We stayed as a family of five for six nights, and it was truly a special experience. The location is absolutely stunning — peaceful, beautiful, and full of charm. Although the weather wasn’t always kind, the warmth of the fireplace, the comfort of the sauna, and evenings spent around the barbecue brought so much joy and togetherness to our stay. What truly made it unforgettable were the hosts — kind, generous, and so welcoming. They made us feel at home from the very first moment. A heartfelt thank you also goes to their lovely, tail-wagging companion, who greeted us every day with pure joy and made us smile endlessly. We created wonderful memories here — laughter, late-night chats, and simple moments that we’ll treasure for a long time. Thank you for everything. We loved it and will absolutely be back.

Great experience, would totally recommend staying at the magical house. The sea was calm, so the house did not move too much. Had a lovely view of the stars!

Authentische Wohnung in einem ortstypischen, historischen Haus. Angenehmes Umfeld mit viel Wald, Ruhe und kurzem Weg vom Bahnhof und zum Meer; abseits der Gegend für Neureiche. Freundliche Gastgeber, die uns mit hilfreichen Tipps für die Gegend versorgten. Perfekt für ein paar ruhige Tage an der See.

The cabin is nice and spacious located in a beautiful forest. There are 4 cabins in close proximity with lot's of barbeque and fire spots as well as a playground for kids. There are chickens and goats and a dog on the campgrounds. It's a 5 minute walk to a paradise beach. For sure one of the most beautiful beaches we've seen in Latvia. Not a soul in sight. We were there in May and there were a lot of mosquitos around the cabin. Fortunately we weren't stung a lot. We had a great time.

Wunderschönes kleines Häuschen, 5min vom Strand entfernt. Der Naturpark Pape ist umwerfend. Gastgeber*innen waren sehr lieb und haben uns Tipps für Ausflüge gegeben.

Brīnišķīgs namiņš dažu soļu attālumā no pludmales. Ļoti izbaudījām! Liels paldies!

Mums ļoti patika mūsu mini atvaļinājums – apartamenti atrodas skaistā vietā pie jūras. Ļoti kompakti, tīri, gaiši, ir viss nepieciešamais dzīvošanai. Jūra tikai 5 minūšu attālumā. Teritorija ir plaša, ir restorāns, SPA, bērnu laukumi. Saimnieks vienmēr bija sazvanāms, ļoti atsaucīgs. Noteikti atgriezīsimies vēlreiz. Ļoti labi, ka var uzturēties ar mājdzīvnieku – mums ir mazs sunītis.

Great apartment

The property consists of two apartments in a brand new building; very contemporary and classy feel. Property is a 10 minute walk to an uncrowded white sandy beach. Located in a quiet area far from the highway where well-off Latvians have country houses. If you are looking for a quiet beautiful beach within a reasonable drive of Riga, this is the place. As you head further along the coast towards Riga, the beaches get more and more crowded and the towns more and more touristy. Jurgis is a great host and lives near-by. We would come back to this place.

Wir haben 16 tolle, ruhige, entspannte Tage in dem schönen Haus mit dem traumhaften Garten verlebt und jeden Tag genossen. Der Pool wurde von uns jeden Tag genutzt. Wir konnten von dem Haus aus in weniger als einer halben Stunde zu Fuß den schönsten Strand erreichen, den wir in Lettland besucht haben, dazu musste man nur einen schönen Spaziergang durch einen zauberhaften Wald antreten. Ebenfalls in einer knappen halben Stunde war Riga mit dem Pkw zu erreichen - oder in etwas mehr mit dem Zug - was wir vielfach gemacht haben. Das Haus, die Küche und die Bäder war mit allen Annehmlichkeiten ausgestattet, dazu sehr gepflegt und total ruhig. Die Sauna(s) haben wir im Sommer nicht einmal genutzt. Ein ganz toller Urlaub bei einer freundlichen und zuvorkommenden Gastgeberin. Vielen Dank!

Pavisam noteikti rekomendēju arī citiem ceļotājiem. Dzīvoklī ir viss nepieciešamais, lai komfortabli varētu uzturēties, sākot no virtuves piederumiem līdz pat higiēnas līdzekļiem vannas istabā. Par visu ir padomāts, lai uzturēšanās būtu komfortabla pat ja kaut kas ir aizmirsies no nepieciešamajām lietām. Kā arī saimniece ir ļoti jauka un pretimnākoša.

Wonderful place and extremly helpful host. Olga, the co-host, was guiding us through our stay. The place is small but very cosy. With some small touches and compliments. Definitely can recommend.

We had a lovely time in Ivo's Villa. Stayed with family there and it exceeded our expectations. The photos do not capture the real life beauty. literally steps from the sea and stunning views of the water. It was very well equipped with everything you would need in a holiday home. The rooms were bright and airy, kitchen is fabulous and there is lovely furniture and swings outside where we spent alot of our time. The children loved it there especially the sea and swings outside. Perfect for adults and also families. We would not hesitate in booking again. Ivo is a great host and met us personally on check in. Nothing negative to report there are excellent BBQ facilities for outdoor cooking. I can imagine it's stunning in the winter also but we had a lovely summer visit. Make a booking for this beautiful villa the best surprise was the sauna in the house!!

It was a pleasure to spend a weekend at Maris camp! It is a beautiful area, our house was so cute and the sea was so near! The whole camp is beautifully taken care of and we felt like in a dream :)

Hosts left us an anniversary gift. ❤️ Perfect location for walking. Restaurants and cinema nearby. Overall a great experience. However, there's no good grocery shops nearby. The loft's stairs are very steep and the loft's ceiling is around 1,4m high. Maybe that's just us but we expected to have a higher ceiling. Don't forget slippers!

Ļoti jauka mājiņa meža ielokā, pastaigas attālumā no jūras. Karstajā laikā liels pluss bija kondicionieris. Lai gan mājiņa ir neliela, tajā bija pietiekami plaša vannas istaba, ērts virtuves stūrītis. Saimniece Ramona sniedza noderīgus padomus par apkārtni un atpūtas iespējām, bija ļoti atvērta komunikācijai. Iesaku citiem atpūtu šajā jaukajā namiņā! :)

Das Tiny House war absolut perfekt für eine Auszeit vom Alltag. Die Lage direkt an der Küste war unschlagbar – morgens aufzuwachen und das Meeresrauschen zu hören, war einfach traumhaft. Das Haus selbst ist zwar klein, aber unglaublich gemütlich und bietet alles, was man braucht. Besonders beeindruckt hat uns die geschmackvolle und durchdachte Einrichtung, die den Raum optimal nutzt. Die Umgebung ist herrlich ruhig, ideal zum Entspannen und Abschalten. Wir haben lange Spaziergänge am Strand genossen und die frische Meeresluft in vollen Zügen ausgekostet. Trotzdem ist alles Notwendige in kurzer Distanz zu erreichen. Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich und aufmerksam, immer ansprechbar und haben dafür gesorgt, dass wir uns rundum wohl gefühlt haben. Wir können dieses Kleinod uneingeschränkt empfehlen und freuen uns schon auf unseren nächsten Besuch!

Charming, spacious and very well decorated. Has absolutely all you need, steps away from the beach. Vilma is a great host and extremely helpful if you need anything. Highly recommend.

Great location with private beach. You can use sups to swim around the lake. Very relaxing and quiet place. Host has a house close by, but during our stay nobody was there so we didn’t see a single person around. It was perfect getaway from city, people and technology. House has all you need, there is also a bbq grill outside.
