Casetta Melograno – Cozy farmhouse in Chianti

This house is part of an old building recently refurbished and in the past was a convent which used to be a part of the castle estate located in front of us. The interior design reflects the typical Tuscan style of furniture and materials. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge, induction hob, microwave, coffee machine, sink and utensils. Available daily, for breakfast you will find coffee/tea, milk, biscuits and cakes. it's recomended to have a car to reach the accomodation and to move.

In meno di 10 minuti si possono raggiungere a piedi il Duomo e Ponte Vecchio. L’alloggio si trova a 20 minuti (a piedi o in autobus) dalla stazione ferroviaria di Santa Maria Novella .

The restoration maintained the original Tuscan architectural style of rural barns.

L'aia

The rural house or "Farmhouse" of the Podere di Belforte has ancient origins. Its roots are the history of the hills of Villamagna, where it was erected in the Middle Ages. The first attestations date back to 1200. The architectural structure, the various stone-cracks and the wooden architraves in the walls - brought back to view after the restoration - clarify its use as a Watchtower. In 1700, it was transformed into a farmhouse for agricultural use.

The Tower

The villa has a breathtaking view, is very sunny, well furnished and equipped with all amenities, quiet and not isolated. The house is located in Bagnolo, a small hamlet of Impruneta at the gates of Chianti, an area of olive groves, vineyards and peace. The house is about 10 km by car from the center of Florence.

The Terrace

The Terrace is formed by a double-room in two floors, recently completely renovated and decorated with style. It is located in Settignano, a small neighborhood 6 km from the center of Florence with bus n.10 which end of line is only 50 meters from the access gate of the house. In 15 minutes you can easily reach the center of the city. Beside the gate there s the bar Vida, always full of delicious pastries and fresh tramezzino sandwiches.
