Holiday apartment on the shore of Lake Päijänne

You can enjoy the sounds of nature while staying on the large terraces of this unique home on the beach, where the sun shines all day from morning to night. The holiday apartment is located on the shore of a clear and drinkable clean Päijänne. You have access to all the amenities of our summer cottages, from air conditioning to a sauna. There is the option to heat a large hot tub on-site for an additional fee of €50. You can enjoy swimming, fishing, or otherwise just staying on the lake with a rowing boat, a canoe is also available.

In this unique and peaceful place, it's easy to relax and let go of the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The bedroom has a beautiful panoramic view. In the summer kitchen, you can cook either on an open fire or on a gas grill. The summer kitchen and the cottage kitchen complement each other perfectly. The fun mobile sauna heats up with wood and offers gentle steam baths and a place to wash with lake water. The large lake terrace is most likely the most beautiful living room where you have watched nature shows.

Enjoy sun from morning to evening with lake views. The villa has two wood-fired saunas, large terraces, and three separate bedrooms. Modern facilities from the kitchen to a toilet and shower are provided. Spend evenings around the beach fireplace or explore the lake with the available boat and canoe. The villa includes a 65" Smart TV and 300 M wifi (remote working possible). The nearest shops are a 20-minute drive away, with Helsinki 90 minutes away by car. The nearest bus stop is 4 km away.

The cabin is crowned by a wood-fired sauna that offers soft steam and a magnificent, large hot tub with a view of the lake. A private sandy beach and a jetty invite you to swim and enjoy the sunny summer days.

A large beach plot located near Messilä's slopes, ski trails and golf course. Come spend your vacation near Messilä holiday resort. Private beach. Main cottage: living room, kitchen + 3 bedrooms and toilet, total 90 m2. There is also another cottage on the plot, with 4 separate beds upstairs. Modern kitchen equipment, including a dishwasher. The sauna building has a shower, an electric sauna and a small room. Large terrace in front of the sauna, which also has a wood-fired hot tub.

Koskikara

A lovely cabin on the shore of Kalkkistenkoski. On the terace you can grill, eat, enjoy the evening sun, lounge on the deck chairs or see the local bird populations. The cabin also has a sauna, hot tub and an indoor fireplace. The cabins kitchen has the essentials for cooking and the barbeque and outdoor fireplace can also be used for cooking. The kitchen and sauna have warm water and drinking water will be delivered to the cabin. The cabin has an outdoor composting toilet.

Welcome to relax in beautiful Asikkala - just a stone's throw from one of Finland's most popular, the magnificent scenery of Pulkkilanharju and the diverse outdoor and cycling routes of Päijänne National Park. The cottage is decorated in a traditional Scandinavian style, which has sought to preserve the original atmosphere and furnishings of the building. Each room exudes the charm of the past, but you still have all the necessary amenities for a modern holiday.

Take a steam bath in the wooden sauna and cool off on the terrace while looking at the beautiful scenery to the private beach or retreat to the sofa to read. 94 km from HKI-Vantaa airport (an hour drive). 5 km to store (Orimattilan Prisma). 16 km to Lahti, the nearest big city. Cosy countryside cottage in the middle of nowhere. Cottage is located in same yard where the hosts home is. 15km to Riihimäki and 75km to Helsinki. Fully equipped kitchen with running water (both hot and cold water). Sauna in a separate building, built in 1930's. No shower there but traditional bucket shower works. Outdoor toilet. Four beds and one crib for baby. Good place for some hiking, biking and relaxing.
