The cabin is warm and cozy, sunny, wood burner & heat pump. location is nestled between Grandview and Lake Hāwea station. We have no light pollution making for incredible stargazing.

Close to Lake walks,bike tracks,fishing,general store, takeaway,garage. 15 mins to wanaka shops an eateries. Responsible dog owners welcome on approval. We arrived in wanaka a little late and check in was very straightforward as Anna had sent the instructions prior:) The home was very clean and very homely to us with very neutral colours that soothes our mood. There were necessary amenities as listed! The location of the Airbnb was about 17 mins away from the town centre which was great! Peaceful and quiet. The night sky full of stars is something my husband and I would never forget!

Wow! Everything about Kelly and Craig's Escape is wonderful. Clear instructions. Spotlessly clean. Beautifully appointed. Comfortable bed. Excellent heating - heat pump and the best little fire. Not to mention the under floor heating in the bathroom. Cooking facilities with all the tools you need, if you want a night in. Lovely private grounds, with the bonus of an awesome hot tub. A short 15 minute drive into Wanaka. My husband and I wouldn't hesitate staying again. Thanks Kelly and Craig.

We enjoyed our stay at this cozy family home 😊 We were traveling with a toddler and the host kindly provided us with a cot & a highchair, and generally there was a lot to do with a little one. The house has beautiful views and a big outdoor space, which we really enjoyed. Note there is no aircon in the house, so we had to ask the host to help us with the heating since April nights were really chilly. Overall a nice stay, thanks for having us!

Awesome stay! Dave was extremely helpful and easy to communicate with right from the start. He accommodated our late check in due to road conditions and made sure we had everything we needed- as well as offering advice on things to do and see in the area. Great cabin, super cute & cosy just like the photos. Would definitely go back again and couldn’t recommend Dave & the cabin stay more highly! 10/10! ⭐️
