Cozy Tranquility on Walnut, Galena IL Entire Home Vacation Rental, 1 Bed, 2 Bath, 4 Person Occupancy This adorable, recently remodeled and refurnished, 1 bedroom/2 full bath townhome is ready to welcome and embrace you any time of the year! Situated with seasonal views of the North Golf Course, and just a short distance from the driving range makes it a great choice for golfers... it's charm and central location make it an ideal choice for everyone! The lower floor offers a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, and living room lounge with large Smart TV (featuring Roku, Hulu, Disney+, ESPN+) and rustic wood burning fireplace. Exit the sliding door and enjoy nature at its finest. The back deck has a gas grill, and table and chair set to savor some alfresco dining or dark sky star gazing. On the upper level, as you pass the landing area, you will find the bedroom with heavenly king sized bed and private full bath. A second Smart TV (with the same options as the lower level TV) is featured in the bedroom as well. As a fabulous bonus, our guests will have access to a second pool reserved for the exclusive use of guests of this town home group. If your dog will be accompanying you, please let us know. We kindly ask that he/she be kenneled any time left alone in the townhome. There is a one time charge of $75 for your pet's stay. Guest Access Our guests have full complimentary access to the Galena Territory Owners' Club and all the amenities it offers such as indoor and outdoor pools, fitness center/workout facility, large game room, gym, tennis, basketball, pickle ball courts and more. This 1840's miner's cottage in the heart of Galena is only 3 blocks from beautiful, historic and fun Downtown Galena Main Street, but is far enough to have quiet times in the quarter acre yard of perennial gardens as well the expansive 2 story front porch, and 3rd porch off the kitchen, with gas grill. The house sits on a corner lot in the Galena National Historic District. The bathroom and kitchen are newly remodeled and the entire house is designer decorated. Beautiful!

We stayed during a heat wave, but the AC kept things cool and calm. The place was quiet, private, and felt tucked away from everything. On the last night, a storm passed through, so we cooked a slow dinner, played overly intense Yahtzee, hit the sauna out of curiosity, then watched Love Island like clockwork. Lottie, our dog, loved it too; posted up on the dog bed, locked eyes with a squirrel, and took her job very seriously. A perfect little retreat. We’d come back in a heartbeat.

I had a fantastic stay! The accommodations were super comfortable, and the space was decorated so cutely—it had such a welcoming and cozy vibe. Everything I needed for a relaxing weekend was thoughtfully provided. The host was incredibly responsive and made everything so easy with clear instructions for the home, plus helpful recommendations for things to do around town. It really made the whole experience seamless and enjoyable. I would definitely stay here again!

My family of 6 was very delighted to travel to Galena for our first visit. What a beautiful area and historical town. Although this unit is remote and private it's still within an under 10 min drive from the amazing town and excellent amenities. The club house was a treat. The unit is perfect and I wouldn't change thing. Amazing weekend get away from Chicago.

Golden Meadows Escape: A Luxurious Country Retreat

This place was exactly what we were looking for. We had a group of 9 coming from different cities, all meet at this beautiful location. Check-in was flawless and the entire house was spotless when we arrived. There was plenty of space to accommodate our entire group and we immediately felt right at home. The scenery was absolutely gorgeous. We enjoyed time on the deck in front of the gas fire as well as the spacious fire pit just off the house. The yard was plenty big for games and although we had beautiful weather during our trip, we had a big theatre room to ourselves when we wanted some inside time. Our host was very helpful from start to finish. We always got a quick response and he worked with us to make sure our trip was special. We highly recommend this spot and would love to come back someday.
