Remarkable place! You feel right at home from the moment you arrive. Extremely comfortable beds. And what about the view. Stunning! I recommend it and will not hesitate to spread the word.

We had a great time at the trapper's cottage. Although we were afraid of being cold when we arrived at the accommodation, we contacted Genessee upon arrival who was very responsive and came to help us turn on the wood burning stove. The space heated very quickly and throughout the stay the indoor temperature was warm even without the wood burner being turned on. Great environment with walks in the estate and up to the reserve where you can see deer. The cottage may seem small from the outside when you arrive, but in reality it is very spacious and large in depth. There were 8 of us and we had plenty of space. Change of scenery and tranquility assured. We would definitely recommend Genessee's homes, which is very friendly, warm and caring.

Our stay was perfect despite the temperature but we were there to celebrate a wedding at La Chapelle de la Grève. The place was perfect because being the Head of the event, I had the perfect cottage to cook and host. We'll be back

There are places where you instantly feel good when you arrive. This house, its view and its garden are part of it. A peaceful and relaxing place where it is good to do nothing, whether the weather is nice or it is raining. This house has a rare character and we would like to never leave, extend the stay, let the gaze wander through the waves of the St. Lawrence. My parents, my girlfriend and I greatly enjoyed this long weekend, nothing is missing in this house, and especially not this incredible view of the river from almost all the rooms. Thank you for sharing such a place! I hope we can come back and I will cherish the memories created these last few days for a long time! The belugas greeted us on our departure to our great delight.

We enjoyed our stay at the cottage very much. The lake is really very close and the furnished terrace allows you to enjoy it. The bedding is of very good quality. Perfect for resting and enjoying the surroundings. Thank you very much!

Beautiful recent and comfortable little house in the village of Saint-Louis, on the edge of the river; we had a great stay: everything was very clean, the kitchen area well organized. Several possible steps from the house; on the other hand, to reach the shops, it is necessary to take the car. We hope to come back!

A little gem! We rented this apartment for a kayaking class on the beach just opposite, ideal location for small holidays e.g. with family. Hyper clean, well-equipped, comfortable and well-decorated :)

I don’t know how to convey our delight and satisfaction with Bernard and Francine as our hosts. They met us at check in and spent a great deal of time going over everything and recommending sights, experiences and eating establishments. The Chalets de la Coline are ideally located to enjoy Baie Sainte Catherine and the activities of the Marin de Saguenay Park, including the famous excursions to admire the whales that we were lucky enough to meet... Sylvain is really welcoming and will give you all the information you need to have a great stay. The accommodation is optimized for 2 people. Practical mosquito nets protected us from mosquitoes... There are also parking spaces available for cars and even charging stations for electric vehicles. Everything was perfect during our stay.

The accommodation had everything you need and the kitchen was very well equipped. Very idyllic place to linger and enjoy the peace.

Exceptional stay in winter in this very comfortable and warm cottage. The view of the Saint Lawrence is crazy and changes every day. Access may seem complicated but ultimately there is no problem and if the ice threatened to prevent us from passing our host immediately ordered a snow plow. Recommended for the geographic location! Diane went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and welcoming. The location was right on the water although due to weather we were restricted from accessing it. The island was quiet but that was what we expected and wanted. Bed was extremely comfortable. Shower was great with good water pressure. We'd love to come back and will stay with Diane again!

Loved our stay. The place is small, but with everything you need to be well, an enclosed room and a king bed! The river view is spectacular, the kitchen is small but better equipped than a lot of cooking on Airbnb. We recommend it 100% and will definitely be back!

Absolutely loved my stay here, everything was amazing from the room to the view to Genevieve's friendliness. before I booked i made sure that it was okay that I could only speak english and she reassured me that it was perfectly fine. when I got there she was super friendly and speaking to me in English even though she didn't have to. I would definitely stay here again.

hello, here's a quick summary of our horse island getaway. We were 8 people (4 couples). the island is a bewitching, refreshing and out of the ordinary place. Our dorm was so well decorated that our eyes were dazzled by such beautiful little touches of decoration made from recycled materials. Everything was sublime and tasteful. What to say about the comfort of the beds, the blankets and pillows, they are worthy of a large hotel. I have so slept well with clean air and the river wind - calm and fullness in the singular. the kitchen is located in the barn. the latter is pristine with a huge chandelier and all the necessary tools to cook! a refreshing stay, we were all dazzled by our hosts and all the amenities that were our litter. each one found his little haven of peace to rest. I recommend this place without hesitation. I plan to come back!

Perfect cottage for family with dogs... The best part was sleeping to the sound of the waves and watching the kites and windsurfers on the water. A real show. The location of the chalet is also to be considered, not far from Midinette and several attractions. Well-equipped kitchen, equipment and accessories in good quantity for everyone!

What a beautiful house and location! The house was spacious, gorgeous decorations and the kitchen was well equipped. Nothing beats the location- right on the beach perfect for morning coffee and throwing rocks in the river with the kids.
