Holiday rentals with a patio in Lake Victoria

I had the pleasure of staying at this apartment in Uganda for three weeks, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The location was excellent—convenient, safe, and situated in a lovely neighborhood. The apartment itself was perfect for two people, well-equipped and very comfortable with nice balcony. A special thank you to Patrick, the owner’s brother, who truly made the stay exceptional. He was always available, incredibly kind, and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. Anytime I needed something, he was just a phone call away and always happy to help. His attentiveness and friendliness made a big difference in our overall experience. The property felt extremely safe and secure, with surveillance and guards on-site, which gave us great peace of mind throughout our stay. Overall, it was a wonderful experience—clean, cozy, and very well-managed. I would highly recommend staying here and would definitely return. Thank you again for an amazing stay!

A gem of an apartment tucked away in a compound with stunning balcony views of the botanical gardens It was so comfortable with satellite TV, Wifi and a small but very functional kitchen. The whole place felt like home from day one Rebecca was a great host responding quickly to any queries as was Conrad (caretaker/housekeeper) who helped brilliantly with day to day needs. Thank you both!! Whilst serene and seemingly remote the apartment is ideally placed, less than a 10 minute walk from Victoria mall and there are dozens of restaurants and bars within a short walk Simply the best

Christine is such a responsive host who keeps in touch with the guest from the time of booking until checkout. Her place is exactly what one sees, colorful interior that sparks creativity but with a feel of relaxation and refresh. It's quiet and homely. She went out of her way to provide items which I had forgotten to buy from the store. I look forward to my next stay.

The Building and unit is very modern and clean. It’s great value for someone who wants comfort and value. I would qualify it for 1-2 people, 3 would be a bit cramped. The host is very pleasant and will attempt to resolve any possible issue, that arises. There’s a great Fruit/Veg. Stall on the next corner, where the High School is. Panama Supermarket is about 1KM away. Lugogo Centre and Acacia Mall are 10-15 mins by Uber (10,000 UGX or $2.75 USD) Good Restaurants are also 10-15 mins away Recommendation: Sunday Brunch at Latitude 0 Hotel This is about 30 mins away, and well worth it) (30,000 UGX or $7.50 in Uber)

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Mike’s place! The space was wonderful, clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed. Mike was a fantastic host—very responsive, welcoming, and made sure we had a smooth check-in. His support staff was also great, always available if we needed anything.

Winnie’s place is super cozy and has a beautiful night view. It is also very clean and aesthetic. Definitely worth it!

Ashley is the host you hardly forget about even after leaving her place -a beautiful human-. She ensured we had a pleasant stay at her place, welcoming us in person, ushering us into the apartment and providing recommendations on activities and restaurants to visit. She was proactive and always available to respond to our queries. The apartment looks same as in the pictures. The kitchen is well equipped and this really helped as we prefer to eat home cooked food. Everything was clean and neat. It will definitely be our choice next time we return to Kampala.

Clare's place is just what I needed in my search for a home away from home. It's easy to locate and is in an area near to all you could need in the form of amenities. She is very responsive and communicates promptly. I would definitely recommend her place and I look forward to being hosted again.

It was a nice apartment and compound. The security was friendly and helpful. I only wished the mosquito net in the main bedroom was functional; it would not close, and the washing machine would not work for me. Other than that, It would be hard to find a better two-bedroom, two-bathroom unit at this price point in Kisumu.

I was pleased with the stay. The rooftop has a spectacular view and the host was very attentive. I would stay again.
