Holiday rentals with beach access in La Gaulette

Very nice apartment, just like in the photos in beautiful and quiet residential complex. Great and clean pool that you like to use overlooking the Black River. Kitchen well equipped. Great location for excursions in the area. Overall, the place is highly recommended.

We really enjoyed our week-long stay at Anne and Dominique's place. They are very available and responsive hosts and they gave us the best recommendations for activities and restaurants nearby. They are warm and love to receive visitors. The accommodation offered a superb view of Tamarin Bay and we saw incredible sunsets. The accommodation has everything you need to have a good time (reception, barbecue, swimming pool, proximity to excursions, etc.). We would definitely recommend! Sincerely, Thibault and Céline

what am Incredible place! I read the other comments with some cynicism but can truly say it's exactly as described. Big, wonderful, open space for your own, right across the road from the beach right outside a bus stop. Such friendly hosts and the little touches: chocolates, water, etc really a wonderful stay. Stayed here during our holiday to Mauritius, we wanted a night on the west coast for the sunset and you can see that without leaving the balcony. Ms Sheela showed us around and explained everything. Lots of lovely little homely touches like beer in the fridge and soft drinks, toiletries, and even binoculars even to try and spot whales/ dolphins. Patio is huge plenty of space , hosts replied to messages promptly and always answered any questions. Ms sheela and pothano were very accommodating and adaptable to any amendments throughout. We would 100% recommend and happily stay here for a full holiday.

Stéphanie and her team were incredible, very responsive and even helping to set up a surprise birthday welcome for my husband on our arrival. Blue Bay is a dream and this house only adds to it - luxe, easy, and with the lagoon right out your door. Very well set up for kids and families with lots of nice touches. Only drawback is that you're right in the flight path of the airport, which scared our toddler until he got used to it - but luckily the flights don't really go at night so you're not disturbed. Would definitely recommend and hope to return!

We stayed 5 days and 4 nights at the Dilmed residence. Pleasantly surprised by the walking distance to the center of Flic en Flac and the shops around. The photos of the listing are identical to reality and the apartment is ideal for a couple. The essentials are present in the accommodation and a small + a plate of fruit and juice are offered upon arrival. Martine and Sabrina are easily accessible and on site every day if needed. Housekeeping is done 1/2 times a week, and sheets and towels are also changed. The host Ziaad is also available by phone, I recommend +++ and I assure you that for the location the price is relatively affordable. If needed, a taxi from the airport to the residence and back. Feel free to ask Ziaad, he will advise you and book it for you at an affordable price, much cheaper than taxis to the airport. You can say it's actually a vacation. Thank you

Located in a cute fisher village along a scenic road. Very spacious and comfortable beds. Any groceries, cash withdrawals need to be done before (La Gaulette). Highlight is the terrasse and hope to come back soon for a longer stay.

We enjoyed our time here. The apartment was lovely. We did have a problem with the internet, but it was entirely outside of the host's control and he was very helpful trying to rectify the problem and did actually reduce our rent when the problem couldn't be fixed. He honestly couldn't have done more. The apartment was very comfortable with everything we needed from dishwasher to washing machine and a wonderful shower.

It was a tropical paradise, felt like home from home. You wake up hearing the ocean, incredible spot for sunset and has everything you need and more. Definitely will be staying here again, would highly recommend.

Would recommend staying at Dan’s place. We had a great visit. The apartment is conveniently located ~5 min walk to beach and “downtown” Flic en Flac. Apartment is comfortable and has the amenities you need. Best of all is Dan! He’s a great AirBnb host. He and his mother could not have been more welcoming and friendly. Thank you for everything!

We cant recommended this place enough, it was perfect for the 3 of us. The place was super clean and well maintained. Barendar is a great host. Everything from the linen to the toiletries were all stocked up. She even had a small medical kit, which in our case was super helpful since my son had a minor cut while snorkelling . If you’re a small family and looking for a place to stay this would be perfect. A peaceful neighbourhood and very conveniently located.

My family and I had a fantastic two-night stay at Zaheer’s place, and it was worth every penny! Zaheer is an incredibly friendly and accommodating host, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The location is perfect—steps away from an almost private beach, with tons of restaurants nearby and exciting spots like Rochester Falls to explore. The outdoor jacuzzi was a delightful bonus, perfect for unwinding after busy days filled with activities. The house itself is comfortable, ideal for relaxing after hours spent outdoors. With so much to do in the area, we couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Highly recommend!

Even before arriving in Mauritius, Caroline was very available. We immediately felt his kindness, his gentleness to our children and his hospitality. A pleasure to have had the opportunity to discover his accommodation as well as his cooking skills since we were able to taste a local dish made by him. Everything is planned for a great stay. We would definitely recommend this place. A BIG thank you again!! We do not plan to return to Mauritius in the months/years that arrive however we keep the address precious, we never know!!

I spent three weeks living in this house, it felt like home. Almost every day I snorkled in the ocean and swam in the pool, right from the back garden. I used used the BBQ many times, it is very nice. The house is on a busy road, and goats and chickens live across the street, but after a few days that just melted into the tapastry of Mauritius. The cleaner, Jessica, is a hard worker and does an excellent job. There was a gardener and a pool cleaner that came every week, keeping both looking nice. You really need a rental car, or a scooter, for your stay - I used Storm Scooter Rentals from the local area. Overall I could not give this place a higher rating, it was excellent.

Ambroise is a great host.... very responsive and detailed from Day 1. The property was clean and well maintained. The two turtles at his place are fun to watch and Ambroise was kind enough to lend his private Kayaks to us. It was a fun experience exploring the reef on the Kayak. Thanks for having us Ambroise!

Thank you for the lovely stay Sheel! We felt at home and appreciated the attention towards details found throughout your apartment. The kitchen was well equipped for our extended stay. The building was well maintained, had friendly staff and felt very safe with the security team. Having a pool was a wonderful bonus after an excursion day! We’ll miss our daily breakfast on the balcony enjoying the views! We recommend this great stay :)

We had an absolutely wonderful 4-night stay at this property in Flic en Flac! The host(Tawhida) was fantastic — warm, welcoming, and personally came to meet us during check-in. She gave us a clear walkthrough of the house, which really helped us settle in quickly. The location is ideal, just a 10-minute walk to the beautiful Flic en Flac public beach. Perfect for morning strolls or catching the sunset! The property itself was spotless, well-maintained, and felt like home. We especially appreciated the dedicated covered parking space, which made things very convenient as we had a rental car. Check-out was also smooth and hassle-free. Overall, it was a great experience from start to finish. Would highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful and well-located stay in Flic en Flac. 🌴🌊

Great apartment with its own grounds and parking. Simple but helpful equipment was available. The host was always trying to make sure we had everything we needed. Kitchen, washing machine were also very helpful. We had a great time and would definitely recommend the accommodation.

Great apartment right on the beach. Wonderful view of the sea from the terrace. Totally quiet location. You only hear the sea and birds chirping. You can take fantastic walks on the beach. The apartment has lots of space. Kitchen and bathroom were without blemish. It was all there what we needed. Roumila responded to our requests at any time. Absolutely recommended place if you are looking for piece and tranquility. Nearby is not as much as other places on the island, but it was exactly what we were looking for. The place totally exceeded our expectations, infinity pool was just incredible, we ended up using it every evening while watching the sunset. The flat was really high quality, every little detail was thought through. Also kitchen had everything you could possibly need, like really everything. Martine was lovely and always quick to help if anything came up, and the staff were so friendly and polite. Also what surprised us a lot was that they cleaned the flat every day which we never seen in Airbnbs. Great value for money, would 100% come back.
