Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Latah County

This place fit our need perfectly! The host was fantastic, the house clean. The kitchen was well stocked, perfect for cooking our own meals. We enjoyed the espresso machine! We can highly recommend this place!!

Loved the charm of the house. Our family had a delayed Thanksgiving meal in the house and it was perfect. We all loved the wood stove and spent hours just talking and enjoying the crackle of the fire. It was so easy to go for walks and view all the amazing architecture of the neighborhood. Would totally stay again. Also, easy to get to the WSU football game.

My husband and I had a lovely and peaceful stay! We absolutely recommend staying here. Hosts are very responsive and kind. The place was super clean and very well stocked! Deary area is a favorite of ours. We recommend Pie Safe Bakery for breakfast and/or lunch! As well as a day trip to Elk Creek Falls for hiking and then stop in Elk River for huckleberry ice cream at the Elk River Lodge. Our favorite parts of our day was morning coffee on the porch and the evening cool breeze for sunsets on the porch! We will definitely stay again if we are back in the area.

Great place! Nice big house good for extra large families. We had plenty of extra room even though we had 5 kids with us. Beautiful location, lots of privacy and very friendly neighbors. Recommend!

We really enjoyed our time at Wolf Meadows. The accomodations were fantastic and the scenery was beautiful. Sarah is a responsive host that responds quickly. The venue was well organized with all the amenities you may need. We really appreciated the thoughtful welcoming note and pastries from the nearby town bakery! While there, we enjoyed viewing the local wildlife (turkey, elk) and the relaxing outdoor surroundings. A great respite from the daily grind of urban life.

Simple and historic home. Very cool place. Super close walking distance to several great restaurants in the downtown area. Clutter free, Clean and well- stocked. Friendly and responsive host. Definitely would stay here again.

This was such a cozy stay. The farm fresh eggs and the homemade chocolate banana bread was absolutely amazing. Beautiful property, quiet, peaceful and clean. It's clear that the owners take pride and joy in their home. I will definitely be staying here, again.

Down to earth, kind guy--helpful, chill, amiable. Neighborhood is right next to anything you'll need, room was spacious, house had no issues, all the etc. Would recommend.

We used this while we were at a softball tournament so we’re not there much. But, it was very clean and comfortable. If we would have had time to explore it was close to some cute areas that we could have walked to. Parking wasn’t ideal because spaces were taken by the time we arrived but we made it work. I would stay here again.

I would say the only negative thing that we found during our stay was when we first checked in and we weren’t sure that we were at the right house, there was no house number so that slowed us down a little bit and we had to pull the pictures out to make sure we were at the right place. The house is very warm and inviting it had everything that we needed to cook and clean and just spend time together Caleb and Priscilla were nice enough to let us have a photographer come in and take pictures of my daughter‘s pre-wedding while the bridesmaids were getting ready, which just worked out perfectly because the house was perfect for it such great lighting and charm. There was plenty of room in the house and everything we needed was there. We would definitely rent this house again.

This is the second time we have stayed at "The Swede." Our youngest is a student at WSU and it's perfect! Emily is a thoughtful and responsive host. The house is in a quiet family neighborhood and has everything you need for a great stay. We will be booking again soon. Thanks for another great weekend.
