House holiday rentals in Lake Cowichan

This place was GORGEOUS. The layout of the house is so nice and big. Perfect for our trip. My husband and I traveled with our medium/large dogs and a friend and we never felt on top of each other. The kitchen and dining room were huge! They had everything possible to cook with. We thought we’d be eating out for our three night stay but ended up cooking two of the nights! The backyard is magical. Hummingbirds galore. The pond provides beautiful sounds all day. Beds were comfy and pillows weren’t stiff. The hot tub was a dream. Felt like a resort. This place is a real gem. We already booked another stay!

We really loved the quietness and peacefulness of the place. The layout of the house was awesome. The entertainment was top notch. We even used the gym . I would definitely recommend this place if you are with a group of friends or family gathering!

This is a lovely property. There was a lot of thought put into making this property comfortable for guests. Nicely furnished, well equipped kitchen and plenty of good quality towels and pool towels. We made use of the hot tub and sauna. The hot tub and pool were well maintained during our stay. The weather was a bit chilly when we were there so we didn’t use the pool much. Would love to come back and experience Matt & Lina’s home in the summer.

Great place to stay for four nights

Peaceful and lovely house, the views from the balcony were beautiful. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Nanaimo.

Great location and very easy to find. The house was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped for our stay. It was close to the mall with groceries and restaurants, and we loved how convenient everything was while still being in a quiet neighbourhood. Bowen was a good host and was very responsive. Pool was not heated but would be lovely on a hot day. We enjoyed sitting on the patio in the evenings and watching the different birds fly by, including a local owl.

We had a small group from work gather at April’s place and it was fantastic. So much space for us to spend time together. Everything was set up for us to have an amazing time: the pool was warm and so clean. There are tons of thoughtful touches in the home and the kitchen is incredibly stocked. It’s just a dream, we are so thankful! Our group wants to come back next year! Thank you!!!!

We had a wonderful stay. A group of several moms and daughters attending a local event. Perfect balance of communal space for making great connections with lovely private spaces for each family. Absolutely loved it and hope to do it again next year. Thank you Satnam!

Rob is a fantastic host. We had some issues getting the fireplace to start and he came right over and fixed it for us. He is very responsive and friendly. Highly recommend his Airbnb for a peaceful getaway!

My husband and I stayed here for two nights, on our way from Lake Quinault to Port Angeles. I'm thrilled we did; it was the perfect interlude from hiking in the Lake Quinault area to the hustle of Port Angeles. The house is peaceful, restful, quiet, and comfortable. Right on a beach that is walkable esp. at low tide, very close to Shi Shi beach and to Cape Flattery (a lovely hike; and the Makah Museum, just down the road, is worth a stop). But just sitting in the living room or on the deck, watching the waves and a resident eagle, was perfect. I've never slept so well. Rebecca is a gracious and responsive host; even checking out fresh fish vendors in Neah for us. You won't regret a few nights here.

Camila’s place was amazing. The views from the house and the decks were breathtaking. Spacious accommodation with all the amenities for a relaxing holiday - modern kitchen, hot tub, games and a fire pit. A peaceful and private location on Galiano with easy access to many of the island’s trails and beaches. Camila was friendly, responsive and very accommodating. A superb holiday destination!

What a wonderful place. House was bright and airy and beautifully decorated. It had everything we needed and more. Lots of cupboard space in the bedrooms, comfortable beds, fully equipped kitchen. We were 4 adults and there was tons of space for all of us. It was a great experience and although it was a bit of a drive into Victoria it was definitely worth it.

Just spent four nights in the beautiful garden suite. It was spacious and comfortable. We were in the area for a wedding and this locale was excellent. Perfect for two couples. The garden was in bloom and an ideal place for a morning coffee and breakfast. Easily accessible to Victoria & Ferry. Highly recommend this lovely spot and a visit to the Island.

We stayed here as a group of seven women and had a fantastic time. The house was spotless, with comfortable beds, lots of towels, and a well-stocked kitchen with tons of fridge space. We loved the open layout and appreciated how much comfortable seating there was—inside at the dining table and living room, and outside on the patio and around the hot tub. The Bluetooth speaker was a great touch. The house is in a new subdivision with lots of empty lots nearby, which felt a little odd at first, but the backyard view of the trees was beautiful, and it’s just a short walk to the beach. Only small feedback: the overhead lighting in the living room wasn’t cozy at night—lamps would help—and the fire pit benches weren’t comfy enough to use. Otherwise, a truly lovely stay. We’d absolutely come back!

Our host Guido was wonderful, friendly and quick to respond with any questions we had. Like many other posts state, the views are breathtaking and the residence is new, modern, and very clean.

The location of this place couldn't be better for exploring the Island and especially for mountain biking (hosts were very accommodating with letting us store/charge our ebikes in their garage during our visit). Very easy access to everything North and South of Nanaimo as well as the city itself. The apartment is very peaceful with your own private garden/sitting area. While Nash and Louise are delightful hosts the real star of this property is Ollie, the most well behaved dog you will ever meet. Ollie greeted us upon our arrival and checked in most mornings to make sure we were well taken care of. Be sure to get Nash and Louise's restaurant recommendations.

Truly remarkable place to stay. The lake was amazing and there's so many great touches to offer staying here to list. Fishing right from the dock was just the icing on the cake we caught rainbow trout, bluegill, and small mouth bass from the air bnb dock.

What a beautiful and peaceful gem to stay in Jordan River! The place is absolutely worth the trip. We loved every aspect of the house and location and wish we could have stayed a lot longer knowing how special this place is. It is surrounded by beautiful coast trails and beaches and the restaurants in the area are amazing. If you are wanting to get away from all the noises, this place is it!

We had such a wonderful stay at Mason's. It was a perfect spot for out ladies weekend. It's a beautiful property and we enjoyed many delicious meals and laughs on the deck. The space was spotless! We are talking about booking it again next year.

It was so peaceful, beautiful stay I have had in a long long time! Animals and orchards to walk around. The view was gorgeous and the decor was fantastic. I hope Brianna and Ryan know that they have the most special place and when I return to the island, I will stay there 100% !

great place, loved being on the water

Jamie’s place was amazing for our stay in Victoria. It has everything you could need and more. Everything was clean and tidy. The patio area and garden were peaceful and you could feel the love that was put into this place. We will definitely try to come back here on our next trip.

The cottage was wonderful! Super clean and lovely--my mom was with me and was apprehensive about her first Airbnb, but this really sold her and she loved it!
