"Villa Casabel" quiet and spacious with pool

Thibault's home was a heavenly retreat in the heart of Provence!!! I travelled with my adult children and the house offered space and privacy for our travel party- we felt immediately at home. The grounds are stunning- the garden, pool, birds, tree canopy and creek make you feel as though you are a million miles away from your worries but the house is a modern beauty with every comfort and convenience one could want. My husband and I enjoyed daily walks to La Garde Freinet for delicious baking from the patisserie and the restaurants in the village are phenomenal. We all enjoyed the pool and ping-pong table too :). There is no AC, but the house was very comfortable on warm/hot days due to well placed windows and sliding doors that create great ventilation. Would go back in a heartbeat!

The house and the garden look in reality even better than on the photos in the listing. There’s everything you could possibly need and more (a special mention for a splendid and immensely practical Lacanche range cooker!). The location is ideal, with about 30 min drive to the beaches and 10 min to the nearest Natural Park - the beautiful Plain des Maures. Obviously, you’ll need a car but there’s ample parking space right next to the house. We would be delighted to come again and we wish Susanne all possible success with her property.

Lovely cottage, heated pool, large grounds

We stayed here for one week with two young boys on our first week in South France and was a perfect peaceful first stop. Jane and Alban were extremely helpful and accommodating and the little house felt very private. The pool is beautiful and very popular with our sons. The local village is stunning and has most of what you'd need. Local beaches only 25 mins away and beautiful drive. I'd highly recommend and would stay again.

Thank you for a wonderful stay in the corner of paradise which you have crafted in your gorgeous valley in the beautiful Massif des Maures. From the homemade lemonade to the little toy you gave our daughter, you thought of everything. The house is perfectly done with every convenience and in such a relaxed yet elegant style, and you were the perfect hosts, giving us space to relax but there whenever we needed you. We will treasure our memories of our daughter at 12 months here on the garden swing, stroking the cat and taking one of her first unaided steps in the garden. We hope to come back again and make new memories with her when she is old enough to recall them herself.

very pleasant stay at Alexis's, small terrace but perfect for 2 people, but too sunny at noon to have lunch there without a parasol. Very good advice from Alexis on beautiful sites to see. The only drawback is the difficulty of finding a parking space in the village.
