Holiday rentals with breakfast in Lake Saint Clair

Michelle’s place was a great home base for us. Lots of space for a family of four, and an easy drive to lots of restaurants, museums, and downtown. A charming historic home with an authentic feel.

What a joy for this former Detroiter to bring friends to such a lovely, comfortable home in a perfect downtown location. Tyson was extremely responsive and proactive, friendly and gracious. The home was well-stocked with far more than any I’ve rented before. Will certainly return when the opportunity arises.

I was very happy with the scenery, calmness, location and comfort of the house. Hosts are as described, helpful and very responsive. They we're easy to work with and try to make the stay as good as possible. Would definitely stay here again in the future.

Chris was very responsive with any issues we had and took care of everything we needed quickly and efficiently. We would definitely rent this house again next time we're in town. Great home, we felt right at home. We loved the area. The neighbors were extremely friendly and near some beautiful parks. The host answered us very quickly and was great help when looking for things to do. I would definitely stay here again.

The decor and space of the home was cozy and very comfortable. Cheryl was very kind and left breakfast for us! We thought the treehouse would be a little closer to the house, (about an acre away from the main house) so my adult kids were not happy about being in a separate space entirely, especially with no bathroom. I thought it was darling though.

Dorothy is a wonderful host! She’s the type of host you hope you’ll get when you’re booking through Airbnb. Very friendly, understanding, and responsive! We had a few questions and needed some items during our stay and she went above and beyond to help. She also provides snacks and food, and there’s cute decor in the house which adds to the homey feeling. Beds are comfortable and shower has good water pressure and water stays hot. Lovely fenced in yard with deck to eat out on, and the place is easy to find and very close to downtown Plymouth. We felt very safe and comfortable here and will look for Dorothy’s other airbnbs in the future!

We loved staying here! The location was great, within walking distance of downtown Royal Oak. The hot tub was a great way to relax at the end of the day!

Great stay and wonderful host!

We needed three bedrooms for our stay, and Ian offered two separate units: the Zen Suite (one bedroom) located above the Cook Suite (two bedrooms). Each suite has its own separate entrance, which was OK with us. Both suites were clean and comfortable, and I particularly liked the interior design. The Zen Suite also had a hot tub on the large patio, which was a highlight of our stay. Check-in was easy. There's a nice grocery store just across the street and several restaurants within walking distance. We enjoyed our stay!

Stayed for a night and caught a show at royal oaks theater. I couldn’t not recommend this spot more. A few bucks more than a hotel room but so worth it. Insanely close to so many things, great spots to eat and drink, a market next door, quiet neighborhood. Very comfortable and private inside, cool basement vibes.

Perfect, beautiful place for our visit! Close to lots of things to do, places to eat, but just far enough away to be quiet. Darling neighborhood. Jerilynn was always quick to respond, very professional, and friendly.

Stayed for a month at Kennedy’s place and it was absolutely wonderful experience with her. Always very responsive and proactive! She even brought us an Air Fryer that was listed but wasn’t there and she brought it right away! Excellent host!

I loved the Bondy House experience. Great location, in walking distance to anything that is enjoyable in Amherstburg. Would definitely stay there again in the future.

Janine and Steve were wonderful hosts. My partner and I decided to travel to Michigan for the last weekend of the Michigan Renaissance Festival with our dog. We didn't end up arriving until late in the evening, but both Janine and Steve made sure to welcome us warmly. They provided amazing breakfasts for our short stay and made sure to make it personal to us, plus they were fun to chat with and we had great conversations getting to know them. It was a very lively stay with all their animals too. The home was cozy and the hospitality was unmatched. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a warm, welcoming, and pet-friendly getaway!

This is the second time my fiancée and I have visited for the Bird Festival and stayed at Angela’s. The space is clean, spacious, and peaceful! Everything you could need for a comfortable stay is thoughtfully provided. Not to mention the delicious breakfasts! Angela was very accommodating despite our odd schedule. Genuinely could not recommend it enough - we will certainly be returning.

One of my favorite Airbnb’s I have ever had the pleasure of staying at. Upon Arrival we entered this charming little suite to find FULLY stocked amenities. The smell of the place was fresh and clean, it didn’t just smell that way it felt that way too! We wanted to leave the place as such so we did! They care about the experience their guests have. The hot tub was super relaxing and clean as well. They have a chalk board with many reccomended places from dining to entertainment. I was very saddened we only had time to stay one night. The bed was comfy and the layout of the entire place is so “vacay rental friendly” meaning everything is easy to find and navigate! Thank you hosts!

Our stay at Mary's home was lovely! We were celebrating our 34th wedding anniversary with our first time driving an ATV at a nearby ORV park, and the location of her house was perfect. We got to enjoy our driving and take advantage of historic downtown Holly! The quiet neighborhood where her home is located is beautiful and inviting, and it's just a few streets down from the shops and restaurants of the downtown area. Mary's breakfasts were delicious, and the room was spacious, well-decorated and private. If you're looking for a wonderful place to get away for a few days, Mary's home is perfect!

100% would recommend for all especially music lovers! Fabulous place with excellent vibes ~ very glad to spend our special occasion here ~ wonderful to listen to our favorite music through world class speakers and to sleep in the quiet of a sound damped studio! Grand piano is an amazing instrument, every inch of the place was made with love.

Loved our time here and hope to be back. Wonderful hosts on a beautiful property. Peaceful trails, happy chickens, lovely breakfasts. Plus easy driving distance to many restaurants, breweries, stores, etc.
