Mike was an amazing host ! He was extremely accommodating from beginning to end. He let us check in early and also check out later since we had a late flight back home. He recommended AMAZING restaurants & activities for us to do. He directed us to a beautiful beach with crystal clear waters & Amazing local food spots . We really wanted to experience & explore Barbados and he was very helpful. We really felt at home & it felt as if we were staying over with family. His wife was very sweet and their home is just stunning! A plus is their Airbnb has a beautiful view & their neighbors have two beautiful horses I enjoyed drinking my morning coffee & taking in the view. Mikes place exceeded our expectations & would say you will not regret booking with him. We were on the fence of booking Airbnb or a hotel and I am so GLAD we went with mikes place. Thank you Mike and Natalie, we miss you already!

Our stay at Dora’s Cottage was absolutely delightful — peaceful, comfortable, and filled with the warm charm of Barbados. The cottage is nestled in a quiet, safe neighborhood, making it the perfect retreat to relax and recharge, while still being conveniently close to beaches, shops, and restaurants. The space was spotlessly clean and thoughtfully prepared with everything we needed, from kitchen essentials to soft linens. We especially enjoyed the outdoor area — ideal for morning coffee and unwinding after a day of exploring the island. Corey was a fantastic host — welcoming, responsive, and full of great local recommendations. His hospitality truly made the experience feel personal and memorable. If you’re looking for a serene and authentic stay in Barbados, Dora’s Cottage is a beautiful choice. Once again, I am writing a review as I came back within 3 weeks of leaving the country due to family matters and Natasha's lovely treehouse apartment was available again! She was once again super friendly and helpful, always ready to respond to any messages I sent very promptly. I even needed some lemongrass to cook a laksa soup and her Mother who lives next door soo kindly picked some from her garden to use. What lifesavers! I feel very comfortable at her place. It is very clean, spacious and private. I feel safe there and will definitely stay again in the future. Honestly such lovely and helpful hosts with a wonderful space!

Our hosts picked us up from the airport and we were immediately charmed by their warmth which made us feel like family. They even took us shopping for any necessities that we might need. Once we arrived at the home, we fell in love with the place. Not only was the décor lovely, but being a bit of a clean freak... I was very happy to find the home so incredibly clean. Amenities were perfect.. with the hosts thinking of just about everything we would need for our stay. The location was perfect for us, since we rented a car. Driving was a bit of a challenge though..at first.. lol. Beds were super comfortable.. and both room had its own washroom.. which was ideal for us. I cannot say enough of how lovely these hosts were to us. Took us back to the airport for our departure and made sure us and all our luggage were checked in safely. Stayed for 10 days and highly recommend this home and hosts. The only note is that you will need a car to get around.. but hosts have recommendations.

My girlfriend and I had an unbelievable time at Quincy and Anthony’s place! It was the most amazing and peaceful trip ever. Anthony was so friendly and so responsive to any questions we had about the area and anything else. I will most likely be staying here every time i come back to barbados. I highly recommend this stay. The nature and wildlife is so beautiful with monkeys and everything. The place has everything you need. Although there is no AC, the breeze from the wind keeps the place super cool at night and during the day so there was really no need at all. We felt as comfortable as it gets!!!

The cottage is private, not a shared space, which is great. The fire pit is a great addition to just enjoy a fire and some wine or tea. I would definitely do this again.

What a gem ….. 10 ++ ! We loved our time at Glenn & Pat’s lovely home in the country! Peaceful, comfortable and cozy with all one needs to enjoy a restful holiday. We enjoyed the visits from Goldie & Harvey ….. well mannered pups indeed and Pat generously shared her delicious baking with us as well. They have thought of just about everything in the apartment to make your stay enjoyable…..sharing great stories and their personal favs for dining out! Do note though that as the location is rural, these lovely restaurants are no more than a 15-20 drive away. Glenn & Pat provided lots of useful information about their area of the island. We couldn’t have asked for better hosts and will look forward to a return visit.

We spent 5 nights at Talking Trees and absolutely loved it! Although we had a car, we could definitely see ourselves coming back and just relaxing here completely. Angelique’s thorough handbook was very helpful. We’d just add that the Eastside Kitchen at Andromeda Gardens is amazing & we ate there twice! We found plenty of provisions at the small grocery store and fruit-veg stands. You could also stop at a Massy supermarket before coming east if you wanted to buy more than the basics. There’s one a few km from the airport. If you want to get away from the resorts and busyness of the west coast of the island, we’d highly recommend Talking Trees!
