A handcarved 22m2 room, digged in the mountain a hundred years ago. You will be dreaming in a comfortable 160x200 double bed. You will find a bathroom for your individual use, with a shower and a ecofriendly compostable dry toilet (a conventional toilet is available in the shared Bathroom if you prefer).
“Sleeping in a cave might sound rare, but it's actually something that the people of Gran Canaria have done in the pre-hispanic times for houndreds of years. In the 21st century we can somewhat relive the experience, although in a bit more modern way. The cave is still a cave with it's darkness and silence, but there is high speed WiFi, bathroom, a comfortable bed and stylish furniture. Besides the amenities, I need to mention the hosts as they are truly amazing! They care a lot about their guests and have some unique skills that they put in work. Baptiste is a trully great vegan chef and if someone is not convinced about sleeping in the cave, they should definitely come for the food! Altough I am myself a meat eater, I have much enjoyed his meals. Chantal is a yoga teacher and regardless of your level (I didn't have any previous yoga experience), she will find a way to make a class enjoyable. Overall, I couldn't be more happy. It was meant to be just a stay and became a full fledged experience. I recommend this Airbnb to anyone who looks for a great place to stay in Gran Canaria!”
Small and cozy apartment ideal for two people. Its tranquility and the relaxing sound of the sea help to disconnect and where the rest becomes very pleasant. From here you can access the entire north coast with its beaches and natural pools, the villages of medium, mountains and of course the entire island of Gran Canaria. ¡'Own essential vehicle' !! five minutes from the city of Gáldar and Santa María de Guía, where you will find all the services. Discover the north of Gran Canaria!
“A luxury if what you are looking for is to spend a few relaxing days. We spent 5 days at Olga's house and it was spectacular to wake up every morning listening to the waves of the sea. The house is as it appears in the photos, it has everything you need to spend a few days on the island and more! Because Olga is a super hostess, she prepared us a delicious omelette so that we could eat something on arrival, she is also very attentive and always ready to help. I would definitely recommend it to all those who want to visit Gran Canaria and stay away from tourist areas, yes, a car is essential. Enjoy Cliff House! :)”
En el exterior tiene un amplio patio con barbacoa, horno de leña y mobiliario apropiado para poder disfrutar de las preciosas vistas de la zona norte de la isla incluyendo sus playas y barrancos.
“This is a fabulous and unique house in the hills of northern Gran Canaria. We (a couple) stayed for 5 very enjoyable and comfortable nights. It is an ideal location for exploring the north of the island, of which there are some places to visit. That being said you definitely need a car when staying here, and we recommend a small one as parking is limited and a bit tight! It's true, the views from the terrace are stunning. Be aware the weather is a bit more changeable in the north of the island in general, but the terrace is a dream to sit and enjoy the sun, have breakfast, or lunch or BBQ...and relax. The house is well equipped, we feel it might be a little tight if there were 6 adults, but it was plenty big enough for us. We slept in Bedroom 1 and the bed was so comfortable and it is so dark and quiet you get a great nights sleep. The WIFI is very good, but just depends where you are in the house. We were given a warm welcome from Cristina and she was very helpful and kind. Overall we would recommend this interesting cave house with plenty of character!”
