The kitchen is fully equipped to cook your own meals. The apartment is basic and minimalist, but it’s also very comfortable and has everything you need for a enjoyable stay. The apartment has views to the valley, a private terrace with amazing views and an independent entrance. You can also use the common areas and the big garden. Please be aware that the apartments do not have washing machine, TV or microwave/oven. If you can’t live without those, this may not be the perfect place for your stay. Phone signal and wifi work perfectly and are quite reliable. Casa del río is the perfect way to scape the noise and experience first-hand living a simple and sustainable life in an Asturias village off the beaten track. The property is ideal for people who want to be away from the noise and crowds, as it is quite isolated and the village of Xio has no services at all. Closest services are a bar/restaurant/swimming pool 10min by car, and shops, supermarket, restaurants, pharmacy, petrol station, etc…20min by car.

As veneiras our house, in the village of Neipín, A Pontenova, stunning views of the Eo valley, in the Oscos-Eo Biosphere Reserve and Lands of Búron, between Asturias and Galicia, the Eo estuary separates them, very close to the Playa las Catedrales and Lugo. A Pontenova with a great history, architectural richness where iron predominated, hence its visitable mine and zip line. Molino de Nicolao

This fabulous watermill stood empty and abandoned until it was recently fully restored and converted into a beautiful, comfortable home. Enjoy listening to the quiet rustling of the river while you drift off to sleep. The house sits on over a hectare of land and is extremely private, yet it has the convenience of being only a 2 minute drive to the local restaurant and a 5 minute drive the beaches and to the nearest village where you can find everything you need.
