House holiday rentals in Lancaster County

Our family and friends had a lovely time in Cynthia's home. The setting is very pretty, the dock was a great place to fish and crab from and the beach offers another great hangout spot. The added bonus is that her home is just a 10-minute walk to a cute little restaurant in a marina with great oysters and cocktails.

This is both a gorgeous and comfortable home! The panoramic views of the water just make you smile from the moment you wake up! We visited over New Year’s and enjoyed the outdoor fire pit (great for s'more's!) with views of beautiful holiday lights at night. It was great for unplugging and enjoying family time cooking, playing games, and watching movies and sports . The hosts were very friendly and responsive. We hope to be back again in the future!

Spotless. Well equipped. Quiet, shady gorgeous location. Outdoor dining right off the kitchen was a definite plus!! Farmer's market on the 1st Saturday of the month was fun. Plenty to do and plenty of space to stay and play/relax at our temporary 'home'. Can highly recommend.

My family and I had a terrific stay. The house was very accommodating, clean, and comfortable. Allison was a great help and responded quickly to every inquiry. The outdoor space is great - we used the fire pit every night and I brought my boat and kept it at the dock. We would definitely stay here again!

The house was in immaculate shape with all the necessities provided, all furnishings/appliances were new and the beds were comfortable. The pool and view was outstanding. Three different cooling zones kept the house cool. The dock was really nice. The pool was really large and very nice. What we liked: My daughter said she really liked the big dining room eating and looking out at the pool and the water. One son said hes bringing the boat next time. Another son said the bay location was exceptional. The son in law said the dock was awesome and he could have spent all the time there. My two daughter in laws and Wife said the interior was so comfortable and the pool was great. I like it all, the house was the nicest rental house I have stayed in over the last 40 yrs, the furnishings, the beds, pool and the Dock made it a wonderful place to stay. It was obvious to me that the owners truly care about their rental and they want you to have a nice stay. This is a really nice!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Our stay at this Airbnb was absolutely fantastic! The highlight was definitely the beautiful, sparkling pool — perfect for relaxing and cooling off after a day of exploring. The place was spotless, stylishly decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The host was super responsive and made us feel welcome from the start. The location was convenient with great nearby spots to eat and shop. We can’t wait to come back — highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway with all the amenities! Barbara was a great host and very communicative. I would definitely stay here again!

My family has an amazing stay. The view never got old and it was so wonderful seeing the different colors in the sky throughout the morning and evening. We even had a double rainbow! The dock was awesome, I even jumped in the river! It was clean but a little shallow (about 4 ft at low tide I think). The pool was unreal! So clean and fun. Our family spent hours swimming and playing and laughing! Loved the screened in porch too, was so cool during the storm! Highly recommend! There isn’t a diving board on the pool that was seen in the photos and there were a few minor things that could be fixed but nothing that stopped us from having an amazing stay.

This was such a beautiful, clean and spacious home! We were able to bring our boat and tie it to the pier. We used the saltwater pool and screened porch a lot. The kitchen had every tool we ever needed, and we cooked often. There was an abundance of pool and bath towels. The hosts thought of everything and were wonderful communicators. We would absolutely return!

This is such a beautiful location and Corey was such a great host. We will probably be heading back especially as the weather gets warmer.

Karen was very quick to respond to our questions. The house was lovely. There were canoes, kayaks and water boards for the family to use. Baby pool for the kids. Fishing and crabbing was great entertainment for all. Kitchen well stocked with anything you needed.

To start, the house and property was beautiful. The private doc, water toys and yard games were great and made the weekend very fun. The location was very remote and quiet and gave off glamping vibes. Easy check in and no crazy asks for check out instructions. Make sure you bring bug spray, and also note there is an extra $500 “hold” after booking on top of normal fees.

Victoria and her Husband are fantastic hosts, the Home was in great condition, she indicated they did all the work themselves on the home and they should be PROUD! Visiting family in the Kilmarnock area was made so easy and cozy in their space.

Our stay at The Pyle Inn in Irvington was absolutely perfect! We decided to take the family on a last minute getaway within a few hours and were very excited to see Nikki's home available within our search. The home was even more beautiful than the photos—charming, very clean, and thoughtfully decorated with everything we could possibly need. From the cozy furnishings to the well-equipped kitchen and peaceful outdoor space with a jacuzzi, we felt right at home. The location was ideal: quiet and serene, yet just a short walk or drive from town with great local restaurants. We especially loved the mornings spent sipping coffee on the porch and the peaceful evenings in the backyard with or without the kids. Our host was incredibly kind and responsive, providing clear instructions and great recommendations. You can really tell how much care goes into maintaining the property and ensuring guests have a wonderful experience. No wonder why Nikki is a SUPERHOST! We will be back soon!

Our stay was everything we’d hoped for. So much thought has gone into anticipating guests’ needs and helpful signs are posted throughout the property to help guests use the plentiful amenities. The residence was clean upon arrival, and everything was in good working order. The house itself is beautiful and spacious, with up-to-date décor and appliances. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful getaway at this vacation home! It was the perfect place to relax and enjoy nature, with plenty of cute shops and charming spots to explore nearby. The house itself was very comfortable and well-suited for our family. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat.

This place was top notch!!! So much fun to be on the water- we kayaked every day. The outside space was so pleasant and charming on the deck- and they had fire wood available so we had a fire every night. The inside is clean and comfortable and one of the most well stocked kitchens we’ve had at an Air BnB. We all really enjoyed this place and Ashley was an excellent host and great communicator. Hands down would return.

Such a perfect end of summer trip as two families of four. We spent almost the entire time outside, using the standup paddle boards at our small private beach, which is less than half a mile from the house and really easy to get to. The kids had so much fun, feeding the pigs and visiting the cows. We brought the kids bikes as all of the little back Roads were really fun to navigate, the kids said they would love to go back! The hosts were excellent, delicious ciders for the adults right next-door and we got ground beef and steaks from them for both the nights We were there to grill out.

What an incredible home! The setting was magical and the space has everything you need. The kitchen is so well stocked and there are so many thoughtful touches. Rolled beach towels in baskets, helpful signs, kayaks, cheese boards…. We had a wonderful stay. I would highly recommend!

This is a lovely, warm and welcoming home, complete with great views of the water from the back of the house. We loved sitting out on the dock and watching the boats and the kayakers go by. The house was very clean and comfortable, well stocked with essentials, and the layout was great. Kirsten was very communicative and my family and I sincerely enjoyed our stay and appreciate her hospitality!

The Greek theatre is a beautiful unique home! The house was very clean and had plenty of space for our group! Carrie was great host and very helpful. The house is in a great location close to great places to eat and shop in white stone but still felt very private and peaceful. Will definitely be back to visit more of the northern neck.
