Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Lackawanna County

We stayed at Yelena's place last year and the entire family was thrilled. There was never any question that we all wanted to return again this year. Participants ranged in age from 10-82 years old. Everyone found many things to do. Fishing, ping pong and boating were definite highlights. The house was perfect for large groups with very flexible accommodations. The kitchen and rest of the house was well stocked with many unexpected extras provided. Immaculate premises and a wonderful host! Could not ask for more! :)

We had a wonderful stay at Patrick’s home! I stayed with my family, including six small children, and the house was perfectly accommodating for all of us. One of the highlights was the closet stocked with board games and toys—it kept the kids entertained and made us feel right at home. The only downside, which doesn’t reflect on the host at all, was that we weren’t aware it was the "off season" in the community. I purchased a weekly pass for the amenities, but unfortunately, many were closed during our stay. I wish the community staff had provided clearer communication about that, but again, this had nothing to do with Patrick or the quality of the home. Overall, I highly recommend Patrick’s place and hope to return during peak season to enjoy everything the community has to offer!

From booking our stay at the Cozy Cabin to check out, Katharine was a helpful and friendly host. Even when our plans changed unexpectedly, she was flexible and understanding. The house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Walking distance to the pool and clubhouse, it was the perfect location for a long weekend getaway. We had a great stay and can’t wait to book again next summer!

We had a fantastic stay! The place was exactly as pictured—beautifully remodeled, in excellent condition, and incredibly cozy. It had everything we needed to feel right at home, including all the essential amenities. Wendy was an outstanding host from beginning to end—responsive, proactive, and thoughtful, always one step ahead in anticipating our needs. The canoes were a wonderful bonus, offering easy lake access and a lot of fun on the water. We also loved the nearby playgrounds and enjoyed relaxing at the community pool. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and well-equipped getaway—we’d absolutely stay here again!

Best Airbnb I ever booked ! Plenty of space around the house and property for everyone. Had everything you needed , gas , markets and super markets are within 5 to 20 mins. The cherry on top would have to be the stream in back of the house , pictures can’t do it any justice you have to experience it and take it all in. Thank you Cj !

it was the perfect blend of comfort and luxury. Every room was beautifully decorated, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The kitchen was fully equipped, making it easy to prepare meals and enjoy them on the spacious deck while soaking in the serene surroundings. What truly made our stay unforgettable was our host, Macarena. From our first interaction, she was incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring that we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. She provided excellent local recommendations for activities and dining, and it was clear that she genuinely cared about making our experience memorable.

This listing is very nice, peaceful and has fantastic views. Had a couple of Deer visit out back below the deck. Definitely would like to be a guest in the future

I STAY IN TOWN FREQUENTLY FOR WORK AND MY SISTER AND HER HUSBAND WANTED TO MEET UP SINCE THEY TOO WERE IN TOWN. THEY NEEDED A DOG FRIENDLY PLACE AND I GOT THEM A NIGHT AT PATRICIAS FOR AN ANNIVERSARY PRESENT. ALTHOUGH I DID NOT SEE THE PROPERTY THEY WERE VERY HAPPY AND MENTIONED HOW GREAT THE PLACE WAS. CLEAN COMFORTABLE AND PERFECT FOR THEIR NEEDS. I WILL PROBABLY TRY TO STAY HERE IN THE NEAR FUTURE.

The kp lakehouse was simply beautiful. Everything was spotless and every room had a view of the lake. Towels were plush, bedding comfortable. Owner provided morning coffee. Communication and access to home was very easy. We look forward to our next stay.

The stay was wonderful and very picturesque. John was very communicative and provided great recommendations around the place. The highlight of the stay was definitely the three barn cats who guided us to the front door and were really friendly and a delight to be around. The area around the house is really serene and peaceful and was great to walk around. Would 100% recommend this stay!

Our stay was pleasant. Nice and peaceful for sleeping. Everything was very clean and very nicely labeled with directions for use. Nice location with restaurant choices and groceries within a few miles. It was easy to get to Ricketts Glen for a hike and to Noxen for the Rattlesnake Roundup. The cell service in the general area is sketchy in spots. The internet at Amy’s was sufficient for our needs and the antenna TV had enough channels for us to enjoy a little TV in our down time.

This is a great place to relax, both indoors and outside. Very roomy with comfortable beds and furniture. Great outdoor sitting area. Cats that greet you as you arrive. And an incredibly friendly deer who is so cute stays near the property. Good restaurants are a short drive away.

Nina was kind and responsive as a host, but is sensitive so this place wouldn't be for everyone as she lives downstairs, especially if you like noise, but fine for many. It isn't updated or modern, but that was okay for me. You can open the window and hear the stream which was peaceful. The bed isn't exactly comfortable, but the shower pressure was amazing. The hardest part was not having a functional kitchen with refrigerator or stove. There was a pitcher with filtered water, and a silicone electric kettle for tea, but to access a small fridge you have to go downstairs. Nina did leave me some delicious watermelon to eat upon arrival which was so thoughtful.

Just an outstanding cabin in a great location. I would highly recommend this cabin for anyone looking in the area. I will definitely return!

We had a great stay at this house. My family came up from Philly to watch me graduate from nursing school and this house was perfect for my family to stay at. The house was clean and very spacious. Everyone kept saying how beautiful this house was and they would love to come back to this house again because it was perfect.

The house is wonderful - clean, cozy, and well-furnished. The beautiful fireplace and deep selection of blankets were perfect for keeping out the cold and windy weather. The kitchen was very well-furnished, so it was pleasant to cook most of our meals there. Sabrina was also an outstanding host. The power went out twice because of severe winds bringing down power lines, and she was very responsive and proactive in helping to get the power back. Highly recommend.

Our stay was amazing! We stayed for a week on our honeymoon and we really enjoyed the place. When we arrived we noticed the host decorated our room for our honeymoon and had the whole house nice and clean for us! We had plenty to do at the at house with all of the board games and movies we could watch, let alone the nice atmosphere outside. If we had any questions, we could ask the host anytime for help. The house was located in a nice and clean area as well. Would recommend staying!

Such a great home. Plenty of room for several families. Sitting out on the deck listening to the birds and hearing the creek was so relaxing. Our dogs loved being able to play in this large private backyard and swim in the river. From s’mores to fishing it was great. Rebecca has the home stocked with everything you can imagine. Great place to escape to.

The Cabin was incredible, we loved the neighborhood, the lake was awesome we had a blast with the Kayaks and the basketball game downstairs. The kitchen was spotless as well as the bedrooms and bathroom. We will look into booking this cabin in the future.

House was awesome , very neat and cozy!!! We will definitely come back soon. Communication with the host was great and smooth. We really enjoy our New Year’s Eve there.

We had a peaceful and relaxing weekend at El Bosque, hosted by Julia and Catherine. The house was cozy and had everything we needed. We spent time by the fireplace, made s’mores at the bonfire, hiked at Gouldsboro State Park, and even enjoyed a BBQ and the porch swing. The hosts were responsive and helpful, usually replying within 30–50 minutes, and assisted us with all questions and concerns. Overall, a lovely spring break getaway—we’d definitely recommend it!
