Private getaway on the shore of Lake Geneva outside Lausanne

We stayed in a spacious accommodation spread across four floors, featuring one bedroom on the ground floor and another on the second floor. The property is conveniently located just a 1-minute walk from a small train station, making it relatively easy to reach—especially if you're arriving via a larger hub like Montreux. However, it's important to note that while the location is scenic and peaceful, the nearby train station is very small and there are no shops in the immediate vicinity. We arrived late and hadn't realized that basic shopping (e.g., milk, butter, kitchen roll, hand towels for the kitchen) needed to be done in advance or in a larger town. Future guests may want to plan ahead and stock up on essentials before arriving. That said, the mountain views and tranquil setting

We were there with the family and the grandmother. The house offers enough space for everyone :) The location is awesome; in 2 minutes at the lake (via the meadow). Large terrace with morning sun! We made the trip with public transport. That's possible, the bus runs every hour in both directions. Without luggage, the station can be reached in 20 minutes, with luggage it is more like 30 minutes.

We had a wonderful 3-night stay at this lovely Airbnb cottage. The location was peaceful and scenic, yet just a 30-minute drive from popular destinations like Interlaken and Lauterbrunnen. The host family was incredibly warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. They were also extremely responsive and attentive to any amenity requests, which made the stay even more comfortable. If visiting in summers, it would have been more comfortable if they could provide with fans in the rooms. Overall, it was a very pleasant and memorable experience — would highly recommend staying here to anyone visiting the area!

Julie's place is a wonderful cozy nook at the top end of an already beautiful village. It's a place that has a lot of personality and it's the only AirBnB we've booked twice so far. They've done a great job at improving the place since we last visited, two years ago. There are social events happening in the garden from time to time and there's even a buffet now - not always open, but definitely worth trying out. I can't recommend the place enough. We spent 2 night and hiked up to Mont Noble in one of the days. Mase is already a quiet village with not much happening so bear this in mind. If you're looking for some peaceful time, this is definitely the right place.

We spent 5 nights at Jürg and Rachel’s apartment, and it was simply amazing. They were incredibly helpful and kind. The setting is beautiful, with a breathtaking view of Lake Thunersee, and there are plenty of hikes to enjoy in the area. The place is peaceful and cozy — I highly recommend it. Don’t hesitate to go and enjoy nature to the fullest!

Beautiful apartment that is well located and pleasantly quiet. The decor (furniture, beds, kitchen, etc.) is perfect in my opinion. Very good place to take a break and spend quiet days. We had a wonderful time in your home. First and foremost the house itself: so beautiful, soothing, tastefully furnished and very cozy. We felt right at home there and also our children played there for hours. And then that view, I can't imagine this ever getting used to. In addition, it is also a super nice region, every trip we were amazed by the beauty of the region. It was a really successful vacation! We would love to come back here again.

David is responsive, caring and easy to communicate with. It is a magical place, eco-co-responsible, conducive to disconnection, walking and for those who wish introspection. One of the best places I have lived.. in the lap of mountains. Awesome views, Bali styled houses, calm. you feel like not to go anywhere and just spend the whole day looking the at the mountain. on of my best AirBnB experience!!

We had an unforgettable stay at this small wooden Finnish house, full of charm and originality. The central barbecue gives a warm and unique atmosphere, perfect for sharing a good meal. The bed is very comfortable, we slept like babies! Fabrice is a welcoming and caring host. The icing on the cake: direct access to the forest just behind the accommodation, a real timeless moment in the heart of nature. I would highly recommend this exotic experience!
