It’s an excellent location, very nice apartment and caring, professional service. You pay a lot for the location and scarcity of such properties. The quality of the apartment is an excellent, modern 3-star level with kitchen. You pay a 4-5 star price. It’s a good enough deal for many obviously. Something to think about (not fully under control of the hotel), but rather of the community of business owners in Venao, which El Sitio is one of the proud founders (they’ve done a great job so far!), is the insane amount of road dust because of wide, unpaved roads. Don’t blame construction, it largely moved to other areas of Venao, many areas/streets are completed construction-wise. Put gravel, plant more grass, plants, pave eventually. It’s been 17 years of dust. And in the same Venao there are many paved internal streets. Makes a difference. Countless surf-towns in Costa Rica have managed to maintain rustic nature-first feel, without dust and with selective paving & planting.

We had a lovely stay at the apartment in Venao Azul. It has everything you need. A few dozen meters walk away is the beach and the club with the large pool. There is also a supermarket and several restaurant options nearby which allows for lighter travel. We recommend 100%.

We had a wounderful time. The appartment has an amazing ocean view next to the beach. We felt really being at home. Grace was always there to make our visit unforgetteabel. Thank you so much we will come back .

Great place to stay. Close to Playa Venao but gives you some peace and quiet away from the crowd. Very nice space all to yourself. Frances was amazing. Fantastic communication the whole time. Would stay again!

We had an incredible stay at Casa Azul! The location is perfect with a beautiful pool and the beach right out the door. It’s walkable to the main restaurants and stores, but quiet and private that you can really relax. The house really helped all of us relax and enjoy our time in Venao. Thank you! Will definitely be coming back again!

Bucaro is a beautiful village and its people are very friendly and attentive. Cristina was attentive to us at all times. The bathrooms, the kitchen, the dining room is very clean. The spectacular beach is very quiet and clean

Ana is the best host I’ve met! The house was clean and perfect for cooking and rest. A bit far from the center, 7-10 minutes walk. Very recommend.

This place was just what we need to de-stress. Close to the ocean you can hear the waves at night. Close to Pedasi Town you would need a car if you want to get around easily and explore the area. The beach house pool is great and so is the food great price. I highly recommend the place, Alison answered all our questions and recommended a place for us to rent a car if need. Mary and Andy. Spacious, comfortable, and perfectly located! This apartment in Venao was ideal for a relaxing stay. It had everything we needed, with plenty of room to spread out and enjoy. Just a short walk from the beach, highly recommended!

The sound of rolling waves provided a soothing backdrop throughout our stay. The well-appointed accommodation features an incredibly comfortable king-size bed with premium linens, ensuring peaceful nights of rest after days filled with beach activities and surfing. The modern, fully-equipped kitchen was a highlight, allowing us to prepare fresh local seafood and tropical fruits while saving on dining costs. Having this cooking space was especially valuable given Playa Venao's relatively remote location. The hosts went above and beyond with their hospitality, providing insider tips on the best surf spots, tide times, and local attractions. They helped arrange surf lessons with reputable instructors
