Family-friendly holiday rentals in Lake County

Our stay was fantastic! The house was gorgeous and clean and the view of the water was so nice. The beds were super comfy and the area where the property sat was peaceful. We had some issues with the internet going in and out while trying to watch a movie together, but we just turned the tv off and everyone went to bed. It's definitely a great location for any type of retreat or girl's trip. Thanks so much for a great vacation!

This was a lovely cottage and a great getaway from a busy Chicago life. We only spent a couple nights but we brought my dog and we just wanted to chill for a bit. Soaking in the hot tub was a must! The backyard was completely fenced in so my dog could roam and investigate while we enjoyed the hot tub under strings of yard lights, creating a peaceful vibe. Loved it! We cooked a lot (inside) since the weather was cool and windy and the well-stocked kitchen was much appreciated. Great coffee machine (bring your own coffee!) and dishwasher. They came in very handy. Comfortable beds, clean linens, adjustable thermostat with easy instructions, extra blankets and pillows... all you'll need to feel at home. Thank you for a great time and we can't wait to come back. Next time we're bringing our friends!

Everything was good just washing machine was not working and dish washer wasn’t operating good and there was enough toiletries

The excellent host explained everything in advance, agreed on all the nuances. We had a great time with a group of 12 people. In my experience, I recommend it.

Very clean and as advertised. You can get to the beach either through the scenic route, which is walking over some dunes (hills) or via a sidewalk on a street, with no hills. They have an app that provides a lot of information about the area.

This was our second stay and it was just as good as the first! The space works perfectly for us when we come to Miller to visit family that lives just down the street. The kitchen is much better stocked with equipment than most we stay at. Everything I needed to make dishes for family potlucks was right there. Jennifer is a very thoughtful host. She even offered us a ride when we left.

The return trip was even better than the first! We enjoyed the balcony, the woods across the street add to the relaxation. The uncrowded beach made the sunset even better

This place is a great getaway. If your looking for a place in Miller Beach area and want to see copious amounts of varying wildlife just hanging around then this spot is just what your looking for. The host Blake is very responsive and respectful. I stayed for over a week with my dog and he didn’t want to leave. You won’t either.

We had a wonderful time. The house was stocked with all the amenities: kitchen well stocked with dishes, pans, silverware, etc. The bathroom had everything you needed. Having access to the washer and dryer was awesome; we could wash the towels as using them. The neighbors were friendly, parking was great, and having the beach right in front was wonderful. The location was close to everything: grocery, restaurants, park, etc. We went to a Cubby game to celebrate Fathers Day and our daughters birthday, went to our granddaughters softball games, and celebrated our daughters birthday dinner at Bugaboos.
