Holiday rentals with lake access in Lake County

This house was everything I needed for my gender reveal the host is a nice friendly guy the house has a game room that was the most exciting part about the whole weekend the kitchen is so beautiful all bathrooms is updated and the beds are so comfortable the neighborhood is so clean and peaceful thank you we really enjoyed our stay we coming back soon !!!!!

The Lake house was spectacular. It was pristine and peaceful. My family and I had a relaxing and enjoyable time with lots to do and a lot of space. Highly recommend if you are looking for a house on the lake for families and groups of friends, feels like a home away from home.

This was a wonderful place. Our daughter graduated navy boot camp and she was able to sit in the backyard and relax by the lake. It was welcoming, inviting and peaceful and quiet. We will definitely be coming again. This was our first Airbnb and it exceeded our expectations.

I love the place. it was great ti find coffee! I like sugar so I bought some and left it for the next guess. The place is super quite, clean, loved it. sure would be even more beautiful during summer. the fure place it's beautiful 😍 I enjoyed watching the deer, birds and swans and ducks. love it. ❤️

Larry was a very accommodating and responsive host! The place was amazing and exactly as described. Plenty of room, amenities, and beautiful views. He made sure we had plenty of supplies and all the stuff for Smores!

This home is AWESOME. It is VERY LARGE and VERY SPACIOUS. The bonus room in the basement with table hockey, basketball toss, assorted games, and a hide-a-bed sofa is great. Lori is VERY VERY RESPONSIVE. The home is in a VERY SAFE and walkable neighborhood. Snyder Park (with a playground) is a 5-7 minute walk (on same street). It TRULY is just a 5 minute drive, or 20 minute walk to the Ravinia Festival Center! We loved the home, and our stay. I highly recommend 😉

We enjoyed our short stay very much! The home was extremely clean and everything was in great shape! Nicely decorated - looked exactly as shown in pictures. Beautiful outdoor area, with fire pit and grill. Nicely stocked kitchen and very comfortable beds! Would definitely recommend!!!!

Our stay was wonderful! The host was very friendly and communicated with us well!! The view of the lake from the house was absolutely stunning! We thoroughly enjoyed the outside seating and fire pit!! The house had everything we needed! It was as close to feeling like being at home as I think it could have felt! Such a beautiful home! We hope it’s available for our next trip to the area!!

We had a great time at the Randolf Hotel! We even decided to stay an extra night. The food downstairs is amazing. The hosts were very available and that view…Wow!

I had a couple family members stay at Sharon’s recently, and they didn’t have a single bad thing to say about it. The host was very responsive and helpful as well. Definitely recommend!

We needed a place for us and our dogs on shirt notice, and I'm so grateful this place was available! Very dog friendly!

Loved our stay, so many beds and a lot of kitchen utensils available for use. Private area, the fire pit in front of the lake was a favorite!

Sharon's place is beautiful and just as described. She has lovely furnishings, lots of pots/pans/place settings, etc. in the kitchen and one of the best area guides and information that I have seen in an Airbnb. We loved being walking distance to Libertyville and all the restaurants and stores it has to offer plus the train to Chicago. We definitely felt like we were at home away from home.

This is a small cabin, but well laid out. Be aware that there is a short walk from the busy parking lot, but not over far and it’s an easy path. The cabin is clean, quiet and right on the water. We brought two dogs and they loved the place. There is a water bowl in a cabinet by the door. Nothing to beat it in the area, and Jennifer was nothing but helpful. Would stay again.

This was our second visit to Amanda’s and just like the first time, it left my boys with fun memories. We will be back next summer.

This was my second time staying at this lakehouse, and it was just as great as I remembered. I absolutely love the peaceful surrounding area—it's a perfect spot to relax and enjoy nature. The hosts were very responsive and helpful, answering any questions I had right away. Everything in the listing was exactly as described, and the check-in instructions were clear and easy to follow. The house was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed. I’m already looking forward to coming back again!

Our host was fantastic! He called to verify we had all we needed and included some much needed extras for a very nominal charge. We had another Airbnb booked and we were cancelled 10 days before our trip. We rebooked here and this host went above and beyond to make our stay pleasant and took the time to ensure our needs were met after learning of our situation. The home is so clean, modern and well decorated. I can’t say enough how appreciative we are.

Beautiful waterfront property and cozy cottage. The house is minutes from the train station so you can plan a trip to the city without the traffic. The lake is full of pelicans, ducks and geese and I never tired of watching them. The driveway is an absolute adventure! We took turns riding in the back and front of our rental mini van so we could all experience the incline. You’ll be fine-just do it-it’s fun! The neighborhood and surrounding areas are beautiful and there’s plenty of restaurants and shopping nearby. There is limited cabinet and refrigerator space so don’t over buy groceries like we did and there’s no ice. Bring trays or buy a bag if you need this. The fire pit was used and we got firewood at Home-depot along with s’mores sticks. The house is stocked with everything needed and we had an amazing time and made unforgettable memories and were comfortable and surrounded by beautiful scenery.

The place was beautiful. The house is a bit old but we didn’t mind it, it made it feel homey in a way. My friends and I loved the hot tub, would love to come back again.

The house was perfect for our needs. The host was wonderful at making sure we had what we needed for our guests. We were traveling with a 4 year old and a 3 month old and she made sure the home had a high chair, a pack’n’play, and one of the rooms had a Lego set that the 4 year old was thrilled to play with! The upstairs was definitely warm on hot days and nights, but extra fans were provided for each room which was helpful. Overall we enjoyed our stay and felt comfortable.
