Holiday rentals with a kayak in Lake County

Lovely place! Near restaurants, bars and a brewery-Glacier Brewery is a great place to go, there is live music and a food truck there on the weekends. Short drive to Flathead lake, it’s a beautiful lake!! Great views from the front deck of the lake and mountains. Mule Deer feed under the trees in the shade. House gets hot, we had hot days in excess of 90*, windows need to be shut during the day and blinds closed until it cools off at night. We really enjoyed our time in Polson! Eat at Linley’s!

House is so private and peaceful with incredible views of the lake. Rooms are large with lots of space. Kitchen is well stocked with plenty of dishes and utensils. Beds are very cozy. It was so hard to leave. We will miss the views the sound of the waves and eating dinner on the spacious deck. Definitely the best AirBnb we have stayed at.

Sometimes you find a great place with wonderful hosts, Mary and Dale feel like family now. They helped to ensure my elderly parents were comfortable. I will be blessed if I can return and enjoy another stay soon. Thanks Dale & Mary

Gabriela was fantastic from the start. She assisted me with everything to ensure a great time. She responded very quickly and was flexible with the check-in time. The Gun Barrel Ranch House was immaculate and well maintained. My friends and I could not have been any more pleased with our stay. We had a great reunion thanks to Gabriela!!

this was honestly one of my best experiences with an AirBnB. I usually make sure to get a private space and was nervous about a room in a shared house, but wow this was such a great stay. We only stayed one night and yet somehow left feeling like family. Dale and Mary provided the perfect balance of privacy and hospitality. they were so friendly, welcoming, and just great company. We really enjoyed spending the evening down at the waterfront, they had a kayak for me to borrow, great restaurant recommendations, and a lovely bonfire ready when we came back from dinner. and to top it all off, a fantastic fresh breakfast before we checked out. The views and access to the lake were my main reason for booking, but they ended up only the 2nd best thing about our stay. the warmth from Dale and Mary was 1st by a mile. I will be coming back, thanks for everything!

Enjoyed our stay!

Lanny’s place is amazing! The view is breathtaking and the nearby area is lovely. The house had everything that we needed to make for a memorable trip with 6 teens. The kids fished from the docks and grilled the catch on the lakeside firepit , kayaked, jet-skiied, and enjoyed fireworks, which made for lots of fun memories. I enjoyed quiet cups of coffee on the deck, grilling for dinner, and going for beautiful drives on the long idyllic country roads. The weather (and water) was cooler than we had expected, but I already miss it coming home to 107 degree heat in Southern California. Montana did not disappoint, and either did Lanni’s place!

Nice place, good kitchen, great view. We had never been to Flathead Lake before, and loved it.

What a lovely stay with had with Colin on Flathead Lake! The cabins are so clean and amazingly well stocked. We loved the proximity to the lake and, as we were traveling with our dogs., and our seven-year-old, the little public dock and the lDayton park for kiddos and pets was a pleasant surprise. We enjoyed meals at The Chuck Wagon (limited menu some evenings, but wonderful, friendly staff and strong drinks) and The Lodge at Lake Mary Ronan, but our favorite thing to do (per Colin’s suggestion) was pick up meat at M&S and bbq on the patio. Heaven! The views, the stars, the cabins, Colin and his family, simply heaven. Highly recommend for a relaxing getaway or as a springboard for day trips to Kalispell, Bigfork, Lakeside, or Glacier.

I would recommend this property to everyone, was very clean, kitchen was well stocked, so much to do or just relax. Was very thankful for the generator as we lost power one afternoon for about an hour. Only down side was difficult to find as there was no house #, but would definitely stay again!!

Part of me wants to lie and say this place sucked so it’s not all booked up next time we try to make a reservation. To say this place is a hidden gem is an understatement. Jason and Andrea were above and beyond as hosts from the minute they greeted us and showed us around. The breakfast they served did not disappoint; her triple berry scones are to die for! They lit a fire at 8 every night creating an opportunity to casually get to know other guests. If they’ll have us we hope to start a family tradition and come back for many years to come! Thanks again Jason and Andrea, y’all kicked our wedding off to a great start!

Really like the location and setting. Beds were super comfortable, kitchen was well appointed and really enjoyed the gas fire pit on the patio.

The lake was beautiful and only 8 feet from the house. The bed in the master was very comfortable with a modern bathroom. we had absolutely everything that we needed.

Gorgeous yard! Dock, kayaks and paddleboards, everything you need for water fun. Kids zipline swing and a small gravel area sloping down to the water for them to play. House was reasonably clean, lots of beds. The updated areas are very nice, the older parts of the house more dated and slightly musty. Great place with everything a family or two could need, we loved it.

What a truly amazing place to spend time with family! We had such a blast enjoying all that swan lake and Bigfork had to offer but most importantly we could not believe what a beautiful home the Stuga was. Julia hats off to you and your family for creating such a magical place. We were in town for a wedding down the road and felt so lucky to have such an oasis to wake up in every day. The dock was perfect for swimming chatting, and exploring the lake via kayak and paddle board not to mention just taking it all in the porch. We had several wonderful meals and coffee on the porch every morning! Thank you Julia for letting us enjoy a small slice of Montana paradise on swan lake. My sister is already planning on a making the trip out next year with her family.
