My house is located in Saguenay, in the district of La Baie. The place is ideally centered for those who want to visit the region. By car, it will take you 20 minutes to Chicoutimi, 50 minutes to get to the beaches of Lac-St-Jean and 30 minutes to the Saguenay National Park. A bus stop is located a 2-minute walk away. The cycle path as well as the banks for hiking on the shore at low tide are accessible on foot from the house. Convenience stores, grocery stores and pharmacies are less than 5 minutes away.

Located on the edge of the La Baie borough, our rustic and comfortable solid wood accommodations are only accessible on foot from the site's reception. Our accommodations are located at a minimum distance of 50 m from each other, to ensure privacy and tranquility. A wide variety of outdoor activities nearby.

Refuge in the forest / La Bécassine

La Bécassine is a small wooden mini-house. Heated by a wood-burning stove, equipped for a stay in the forest. Running water (summer), drinking water container (winter), no electricity, lantern and candle light, butane stove for cooking, basic dishes and saucepan, bedding, double bed in the mezzanine, dry toilet outside. La Bécassine is a 5-7 minute walk to the parking lot. Beautiful brightness, nice view surrounded by trees. Quiet and stargazing.

Le Refuge was born from a family project, from our desire to share with you a splendid place that saw us grow up and that is filled with beautiful memories. You will have access to the lake through the family estate grounds. A dock and a small beach for swimming as well as various water sports will be available to you. In winter, direct access to the lake by snowmobile, snowshoeing and hiking trails.
