A great base for exploring Central London, as well as neighbouring towns of Blackheath and Greenwich. It is less than a 5min walk to Lee train station (zone 3); it's then a short train ride to Central London (13mins to London Bridge or 26mins to Charing Cross). Lee itself also has a lot to offer in terms of restaurants and pubs (be sure to visit The Lord Northbrook at the end of the road).

Lovely loft with en-suite shower

My partner and I stayed at Garry and Cilene's place for 5 weeks. The place was cosy and clean, and it very easy to get to Central London via train (10-15 mins) from Hither Green station, which is a 10 minute walk from the house. The room we stayed in was also comfortable and cleaned once a week, however as it is a loft if you are tall you may need to do a bit of adjusting to the height in some areas like the bathroom. We also shared the kitchen and dining area, and it was easy to communicate with the hosts on what times were best to use the common spaces. Overall the hosts were friendly, accommodating and gave us great recommendations on where to visit around London. Make sure you walk to Blackheath and check out the Saturday farmers market!

Peaceful and private Easter break! Barbara (and her cat) were a wonderful host, I felt right at home from the get go. She was extremely flexible with my check in, I felt comfortable to come and go at various hours of the day/night. Her home was spotless clean! Bed was really comfortable, the room is super cute! I used the kitchen as I pleased and enjoyed my tea in the morning in the dining room😊 Easy access to the bathroom, which was gorgeous too! Will definitely be staying again when back in town. Thank you 🙏🏻

We stayed across three nights and had an amazing first time in London. Malik's kindness and helpfulness always ensured we felt at home, providing us with incredible sight-seeing recommendations (like Greenwich park), advice about how/where to travel to (using an oyster card), morning chats, allowing us to use his fridge for our food and use his kitchen, doing all washing up, and helping pick up bottled water for us from the shops. There needs to be more Airbnb hosts like Malik; polite, genuinely caring, and very well accomodating. The place was perfect, with a comfy bed and lounge. Cupboards and drawers for clothes and personal items helped keep the room organised. We came on the way to study on exchange so the desk was particularly useful also. Thank you very much to Malik. Our best Airbnb experience ever. Highly recommend.
