Welcome to "Cabin on Swede Hill". Our family has farmed this land since 1871. My great grandparents, Swan and Johanna Johnson immigrated to America in the 1860's, found this land which was similar to Sweden. They raised their family here. Approximately 65 Swedish families settled in this community, became to be know as the "Swede Hills". We just received the Hoosier Homestead Award from Indiana celebrating the Sesquicentennial Award. This is a smart home with Ring db, lights and thermostat controlled by your voice. We are less than an hour drive from downtown Chicago, and there are many great beaches nearby. Shopping and great dining options are also within a close drive.

Less than 10 minutes from Indiana Dunes National Park and Lake Michigan, our beautiful log cabin sits on 2 acres while still being in the heart of Portage! Our large front deck overlooks state land giving a beautiful, private view out of our large windows. Our cozy cabin has 3 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms with fun, thoughtful touches for your family including video game consoles, movies, books, a LOT of games, a pool/ping pong table, 2 fire pits, and more! The Hideaway

This Christian friendly cozy cottage, located 30 minutes from Chicago is located on a private 3 acre property. It’s a private detached cottage from main house that sleeps four. One king size bedroom (2 air mattresses) (sheets supplied), large full bathroom with deep tub w/ handle (towels supplied), full kitchen (dishes, pots and pans ect supplied) private covered parking and yard (directly in front of cottage) w/ its own fire pit for enjoyment. No plug for electric cars (station 2 m away).

Private Cottage in Gated Nudist Community

We offer a private cottage on the grounds of Lake O the Woods Club. Cottage has Queen size bed, air conditioning, heater, refrigerator, microwave, TV, coffee maker, work/dining area, private deck and porta-potty. Payment of club daily grounds fee ($30-$60) is mandatory. Pricing on club website. There is no running water in the cottage. Bathrooms, showers, hot tub, sauna and swimming pool are available at the clubhouse and pool area . The cottage is sanitized after every rental.

The Pool Barn offers a great location & unique experience. 1 hour from Chicago & less than 10 minutes from large sand beaches & hiking trails of Indiana Dunes National Park & Indiana Dunes State Park. pool, hot tub, grill, firepit, playground, & we are on hike/bike trail. Inside is ping pong, air hockey, darts, popashot, foosball, board games, large smart tv, 6 beds, couch, & full kitchen. *pool table is currently broken due to guests attempting attempting to move it*

100 yds from the beach, the cozy MERMAID SWEET awaits you and is well suited for a young family or 2-3 adult friends. Visit local restaurants, shops & galleries. Hike wooded trails & swim by sandy, dune-grass beaches. . House-trained dogs welcome! Sorry no cats (allergies)

Private guest house newly remodeled. One bedroom queen bed, bath w/shower, full kitchen stocked, including microwave and Keurig coffee maker pods included, family room TV, and WIFI. No matter if you are in town for work, sport competition, family or just vacationing we offer all the comforts of home. Air Mattress available upon request. Please treat as your own home, follow all house rules. No party or gatherings. This is a no smoking home.
