The kitchen is equipped to cook your own simple meals (but not oven/microwave). The apartment is basic and minimalist, but it’s also very comfortable and has everything you need for a enjoyable and simple stay. The apartment has views to the valley, a private terrace with amazing views and an independent entrance. You can also use the common areas and the big garden. Please be aware that the apartments do not have washing machine, TV or microwave/oven. If you can’t live without those, this may not be the perfect place for your stay. Phone signal and wifi work perfectly and are quite reliable. Casa del río is the perfect way to scape the noise and experience first-hand living a simple and sustainable life in an Asturias village off the beaten track. The property is ideal for people who want to be away from the noise and crowds, as it is quite isolated and the village of Xio has no services at all. Closest services are a bar/restaurant/swimming pool 10min by car, and shops, supermarket, restaurants, pharmacy, petrol station, etc…20min by car.

We have 3 apartments of 4 seats each in the capital of the Franco's council in Asturias. The village has all the services and is very well located to get to know the entire West of Asturias and the Mariña de Lugo. We have a garden , covered porch and barbecue with tables and benches for guest use. There is reception service and storage of suitcases and furnishings. The apartment is cleaned except for the kitchen and utensils and change of linens during the stay.
