Holiday houses in Lalas

We had a truly wonderful stay in Zakynthos. The house is in a beautiful, serene location—right in the middle of a natural reserve, which made for a peaceful and relaxing experience. Dafni Beach is just a beautiful walk and felt like a private little paradise. Our host, Mari, was amazing. From the moment we arrived, she gave us a warm and detailed welcome, and was always available throughout our stay with tips, local advice, and help with anything we needed. Her kindness and attentiveness really made the difference. Zakynthos itself is a fantastic island—don’t miss the boat trips to explore the coastline and hidden coves (Mari will organise it all!). We’re already looking forward to coming back!

Das Appartement gehört zum wunderschönen Haus mit Garten, das von Catherine und ihrer Familie bewohnt wird. Die Räume sind groß und schattig, vor dem Appartement kann man gut sitzen, einen Grill und Außendusche verwenden. Den berühmten Sonnenuntergang kann man durch die Büsche hindurch gut beobachten. Der Strand ist fußläufig zu erreichen: eine wunderschöne Bucht mit Liegen und Schirmen, wir haben sie durch den Kauf von Getränken bezahlt und waren hochzufrieden. Den viel größeren Strand erreicht man, indem man ein seichtes Flüsschen durchwatet. Dort gab es sehr viel Platz (außerhalb der eigentlichen Saison!!!)- Schirme und Liegen aber nur als Angebot für die Gäste des großen Hotels. Für Einkaufen und Restaurants braucht man ein Auto. Touristisch interessant ist vor allem Olympia - 30 Autominuten entfernt. Wir haben bei Catherine das gefunden, was wir gesucht hatten: Stille, gepflegte Umgebung, überaus warmherzig Gastfreundschaft. Dafür danken wir von Herzen!

We had a great time here. We enjoyed the view and silence at the house. Our son hat great fun playing at the beach, watching fish and crabs between the rocks. Being able to use the facilities (pool, super market, restaurant, bar, playground) of the neighboring camping site was very convenient. The interior is not super fancy, but pretty and functional with everything you need for a family holiday. The host, Soula, was very helpful and responsive and is not far away if necessary. She greeted us us with fruit, homemade tzatziki and cooled water so we felt at home right away. Thank you for the great time, Soula!

Welcome to a slice of Heaven!!!! Nikos’ Villa Nilena was just as shown in the photos and was quite well equipped. We were warmly greeted by Nikos’ father who gave a thorough tour of the home. The flowers, olive and citrus trees surrounding the property were beautiful and the view of the sea are extraordinary. It was so nice to wake up each morning and have coffee on the terrace, enjoy a fresh orange picked from the grove, then later in the day wander down to the beach and take a chair and umbrella at one of the local establishments. Beach side beverage service was also available. The nearby hotel serves yummy meals and there is another property that has a beautiful bar and restaurant. The fact that they were so close to the villa made our stay very enjoyable. We give this property our highest possible recommendation, and look forward to staying there again.

Eine Oase der Ruhe. Das Häuschen liegt in den Hügeln hinter Megalopolis. Es gibt dort die Lousious-Schlucht, wunderschöne Bergdörfer und eine tolle Aussicht. Da es Abends im Mai recht frisch ist, konnten wir uns mit dem Kamin aufwärmen.

One of the most beautiful Airbnb’s I have ever seen. The place was super clean, they even have staff that come in to clean while you are out. The view is unreal. The pool is amazing. Everything was exactly how you see in the pictures, but even bigger. The space was very big and comfy for 2 people. They also have us some snacks and fruit. Can’t wait to go back!

Gemeinsam mit unserem Hund hatten wir eine tolle Zeit in der Unterkunft! Die Unterkunft befindet sich in einem sehr ruhigen Ort, direkt am Meer. Es gibt in der Umgebung diverse Supermärkte und Restaurants. Wenn man möchte, kann man Ausflüge machen - hierfür haben wir vom Gastgeber ganz viele Tipps erhalten. Wir haben uns in der Unterkunft sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber war super. Auch die Familie vor Ort war sehr freundlich. Vielen Dank!

This was the absolute most peaceful, amazing stay. Our host is an absolute gem and you feel like you're visiting family. Wonderful "beach town" to walk, or bike around, supermarket near by and great restaurants and coffee shops. You will never want to leave!!
