Waterfront holiday rentals in Lamoille County

This was my second stay, and once again it was absolutely perfect. The host is incredibly kind and helpful—he goes above and beyond to make sure everything is just right. The property itself is straight out of a dream... right on the lake, peaceful, and beautifully kept. I’ve stayed at a lot of places, but this one feels like home—and honestly, it's my dream home. Can’t wait to come back again. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing, top-notch getaway.

Very tranquil place, very clean shower, comfortable bed, great amenities, lots of magazines and easy to use television. Very short distance from Montpelier. Nice bird variety, lovely flowers, you can hear the river from the apartment. Bridge is cool, river bank is fun, chairs outside.

What a lovely place! Carlene was gracious and warm, and answered all our questions. And the apartment is lovely and very comfortable. And the view out the wall of windows looks over Lake Champlain, offering superb views and still preserving privacy. The yard is large and immaculately maintained, and the nearby causeway offers a trail to bicycle and walk with the lake on either side. I would definitely come back here again. Note that the drive to downtown Burlington is lengthier than I anticipated--about 40 minutes, depending on time of day. However, the seclusion of this home by the lake is what made it so worthwhile.

We had the most fantastic stay with Sheila and Jeremy! The home was spotless and beautifully decorated. Sheila was a proactive and responsive communicator. But what stood out to us more than anything were the various thoughtful touches provided during our stay. We arrived late, after a long drive, and Sheila and Jeremy were there to meet us in person and help carry our bags inside. They had fresh muffins waiting and even left some snacks (cheese, crackers, grapes) in the fridge in case we hadn’t eaten dinner. They also provided coffee, tea, milk, honey, which was great in the mornings, and we so appreciated having access to the washer & dryer to do some laundry. Overall, we can’t say enough good things about our stay and we hope to return!

Had a great weekend at this house. It was close to the road but they provide sound machines for sleeping, but I didn’t even need it. Would definitely stay here again!

Perfect peaceful stay, close to Jay Peak and the Inn's restaraunt is right down the road. Right on the river, we enjoyed being able to do a polar plunge in the woods to start our day! Our pup felt right at home and it's a perfect place to stay anytime of the year

A fantastic stay with everything we needed! Cozy, quaint, and located right by an amazing river. One of my favorite feautures of this place was being able to hear the water from the rental! We enjoyed our vacation visiting the beauty of Vermont's landscape, while also spending some time in Burlinton

Krystal’s lake cottage was the perfect place to have a relaxing getaway!! It was clean and had everything we needed. We really enjoyed sitting on the deck looking out at the water. The beds were comfy. Krystal was very responsive to messages and reached out a few days before our trip with helpful instructions. We hope to come back in the future!

We had an amazing stay at this cozy cabin on the lake in Eden, Vermont. It was the perfect family getaway for us and our kids (ages 9 and 12). The cabin was super comfortable and had everything we needed, but the best part was definitely being right on the lake. We spent our days kayaking and fishing—non-stop. The kids had the best time and didn’t want to leave. It was peaceful, relaxing, and full of simple fun. Inside, the pool table was a huge hit with the kids and gave us something extra to enjoy in the evenings. The owner was incredibly kind, accommodating, and easy to communicate with, which made everything even better. You can tell they really care about making sure guests have a great experience. At night, we played games, relaxed, and just enjoyed the quiet. The whole place had a great vibe—cozy, clean, and easy to settle into. If you’re looking for a low-key, nature-filled escape with the family, this place is a total win. We’d love to come back!

I recently stayed at this beautiful home with two friends for my birthday celebration, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience! The house was absolutely stunning—spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, and incredibly comfortable. The beds were especially comfy. Our hosts were so accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed for a perfect stay. The peaceful surroundings and cozy atmosphere made it a truly special getaway. This place is worth your stay, it was beautiful smelt fresh as the cleaner did amazing, I felt like I was at home the nice quite outdoors for my family to relax and see the view of lake Eden! Thank you for letting my family enjoy our stay, we will be back!

We absolutely enjoyed our stay. What a beautiful house! You needed of nothing. The house was so nicely decorated, very clean and so comfortable. You felt right at home. Spacious and so peaceful falling asleep in the most comfortable beds listening to the river running by. Blake and Becca were so helpful and we enjoyed all their suggestions for restaurants and activities around Stowe. We definitely recommend their home and we cannot wait to come back. We are repeat visitors and loved our stay again. The home and property are wonderful for our annual group trip. It is away from the crowds of the mountain and downtown Stowe, but yet so close. The view, the natural surroundings, the privacy make it just the escape we need. The space has lots of separate areas so kids can and adults can all find areas to play, read, watch something on TV, stare out the windows, or cook and hang out in the kitchen. It checks all our boxes.

Overall great stay! Location was perfect, lots of restaurants and stuff to do within walking distance. Beds were very comfortable and appliances were in great shape. Easy parking. Would stay again.

The view of the lake is so serene and having access to it on the property was quite the bonus feature. My family knew it was too cold to swim but we were looking forward to the calmness of it all. Dominique let us know that she'd be around the last night of our stay which was a nice heads up in case we heard any noises in the main house above. They were very quiet neighbors! We took a trip over to Cold Hollow Sculpture Park during the day to visit during their last open weekend of the year which was a nice way to see some art and the surrounding landscape. Maybe next time we'll get a bite to eat somewhere but we had everything we needed to prepare meals so we mostly stayed put this time around. We'd love to stay again next time we're looking for a VT getaway if they'd have us.

My husband and I stayed in National at 1854 House and we loved it! It was exactly as described, and Sarah was a terrific host. Everything was very clean, she was quick to respond, left detailed instructions about all the unit had to offer, and even gave us some local recommendations. The bed was comfortable, the view was great, and the swing in the living room was a wonderful extra touch. The location was perfect for exploring all of northern Vermont. We couldn’t have asked for a better trip. We would absolutely stay in National again. Definitely recommend!

Spacious and well supplied, comfortable bed and relaxing back porch. Host’s were very accommodating and responsive. Walkable to town or short drive to attractions. Others have noted hearing occupants in the upstairs condo this was not an issue for us, we slept soundly. Would stay again if in the area.

We enjoyed this condo! Bright, comfortable, great condition, nice design, very good amenities including condo pool, hot tubs, tennis courts, recreation center. Close to Sugarbush. Easy shuttle.

Very comfortable stay - convenient to ski wither Sugarbush or Mad River. Philip sent specific instructions for turning the heat up on arrival. It took a little while to warm up, but individual thermostats in LR and BR worked nicely. Local recommendations for restaurants and such were spot on.

What a hidden gem in northern Vermont. If you are into skiing, this spot is convenient to access Jay Peak and other great resorts. Regarding the property, our group felt right at home surrounded by a beautiful space with small walking trails and the constant roaring of an amazing waterfall. The space was fully equipped with everything we needed and even more. Completely recommended, you will not be dissapointed.

Perfect place for some escapism. Such fresh air and the scenery is breathtaking. Close by to a cute town with some really good local eats. Would absolutely recommend for a weekend getaway.
