Kelly’s comfy stay was perfect for our weekend trip to the Porkies. It was our first time visiting, and it was very convenient having a place to stay just 20 minutes from the park. The house was spacious with plenty of bedrooms and a relaxing living room. A tip for new travelers to the area, the few available restaurants close at 8pm. Our first night we lost track of time hiking until sunset (9pm) and found ourselves out of luck for food. Thankfully the kitchen was also very functional, allowing us to make a meal with some non-perishables we brought. One negative about our stay was that the dryer stopped producing heat. However, Kelly was quick with her communication and sent her husband to take a look the same day. Although the problem was never ultimately solved during our time there, it did not affect our trip in any way. I highly recommend this great stay. The Porkies will not disappoint!

We loved our stay! Michelle was a very responsive, friendly & even let us check out a little late. Loved having a sauna in the basement, of course it takes a little time to heat up, as expected. Bed was comfy, kitchen had everything we needed and loved having coffee and some creamer provided! I didnt think it was gonna be as much of a neighborhood as it was, but I never saw a neighbor. Our dog loved the big back yard and having fires. Bikes were nice to have as well. It was about an hour in a half drive to Bayfield, where we hopped on the ferry to Madeline Island/Apostle Islands. HIGHLY recommend. Great hiking in every direction within 30 mins of the airbnb tho. really enjoyed our stay and hope to return someday. Michelle was truly one of the easiest, friendly and most accommodating hosts I've ever dealt with. Thank You!

What a beautiful little hideaway! We had an excellent time and really enjoyed the cabin and location and amenities, it was just perfect! Mike was so friendly and helpful and quick to respond. My husband and I had such a wonderful time!

My daughter and I stayed from May 25th-27th . We absolutely loved it from the kitchen to the living room and upstairs with all the lovely beds and the soaking tub was my absolute favorite . Very nice , clean home away from home . Kassi had everything we needed . Thank you again for a very lovely stay . We will definitely be back soon .

We were all in agreement, WOW! Value, cleanliness, convenience items on hand, great bed-bedding-towels, washer/dryer with detergent, more than we expected by a mile. This place was more than perfect for snowmobile trips and we'd expect the same for ATV-UTV'ing. Super responsive at all times and you can see the pride and ownership of this wonderful property.

We had a truly wonderful stay! The property was spotless and exactly as described—if not better. The kitchen was impressively well-stocked with everything we needed for cooking and grilling, which made meals so easy and enjoyable. I was especially surprised (and grateful) for the abundance of towels and blankets—such a thoughtful touch. The outdoor space was just as fantastic, with a beautiful deck, a cozy fireplace, and a well-maintained pier. The kids had an absolute blast using the kayak and paddle boards that were provided. We also loved the short walk into town, where we enjoyed great meals and delicious sweet treats. Christine was exceptional—responsive, warm, and incredibly attentive throughout our stay. We can’t recommend this place enough for anyone visiting Eagle River. We’re already looking forward to coming back!

Very quiet, comfortable and pet friendly! Hosts were amazing and very responsive to answering questions and accommodating any requests we had. Tiny little town, decent pizza next door. Beautiful access to trail to walk pretty much out the back door. Highly recommend!!

We had a great couple of days at Ty’s cottage. We loved the location, set back from the road, near the water, very comfy & cozy, and just beautiful with the fall colors popping! It was great to meet Ty — he’s very easy going & we had a nice chat. We would love to stay again sometime when we’re in the Eagle River area!

Perfectly situated to all the hiking spots, and easy drive up to Copper Harbor, were already selling points. The acreage, the lake (when you find it), were even better than expected. My dog had the time of his life exploring the property, which made for a nice change of pace after a strenuous day of hiking. Quiet, immersed in nature, it was relaxing, rejuvenating, and wonderful stay. Thank you!

Great place! Would definitely recommend & would stay again. The location is private, yet nearby town, tastefully decorated, clean, and beautiful setting. Host was wonderful, very responsive. Check-in & check-out, 100% smooth. This was our first rental with air bnb and was very impressed! The loft area in the cabin was adorable, along with the friendly deer that come around. Wish we had time to stay longer. Felt like a home away from home, but with a dash of tranquil magic. Even our 13 & 18 kids enjoyed, fun for all ages. Thank you! We will be back.😁

Amy's cabin was a perfect little getaway for a couple or small family. The nearby beach area was beautiful and Rhinelander was a short drive away. Amy and Tyler were communicative and left clear instructions.

We don't have a single complaint everything was as described. The view was fantastic and the setting was as if we were in the middle of the wilderness. It was quiet and the wildlife was amazing from loons, turtles, fish and frogs to beaver, deer, mink, and a diverse host of woodland animals. If you are looking for a Northwoods stay rich in wildlife, solitude, and serenity this is the place. A paddle on the Bay out back brings you into a world that is hard to find in WI without a long hike into a national forest wilderness lake.

The Bluebird house was perfect for our little family. It was clean, cozy and was exactly what we were looking for. We enjoyed the pier and having our boat docked for easy lake access. Our 5 and 6 year old had a blast catching small perch and bluegill off the pier and we enjoyed being just a few minutes from town. The enclosed porch was perfect for the cool nights! Johanna was a great host and we would stay at the bluebird house again!

Absolutely amazing! We went on a road trip with two friends and spent two nights at Dreamwood. Our goal was to find a secluded place—and this was exactly it. It was a rare and unforgettable experience! Everything was perfect: we found ourselves completely alone, surrounded by nature—an ideal setting to disconnect, recharge, and take our time. The cabin is located right in the Porkies, so hiking trails are just a short drive away. There’s also private access to a quiet beach and the views are absolutely breathtaking—especially at sunset. Tom and Sol were lovely and available when needed. We’ll definitely be back!

Danna' yurt was an absolute dream! Close to many restaurants, hiking spots, and beautiful views, while still feeling private and secluded. The yurt was thoughtfully decorated and delightfully cozy. Will definitely be my new go-to spot anytime I'm in the Northwoods. Truly such a gem.

This was a great place to stay for our end of the season ski trip. A close 2-minute walk to the chalet. There is a lift even closer, but it wasn't running, presumably because our stay was the last weekend of the ski season. The condo was clean, tidy, and had everything we needed. Beds were comfortable and cozy. Myron was super helpful and responded to messages within minutes. Being April, it wasn't cold enough to warrant using the hot tub, but it looked great. He offered to let us check out later since the cleaning crew wasn't arriving right at 11:00. Much appreciated! So much nicer to change in his condo rather than the chalet before our drive home. Looking forward to booking this condo again for our annual Michigan ski trip next winter!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful log home. It was wonderful to be able to unwind in a hot sauna after each day spent hiking in the Porcupine Mountains and in the Ottawa National Forest. As dedicated coffee and espresso fans we loved, loved the Jura. We also loved the large backyard fire pit, the well equipped kitchen, spacious rooms and the warm welcome our pups received. We would love to visit again.

Good spot, nice place for the price. We had a small mix-up with getting back in, but Tim was very responsive and got it handle immediately.

Hannah’s place was gorgeous, comfortable, functional and clean. The location was amazing for nature lovers although we were just as happy relaxing at the house! I definitely plan to return in the future because we had such a great experience.

This setting allowed me to qualify my stay in this airbnb and honestly for my family and I, 5 points doesn’t qualify how great was our experience, we considered it is a 10. Cara’s Airbnb is a beautiful place, cozy, clean, spacious. It is a mixture of luxury/rural cabin that provides the perfect environment for the most enjoyable stay. We will love to return to Wisconsin next year and definitely we will return to Cara’s place.

Great place. Close to porcupine mountains, short drive. Nice neighborhood, people were pleasant. House was big enough for 6 of us. We did not use the basement. Can’t say much about the basement. Overall great place and served us well. Enjoyed the stay.

Beautiful location, the pictures don’t do this place justice! Quiet place for a stay with your dogs. Lots of nature to enjoy in the surrounding areas. & some fun bars & food if you’re down for a bit of a drive. The only downfall was we felt the cabin was a little dirty with no products left out to clean with. We would still love to return in the future!

Elkstone was the second property we have rented through Adam. This was a great property for 6 people (even though you could easily sleep 10) 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and the most amazing kitchen table! It was perfect for us. I really enjoyed having the king bed in the master bedroom and felt it was very comfortable. We love the area because we have a summer place in a campground right around the corner. It was close to everything we needed yet felt peaceful and secluded at nighttime. We even got to see a coyote running across the frozen river. Always a pleasure renting from Adam and will definitely rent again when needed!
