There is a supermarket in Charco and several good island-typical restaurants in Mala and Arrieta, where there is also a long, flat sandy beach, suitable for children and surfers. A protected swimming area (200 m) made of natural lava rock allows swimming at high tide all year round. A rock (500 m) with a step ladder is the perfect access to the sea for swimmers and divers.
