Holiday houses in Le Case di Sciano

This was a beautiful house that met our needs very well. What beautiful views of San Gimignano! It was like we were in the movie "Room with a View."

We had a super nice stay here. The location is very nice and the garden is nice and private, perfect for our dog. The pool is great and San Gimignano can be seen in the distance. We were also able to have a check for €50 until 6:00 pm, so we could take the night ferry to Sardinia. Thank you!

The apartment in Gambassi Terme was great: clean, modern and very comfortable. The quiet location in the middle of the beautiful Tuscan landscape invites you to relax, and excursions into the surrounding area are very worthwhile. I can especially recommend the Bar Centrale in the village center - here you can enjoy delicious snacks and drinks in a relaxed atmosphere and experience real Italian village life. Daniela and her husband were extremely friendly, always helpful and gave great tips for excursions and restaurants. We would come back anytime! <3

Absolutely fantastic, this was the most beautiful apartment we have ever stayed in. Beautiful furniture, clean bathroom, cool on hot days (has air conditioning), has a private hot tub on the private terrace with stunning views over the Tuscan countryside. Private parking in the middle of the courtyard. The apartment was even more beautiful than in the photos. Grazie Veronica!

We were two couples with a small dog. The accommodation was great for space. All the rooms are large and comfortable. The kitchen is very well equipped with two of everything you would need and thankfully no unnecessary gadgets or random inherited crockery. Mosquito screens on all windows. Garden and outdoor space place to eat. At the top of the building is a logia for those very hot days. Views are marvellous. Very friendly community. Walking the dog in the olive grove up the hill with views of the old town and San Gimignano, returning to the house alongside the vineyard. What more could you want? Very cheap trains to Pisa, Florence and Siena at Certaldo station five minutes away by car.

The property exceeded our expectations! The views of the rolling hills are outstanding especially under the pergola of jasmine flowers. The pool was wonderful. I cannot emphasize enough how peaceful this place is. The apartment is modern but looks authentic to Tuscany. I was able to work remotely with only a few issues on video calls at peak hours. The air conditioning in the house kept it cool and it is well insulated. The local town of Certaldo had several good restaurants and gelato. Giancarlo and Claudia were outstanding hosts. Highly recommend to stay here!!!

Wonderful little village, which still offers everything you need. Silvia is a very friendly and helpful host! The apartment has everything you need and the location is exceptional. My daughter and I felt very comfortable, almost as if we were part of Certaldo Alto for a few days. Although the village is very small, there are excellent restaurants on site. Antonella’s is a charming, quiet, and comfortable home in the Tuscan hills. We enjoyed many lovely meals on the deck overlooking the countryside during our two week stay. A car and a good navigation system are necessary here. Many small medieval towns, Florence, and the beaches are an hour or more away. If you park in one of lots on the outskirts of Florence, you can take the train or bus into the city to avoid parking downtown where it’s very crowded. The nearby towns, such as San Gimignano, Vinci, Deruta (the spot to buy pottery) all have public parking lots. If you appreciate quiet and quaint away from crowds, this is the place!
