Cozy creekside cottage in south Crested Butte. 15 minute drive from downtown CB. Placid setting with hiking trails and fire pit directly out front.

My wife and I stayed there in Feb. 2025 and loved it! Skiing in Crested Butte was as easy as driving into town, leaving the car in public parking, and hopping on the free mountain express that takes you up to the base of the mountain ski area. The bus runs every 15 minutes from locations throughout town. The cabins were the perfect size and the kitchen surprisingly functional for cooking all of our meals (there is no microwave). We hope to come back in the future!

Our family loved the access to 2 hot spring fed hot tubs. The cabin was a perfect size for my family of 5. Loved the views, and the Penny Hot springs was half a mile from the cabin. We were able to check out the town of Redstone, Hayes Creek Falls, and drove to Glenwood Springs for the day. We planned on doing some fishing but the rapids were to fast. Overall we enjoyed our stay so much.

We had a wonderful weekend away with our pup here. We enjoyed a quiet and quaint stay with a fantastic hot tub + private cabin. 10/10 would come back - thank you Matthew!!

Absolutely beautiful! If you are looking for the true Colorado getaway this is your place. The cabin is well stocked, just bring food and clothes. Enjoyed our coffee on the front deck watching the sunrise. I would be happy right there the rest of my life. Our favorite airbnb we have ever stayed in! Just book it, you wont be disappointed!

What a wonderful retreat! It snowed almost 3 feet while I was there so I didn’t get to enjoy the sounds of the river very much, but the winter scene out the wall of windows was beautiful! Well equipped kitchen, good table for a craft workspace, cozy gas fireplace, and a big screen TV with all the apps made for such a relaxing time. Will definitely come back, but probably in the summer to be able to enjoy the outside space a little bit more. Highly recommend!

This was my first time using Airbnb. It was a great first experience. The property is tucked into the forest so that you feel in nature. We stayed 5 days and wished it was longer. The wood burning stove as well as the wood burning fireplace were great and the large deck was perfect for cornhole and just relaxing. The owner, Keegan, responded in minutes when messaged, and provided all the information needed.

Beautiful cabin, very private and quiet, isolated from any houses, amazing mountain views from each side of the house. We spent an unforgettable time there, lots of wildlife around, cows walk around the property, we saw bear prints which was exciting. Robert was very communicative about any questions we had and very quickly responded. The road is pretty rough and so make sure you have an SUV, very rocky and some place so narrow only one car can pass, but it is quite an off road adventure and fun.There is wifi out there, so no problem connecting to an internet or tv to watch favorite shows.There is plenty of space for everyone, upstairs balcony has beautiful views. Everything like basic essentials is there like tp, towels, cups, drinking bottle water is there. We went with dogs and had an amazing time up there, and there was nothing better than sitting on the porch and watching the nature and the stars in the evening. We loved the place, highly recommend and will definitely come back

Cabin was exactly what my family needed to find rest in peace and to remember my brother who passed away in January. The sound of the aspen leaves tinkling and the river flowing was healing for our grief. Inside decor is delightful, but it’s so beautiful. I couldn’t help it. Just stay on the hammock or on the porch recliner. My husband let a little bonfire on our last night and from the back porch we enjoyed the closeness of the stars.

Really enjoyed the Gold Creek Getaway! Especially the creek access! House was very cozy and clean, made me feel right at home. Yard was huge, enjoyed the shade of the big cottonwoods in the afternoon and went to Pitkin for dinner. (Highly recommend). Would stay again in Hearbeat! Can't wait to come back!

We really enjoyed our stay at the cozy cabin in Pitkin, Colorado. Everything was so nice & clean. And well organized. My only complaint would be that cell service is spotty & no cable TV. But, the town people are really friendly & we met many new people while we sit on the front porch & they were walking by. I would definitely stay here again

This little cabin was an absolute gem! The views were breathtaking - truly some of the best we've ever experienced. Waking up to that scenery every morning was such a treat. The wood-burning stove added a perfect touch of warmth and ambiance, especially on those chilly evenings. It was the perfect place to unwind and reconnect with nature. We can't wait to come back!

Our group of friends stayed at this beautiful house to use as base camp for sxs riding. We loved it! It feels secluded, but is a short drive to town. We spent time at the fire pit, enjoyed the views from the deck, and the roads that are part of the development are great for morning walks. The hosts answer ed questions I had about the area quickly-and happy to say with their guidance, I found Fairview Peak and hiked to the top! Pitkin is a lovely, quiet town, and make sure you hit the Stumbling Moose and the Silver Plume Store. We’d stop for ice and incidentals each morning and loved visiting with the young couple that runs it as well as the locals who would gather on the porch each morning. The only hang up we had was buffering internet while watching the Chiefs game, but a quick call to Kathy fixed the problem. The WiFi isn’t very strong, but that’s ok because you’re there to enjoy nature! Highly recommend staying here and hope to return!

Book this cabin!!! We absolutely loved Buzzard’s Roost and its wonderful property manager and hosts. Pitkin is Colorado’s biggest gem. It’s rare to find a place where the surroundings are as incredible as its people—but this community is set apart and will forever be our home away from home. This beautiful cabin is in perfect proximity to the fishing pond, playground, Silver Plume General Store etc. The cabin was very clean, well-stocked, and peacefully located near the creek (with ample porch space to enjoy it all). We absolutely adore Marble, and this cottage was great for a weekend filled with hiking. It’s literally right beside the Raspberry cafe and inn, so you can wake up and grab breakfast before you go out. Super comfy beds and clean space. Would stay again!
