Beachfront holiday rental in LaPorte County

We had an amazing time! Me and my boyfriend stayed for one night, the patio and dock were super cozy and we really enjoyed sitting out there at night just listening to music and having some drinks. Super nice area, the beach isn't too far and they have some fun bars and restaurants in the area. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay.

Good spot for a lot of people to stay and great proximity to the beach

This beach house was great for our family trip. It was clean and the living space gave us plenty of room to spend time together. It is a short walk to the beach which was beautiful. Only negatives were the pots/pans were less than desirable to cook with and the beds were very uncomfortable.

The host was very responsive and friendly. He gave recommendations on where to eat. The recommendation of a tiny restaurant named Cool Runnings ended up being a HIT SENSATION! I was HAPPY that he recommended the restaurant. The home is nestled in back at a dead end street. Nice neighborhood and quiet! Waking up to the view of the beach was great. Literally a 3 minute walk down a path will get you to the beach. That walk alone was definitely worth the money spent. I loved the arcade games. When visiting Michigan City again we will stay here. Had a wonderful time staying at Dunetop Escape! The owners were very nice and responsive. Very knowledgeable about the area and made some awesome recommendations. The house was spotless and very accommodating. The house has a lot of usable space and even more sleeping areas! Loved that they made beach days so easy as they had everything you may ever need. Will absolutely be looking to book this location again and look forward to exploring more of Michigan City.

We came with 8 ladies to celebrate a birthday! The house is beautiful, spacious, very clean! Kitchen is well stocked! Beds are all comfortable and it sleeps many! A king room, 2 queen rooms, a bunk groom that sleeps 8! And other pull out couches and futons! Lots of tv’s. So much room! The neighborhood is so cute and friendly. There is a fire pit with 10 chairs, and the pool right down the street! Kayaks and a golf cart! Lake Michigan is a short walk or golf cart ride right across the street from the neighborhood resort! New Buffalo is about 15-20 min away! I can’t wait to come back! This is the Perfect house for a weekend getaway with friends or a week long vacation with friends or family! I highly recommend this house to anyone and everyone! Book and enjoy! 😃

Everything was lovely! Thank you for the nice stay. It was so quiet and peaceful. The only minor thing is the kitchen did not have any oven mitts. But we managed. Thank you so much!

Our family loves staying at this great lake house. We’ve stayed several times and will keep coming back. The yard is fantastic, there is a private beach and a dock to keep your boat during your stay. Laura is an excellent host and very responsive and accommodating. Thank you Laura!

The place was great! We had 14 people, 11 being adults and the eating area had more than enough space to accommodate all of us comfortably. The 1st floor deck is larger than it appears in the pictures and the home came more stocked than we expected with bathroom and dish soaps, toilet paper, paper towels and laundry needs, all a bonus! We ate in for most of our meals but do recommend The Sugar Bowl for breakfast, the food and service were both great as well as Bubbles for an ice cream stop! The only negative, not having anything to do with the house itself, is the walk to and mostly from the beach. The dune coming back is quite steep and even with 3 fit guys, we had some trouble with the wagon and paddle boards (and us middle aged ladies, getting ourselves…lol) back up the dune. Would definitely stay here again though!
