Holiday rentals with lake access in Leicestershire

What an absolutely beautiful house, I could have stayed forever! The house is in such a peaceful area, there was plenty of parking space and it had great public transport connections. The beds are so comfortable it is unreal. I can't recommend this lovely house enough, if it is available when we visit again next year I will surely be booking to stay here.

My friends and I had a really great time here. It was a good location with a beautiful lake nearby and only a ten minute drive from Nottingham centre. The house was gorgeous and had a lovely garden and plenty of space.

Beautiful modern clean double bedrooms, some with dressing area and en-suite bathrooms. Nice large kitchen/diner with everything you need for guest's getogether and private garden area to relax.

Great location for stoney cove diving, lovely area lota of pubs and walks. Local info shared very helpful. Clean and spacious, fully equipped. Perfect stay thank you

The cottage, situated in the centre of the lovely village of Great Bowden, was absolutely perfect for all our needs. Extremely well equipped, warm and very welcoming. A wonderful kitchen/dining area…..just right for our family. The sun shining on the glitter ball, in the garden, gave an amazing light display ~ our granddaughter was absolutely mesmerised! Many, many thanks 🤩

Great stay! Clean apartment with good amounts of space for a small family. Decorated well! Not far from Coventry centre, Coombs national park - everything within 15 mins drive. Easy to get in to with clear instructions. Great Airbnb! Recommend A+++

What's interesting about this place is it's a building of individual en suite rooms and a shared kitchen, so it's a lot more economical than an apartment on your own, and less intrusive than a bedroom in someone else's house. You can't beat the location. Walking distance to a bus stop, the canal, grocery shopping, major sights, and the train station. There's plenty of outlets in the rooms, the wifi works well, and the appliances are in pretty good shape. Each room has a mini fridge, an electric kettle, and a tv, and the main kitchen has a big shared fridge, air fryer, microwave, and stove, plus there's a washer and dryer. The shower is hot and plentiful. The front door works with a code, and each room has a key safe, which is really convenient if you have two people in the room with different schedules. The kitchen could be better stocked; I don't know how well it would work if all the rooms were full at once with everyone cooking, but it hasn't been a problem so far.

Joanna was extremely helpful and very knowledgeable. Quick responses and very clear instructions on arrival. The apartment was absolutely beautiful with amazing views across Rutland Water. Check in was very straightforward. The room was clean and pleasant, with a good sized en-suite and fridge. In a really nice area right by the castle.

Super stay in a great location. Adam was a great host and gave us all the information we needed for an easy check in. I was visiting warhammer world and it was so easy to walk out the front door, left over the bridge then turn right along the canal for a lovely 15 minute walk straight there. Will definately be staying again.

Absolutely stunning cottage! Made our wedding even more magical having such a perfect place to stay.

We had a great time in this lodge on the edge of a small lake. It was very peaceful. There are a couple of gaps on the floor and worktops of the kitchen but these were minor and didn’t affect our stay. We tried the Indian restaurant on the site and the Willow Tree cafe and they were both good. There are lots of friendly dog owners. I would recommend this lodge.

I really enjoy staying at Tolu’s accommodation, found the place clean and tidy, room smelled so nice, clean shower, parking spot great, location is very calm, will definitely come back at some point!! Highly recommend

Really enjoyed my stay here it was everything I’d hoped for and more… I had time to reconnect with nature and my family and disconnect from my phone. Jane and her family were very accommodating and friendly throughout. Felt completely relaxed throughout and right at home. Highly recommend C Brumpton butchers for cakes, pies, preserves and all round good fare. And Naturscape Wildflower Farm and Tea Rooms - handy stop for a cheerful lunch on the trip home. Will be back!

Another lovely stay in a really comfy room. Nice quiet location. Parking by the house was full but it was easy to park on the main street less than a walk up to the house. Warm comfortable bed and super fast WiFi. As always with booking a room in a house it's a gamble with who is staying in the other rooms, First time I stayed everyone was quiet at night this time one of the other guests was watching TV quite loudly at 5am. overall pleased with my stay and I'd be happy to come again.

Very good let us check in early and very responsive lake was full of carp managed to get around 9 between us in only a few hours would definitely recommend 👍👍

We had a wonderful stay at this charming cottage! It was beautifully maintained, clean and had lovely plants and flowers in the outside area with a well equipped kitchen. The interior was cozy and thoughtfully decorated, and we especially enjoyed the outdoor seating area for our evening meal and breakfast. Whilst there was some noise from the nearby road, it did not take away from our enjoyment of the place. It is located a few minutes from the Coombe Abbey Country park and Kristi our host was helpful and welcoming. We’d definitely be happy to stay again.
