Villa Germaine – beautiful GARDEN and view of the SEINE

Welcome to Villa Germaine, a house with a direct view of the Seine that my spouse, Jérôme, and I have renovated with a view to welcoming you for a Burgundy getaway in the heart of a National Natural Park. We will be keen to make you have a very pleasant time with this beautiful house and its exterior in the immediate vicinity of the Douix ("one of the most beautiful bottoms in the world", according to TF1) as well as the city center of Châtillon-sur-Seine.

This is the perfect base from which to discover Burgundy's historical, architectural and gastronomic riches. The house is located about 30 min east of Chablis and 15 min from Les Riceys and about 1 hour from Auxerre, Dijon and Troyes. We are between Crémant and Champagne. It is also a little more than 4 hours by car from Calais and 5 hours from Provence, ideal for a stopover. You can enjoy a few steps from Lake Marcenay, the bird conservatory and hiking.

Cocoon at the bottom of the garden & Nordic bath

We are pleased to host you in our small independent duplex, completely renovated and air-conditioned, in the extension of our farmhouse. You will have your own garden and access to the wood-fired Nordic bath. If you're looking for peace and nature, you've found the right place! Here you won't be bothered by neighbors or traffic, rest guaranteed! This is the perfect base for discovering a little-known corner of France that has a lot to offer.

The location is ideal if you want to discover the jewels of our beloved Burgundy such as Semur en Auxois, Alesia, Flavigny as well as Vezelay and many more. Two highway exits are 15 km away. Our village of Epoisses is looking forward to hosting you to discover its beautiful heritage.

Peaceful 3-star cottage offers a relaxing stay, for walkers, cyclists, in a green setting, on the banks of the Burgundy Canal. You can take nice bike rides, walk, with your dog, visit castles, vineyards, beautiful villages around the cottage. Close to the village halls. Cocooning cottage, fully equipped, sleeps 4 people. Enjoy a friendly moment in the countryside, with the song of birds, barbecues, rest on the enclosed patio.

NEW in 2025 ! Renovation of the kitchen, living room and bedrooms, a car park with an electric charging station and a 12m x 4m pétanque court (the ball game). Imagine a small house with blue shutters in a quiet alley in the heart of the village. Downstairs, 2 large bright rooms and a bathroom (all new). Upstairs, 2 interconnecting rooms. This is my grandmother Germaine's house, set in a garden of lawn and flowers.

The Rose Garden of Saint-Rémy – La Rose Burgundy

Located at the confluence of Burgundy, on the road to Saint Jacques de Compostela, on the edge of the Burgundy Canal, a few steps from the Abbey of Fontenay, the vineyards of Chablis, the medieval town of Semur en Auxois, the site of Alesia, a cottage welcomes you in an old inn that has become a family home with three studios, and an apartment composed of 2 bedrooms, with access to the garden.

The Perched House

A small, warm wooden architect's house for two people with its private garden. It is located in an orchard in the middle of fruit trees in peace and quiet. Located on a hill, it is a balcony on the Burgundy countryside, in the Tonnerrois near Chablis and at the gates of Champagne. I live next door, I am very available for advice, suggestions. An often fabulous sky for astronomy lovers.
