Wonderful peaceful stay with Huber and his lovely family. Farming, making bread, learning about the community. We highly recommend also doing the kayaking experience and boat trip to the reed islands with Huber. Very good value for money all round with those two excursions and the lunch and evening meals added to the very reasonable cost of the room. :) highly recommended, thank you so much Huber!

My boyfriend and I had the most wonderful weekend staying with the Cristobal family. The whole family including their son was so welcoming, from taking us to see beautiful places on the island to cooking us delicious meals and being very patient with our bad Spanish!! Our room was really comfortable with a beautiful view and having meals overlooking the lake every day was a real treat. The stars at night were one of the most amazing things I've seen. Irene makes beautiful knitted goods which you can buy and Sergio and Lider were excellent guides, answering all our questions about the island and teaching us some Quechua. We cannot recommend enough visiting Amantaní and staying with the Cristobal family, it has been a highlight of our trip to Peru.

El alojamiento es simplemente increíble. Con una ubicación privilegiada, lo recomiendo totalmente. Además de ello Yoel te viene a buscar al puerto en una barca muy bien preparada, un anfitrión muy atento. Pedimos que nos trajera la cena y vino calentita además de deliciosa. Sin duda volvería a repetir

Nous avons passé un superbe séjour au Lodge flottant d’Edouardo. Nous voyageons avec nos 3 enfants et nous avons adoré cette expérience. Le Lodge est cosy, propre et très lumineux. La nuit il y a une belle vue étoilée par les baies vitrées. Édouardo est très accueillant, il est venu nous chercher en bateau à l’embarcadère. Sa femme et lui proposent le dîner du soir au lodge, dans un cadre très atypique, la vue est belle et le repas est très bon. Leur petit déjeuner est également varié. Dans le lodge, il y a douche et toilettes sèches. Tout a été bien pensé pour le confort des voyageurs. Nous recommandons chaleureusement ce lodge qui offre une superbe expérience sur ces îles flottantes du lac.

The Uros lodge is an amazing place! It is situated at the edge of Lake Titicaca, but away from the rest of the Uros community, so it is quite private. The hosts are very personable and took us on a tour of the Uros community on the other floating islands before going to the lodge...we even tagged a long to pick up their child from school which made it all the more special (quite a different school pick-up line than we'd ever seen before!). But don't expect it to be like a luxury hotel...it's more like glamping; water is carefully conserved, as is electricity. The meals are simple, but of high quality and generous portion sizes. If you want a quiet, beautiful place to relax and do as little as possible, this is the place! It was the highlight of our trip to Peru.

Celia place was extremely peaceful and exactly as pictured! She was helpful with arranging transport to and from Uros Island , and also including a tour around the community of Uros. She provided a simple but good breakfast, and lunch and dinner options for an additional cost. The only con was the water pressure was extremely low although it did get hot. Overall if ever in the area again I would definitely book again!
