We booked this for some friends of ours. They greatly enjoyed their stay. The place was nice and cozy and away from the touristy crowds. Krishna was responsive to all inquiries. Our friends had no complaints!

Uncle ji and Aunty ji made us feel right at home. We visited nearby mela, had local kangra food and enjoyed several games and competition. Thanks a lot for hosting us!

If you're looking for a peaceful and relaxing vacation at a beautiful house with beautiful views, look no further. Not only is the place serene, but the aesthetic appeal is highly commendable and it makes you feel right at home. The outdoor seating area with the fire pit is a welcome touch and perfect to spend the night with your friends and family while overlooking the valley. The staff are excellent, some of the best we've ever seen and are always available to cook delicious meals for you! We thank them tremendously for taking care of us 🙏 If you're thinking of booking this home, have no qualms, book it. You can't go wrong.

What a place. What a team. If you have the chance to stay here, then STAY HERE!! The home sits at the top of a village overlooking the value with amazing views. It is peaceful and away from tourists. You will feel like you are off the grid and away from everything else. The home is brand new. We were lucky enough to see snow for 2 days making the scenery even more spectacular. We even saw monkeys come down from the trees after it started snowing. The team are absolute kings. The food (breakfast, lunch and dinner) was the best we had in India. The chef’s attention to detail is second to no one we’ve seen. Make sure you have a BBQ outside with a bon fire. The staff are always checking to see if you need something and making sure that everything is going well with regular check ups through the day and evening. The owner provided some amazing tips and support for the surrounding areas and even drove us down the mountain to see Manali. Would recommend everyone stays here. Awesome.

Well, to start with, nothing but praises for the host, Kritika, she was so friendly and helpful. Has so much knowledge about the place, full of recommendations and places to check out. Sadly I was only staying for one night as I was passing through but she suggested so many great places to eat and shop! Plus the welcome basket was such a nice personal touch. Loved it! Special mention to the staff (especially Suman didi), they do such a good job of keeping the place (Bathrooms, Kitchen, Rooms etc.) squeaky clean and super friendly too. The place itself was super easy to find, accurate location pin, plus Kritika was literally just one phone call away the whole time I stayed there. Phone network was good plus the place has WiFi, so no communication issues at all. Safe to say I’m definitely coming back for a longer stay super soon simply to explore Bir in its entirety! Very good experience over all, 10/10 would recommend Hermit’s Nest to anyone who is in Bir. Kudos to Kritika and her team.

The place was lovely- perfect for our family reunion! Clean, comfortable with lots of small details like games, water in the rooms as well as comfortable lounge chairs, patios overlooking the valley. The breakfasts were excellent with very generous portions and the staff very friendly and helpful. The cafe was close by and the food was excellent. The water gets very hot so recommend turning off when not using for easier temperature control. The driveway is steep like all the other hotels in the area but the view is worth it. Easy to connect to the lamadugh trek from the cafe and close to the park and wildlife sanctuary. Easy walk to old manali also. Thanks for a great stay!

If you are looking for a private and quiet place to stay, this one is the best. It’s up at old manali with a very cozy bed facing right into the mountains. You have a kitchen in case you wanna cook something and an extra neat bathroom. No rush, just you and the nature ✨

Homeyhuts, Manali was nothing short of magical. So beautiful, so serene — we already miss it deeply. But what truly made the experience unforgettable were the hosts. Such a kind, warm-hearted couple — we developed such a familial relationship with them. They helped us rent a bike, made sure we had everything we needed, and offered delicious homemade food that was fresh, hot, and extremely economical. What they said was food for two could easily feed more — we even stored some in the fridge for later. The aadu achaar (peach pickle) and mirch achaar were so flavorful and unique — we’re still thinking about them! We also had the freedom to cook our own meals, which made it feel like home.And we must mention the main character of the property — their dog Dexter! A huge German Shepherd mix, Dexter was the sweetest and most gentle giant. He took care of olive like a baby sister. A special mention to Krishna Didi and Mukesh, the kind helpers who made our stay even more comfortable❤️💕😍

Wow what a place, I must stay one of the beautiful properties I've come across. Should you be looking for a peaceful environment and relaxing time, visit them. On top of it the food, all I can say is fantastic, specially the Trout fish. Everything seems to be so perfect that you may not wanna goback. Speciall thanks to Sachin the Host and Kamal & Ankush who were really took care of everything we needed.

We had a wonderful 2-night stay at Rabbit House in Himachal Pradesh. The place was cozy and perfect for a family getaway. My daughters absolutely loved it! The food was delicious, freshly prepared with local ingredients, and each meal was a delightful experience. Biki ji his wife and anju (their Daughter) were incredibly friendly, always eager to help and make our stay comfortable. We truly appreciated their warm hospitality and thoughtful recommendations. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a serene and homely experience in the hills.

The surrounding view was very pretty. Ice the husky is a sweetheart. Trek to the place is around 10 mins, but is difficult to trek at night. Bathroom was very neat. Food is great, but takes a while to arrive. Dome could be cleaned better for a clear view of the sky. On the whole, it was a good experience.

Bhaveek been a great host and was very caring. During our stay, Manali was badly hit by flood and heavy rains but still staff managed to take good care of us within limited available resources. The property location is excellent and I will rank it as a 5 star property. We booked compete villa of 8 bed rooms and we had a great time. This property is in nature and around greenery but still close to Mall road and old Manaali ( just 20 minutes walk). Looking forward to have another stay during winter or next summer . I recently visited Nikhil's place with family, The place felt too welcoming. His property was too comfortable & peaceful we've extended the stay.. Nikhil was too promt in solving any minor issues & suggesting local places. Atul bhai took very good care of us. would definitely recommend if you're looking to stay in peaceful & homely environment.
