again.

William’s property was absolutely splendid for all our family The property was very spacious and had everything we needed for a perfect holiday — a well-equipped kitchen, toys for the children, and a generously sized pool suitable for both adults and kids. It’s definitely one of our top ten stays on Airbnb. It truly felt like a home away from home.

This is our second time staying in one of Carlos’ villas and it will definitely not be our last. The villa is incredible. We were a group of 12 and there was plenty of room for everyone. All bathrooms were ensuite and the rooms were all great sizes. The house is incredibly well stocked anything at all that you could think of needing it’s there. Carlos is so easy to communicate with and provides great local recommendations. Would not hesitate to recommend this villa to anyone.

A beautiful home to stay in, we loved every minute. Nathalie was so communicative pre arrival and Norbert was fantastic on arrival. Stunning and peaceful location with sea and mountain view’s but with such easy access to all surrounding areas. We hadn’t realised a cot and high chair would be provided so that was a lovely surprise on arrival for our little one. Our one and only negative would be the pool, we were there in October but the pool wasn’t heated and therefore was very cold. The pool is also salt water so it wasn’t as clean as maybe one would’ve hoped for. All in all, a stunning place to stay and the games room with pool table, table tennis, table football and darts was fantastic. We will be looking to return next year because it is such a lovely home and its location is just gorgeous! Thank you Nathalie and Norbert for a lovely stay.

Beautiful villa with beautiful environments and views of the Mediterranean Sea and the hinterland, very pleasant flower gardens. The villa is very comfortable, including bedding, and very well equipped, especially if you are traveling with children or a baby. José was very welcoming, and very available if needed. Flexible checkout and return for us, which was a real plus compared to our flights. Very beautiful area to discover. Recommended!

We had an amazing time, stunning property, fabulous pool. The kitchen has everything you need, plenty of outside space. Secluded garden with a view of the sea in the distance, shops and towns anywhere from 10 -20 minutes away by car. We came to relax and unwind and it was the perfect place for family time. The host Dirk is excellent, helpful, immediate response to any question. The house has everything you need and more. We didn’t want to leave.
