The description corresponds to reality, it is only the bedroom plus the bathroom. Everything was clean and in good condition. We arrived a little later, because our plane was delayed. We arrived after the time we were supposed to arrive, but I warned the hostess beforehand and everything went well. She was very helpful and friendly. During our stay, I only saw the hostess at check-in and check-out. They are very discreet, but they made us feel at ease. If we go back to Maia, we'll stay there for sure.

marta was truly such a lovely host ! she was really flexible with check in time, allowing me to check in early. her instructions to get into the house were very clear also. she’s really friendly and i enjoyed practicing my portuguese with her. :) she provided me with a shower towel, face/hand towel, and a beach towel when i asked for one. her home is located in a quiet neighbourhood, walking distance to cafes, grocery stores, the beach, city park, transportation (subway + buses). getting around was really easy ! i definitely will stay here again in the future ! thank you marta <3

Our stay with David and Zinda was just wonderful! The hosts are super nice, friendly and helpful people. We felt right at home during our stay. It’s truly a unique place with a large beautiful garden and lots of sunlight. You get a feeling of peace and tranquility from day one. This is a dream stay for people who love animals, as the hosts have peacocks, chicken, geese, cats, dogs and even horses. They even allowed us to walk their dogs in a nearby forest which was wonderful. The kitchen is shared with the hosts, but you have a private wing of the house with your bedroom, bathroom and a beautiful living room with a garden view. If you plan to work remotely, I would recommend getting a LAN cable (5m) that you can connect to the router for higher internet speed. It’s possible to get an uber from the airport and also to get around during your stay but I would recommend getting a car to be more flexible. Within 15m by car you can get to the beautiful beach, grocery stores and a mall.
