Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Les Terres Basses

It was lovely to watch the waves and listen to the ocean everyday from our patio. Laure was so welcoming and offered ideas for places to go during our 6 week stay. She was very responsive to messages from us and genuinely want to make sure we had a wonderful visit. We were close to a variety of cafes and restaurants. The French bakery was a wonderful morning walk and Boat On Yacht Club a charming afternoon excursion. It took us a short time to get used to the to driving in Marigot but by the second week, we were comfortable with our route. I recommend getting out and about throughout the island. There is plenty to explore! Laure is a gem! We would stay here again.

This place completely exceeded our expectations — the pictures honestly don’t do it justice! It’s tucked away in a peaceful, gated community with 24/7 security, a private beach, and an incredible on-site restaurant with delicious food and top-notch service. We stayed here for 7 nights for our honeymoon, and it was perfect from the moment we arrived. The hosts welcomed us with a charcuterie board and champagne — such a thoughtful touch! The villa itself is beautifully maintained and packed with amenities: beach towels, laundry detergent, a fully stocked kitchen, and more. The pool and the view from the villa were absolutely my favorite parts — truly breathtaking. Our host was incredibly responsive and even helped me find someone to fix my phone after I dropped it in the water. That level of hospitality made all the difference. If you’re thinking of booking, don’t hesitate — this place is a gem. We would come back in a heartbeat!

Beautiful airbnb with all that you would need for a great stay. It looked exactly like the picture. Peaceful, quiet and safe neighbourhood. Everything was really close by ( restaurants and entertainments etc). Laurean gave clear and direct instructions on how to find and check in to the airbnb. Would definitely come back here and recommend this place to others.

I can’t even put into words how amazing and peaceful this place was. Everything was spotless, beautifully decorated, and so welcoming. From the moment I arrived, I felt completely at ease. The atmosphere was serene, the home was incredibly clean, and every detail added to the overall sense of comfort and relaxation. I would absolutely stay here again—highly recommend!

Casa Victoire is one of the best rentals we have ever used for vacation- the pictures do not do it justice and Maly was an amazing host! If you are thinking about staying here just go ahead and click that button and you will not be disappointed. The pool was fabulous overlooking the bay and Pinel Island. Within a few minutes drive of Grand Case and Orient Bay- both with plenty of activities and food. Maly provided so much useful information before arrival and during our stay. The layout worked great for myself and 4 adult children- plenty of space for all. If you rent a car I highly recommend Nono car rental recommended by Maly- car will be waiting on you at the house and they will pick you up at the airport so you can get right to your vacation without worrying about driving as soon as you arrive Thank you Maly- we look forward to our next trip to St Martin!

I really recommend this home for a stay in St. Martin. My driver had little trouble locating it because of the direction we took but that was resolved quickly. Very clean, comfortable, had everything I needed & more. From laundry, to dishes, to beach supplies. It's in the perfect location in Maho. I felt @ home. I'd stay here again! What ever questions or concerns I had Mario & his team responded quickly. Only con I will add is the king bed (master) is 2 twin mattresses... I kept falling between the mattresses which was annoying, along with my shower not having hot water after midnight. But the other shower was fine.

We had a lovely short stay at this tastefully decorated apartment with a very large nice terrace to rest in. Despite a power outage upon our arrival, the situation was very quickly managed by GioNads (the compensation gift was very much appreciated). The 2 small downsides are the absence of certain basic necessities upon arrival and the cleanliness of certain parts of the accommodation or accessories (mold marks in the Nespresso machine tank, cobwebs on the ceiling and stains visible on the edge of the sofa once unfolded to serve as a bed. However, our entire stay was very pleasant.

The host was very pleasant and made herself available to answer any questions. The home was beautiful, clean and had everything we needed to enjoy our trip. The view was amazing and the pics did it no justice. I will be booking again on my next trip to Saint Marteen♥️

This place was in a great location between Maho and Mullet beach. Lots of great restaurants were close as well as a grocery store. Her place had a beautiful view and included a small lunch bag cooler to use during the day which was so helpful along with beach towels. The beach towels now are a must purchase for us because we loved them. The host was so wonderful and answered any questions we had. She left us snacks and water bottles. We would definitely stay at this place again.

We loved our stay! It was an incredible location and amazing restaurants within walking distance. Beautiful sunsets and a lovely view of the bay. We could see fireworks on New Year’s Eve. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this location. A lovely spot for a getaway to ‘France’

If you’re looking for a quiet place to relax and unwind this place is for you. It’s on a beach but the waters weren’t so calm so I didn’t want to take the chance. Lola is very hospitable & was very responsive and helpful before and after arriving. The studio is just as seen in photos, very clean and has a modern cozy vibe. I’d suggest you rent a car…Lola helped with that before I arrived so I was able to pick up the car at the airport. I think this is a great option for a solo traveler as well.

Amy was very accommodating and was quick to respond. The home is close to Maho Beach, the airport, and one of the ferry docks to Anguilla. We appreciated the extra snacks and toiletries. Thank you for the amazing hospitality.

Beautiful studio (very large) with a superb kitchen. Impeccable cleanliness. In a private setting, and accessible to all. And a very nice host.

I recently booked this property for a recent trip to St Maarten to celebrate my husband's 40th birthday in May 2025. I wanted a property that felt like an intimate villa space. When I came across this listing, it was PERFECT. The deck overlooking the lagoon and the pool was a huge selling factor for me. Isa the property manager is extremely responsive, she messaged me ahead of time, obtained our flight details and provided several resources such as car rentals, restaurants, private drivers etc. The neighbourhood (Point Pirouette) is very close to the Maho main strip but you do require access to a car. It a very quiet, peaceful, residential, gated community. The unit has all amenities required, wifi works, AC in living room and bedroom, the deck was my fav place to unwind with my husband, to watch the sunrise and the sunset. There's ample natural lighting and the space is tastefully decorated. I would stay at this property again without thinking twice about it.

Cupecoy is a beautiful area to stay in on the island and the penthouse was amazing with Greta views of the Marina

I had a wonderful stay! The place was very clean and beautifully maintained, with a gorgeous balcony that made it even more special. The studio is in a great location—surrounded by shops and restaurants—and it's just a 10-minute walk to Mullet Bay Beach and about a 10-minute drive to Maho Beach. Everyone I met was very friendly and welcoming. The only challenge was finding a taxi, so I ended up arranging a private driver to pick me up and drop me off wherever I needed. Overall, a fantastic experience—I'll definitely be back!

Incredible location, clean unit and building, literally a 5min walk to mullet bay beach, 5min walk to Cupecoy beach, and two grocery stores one right next door to the building the other just a 3min walk away and two good cafes. Host was available and quick to respond to any needs, i will definitely be booking this unit again! Thank you

It was our second time staying at Jean’s place and it was even better than the last. The location is fantastic, right next to the airport and still very quiet and peaceful. Gorgeous views from the living room, shower & rooftop. Bed was extremely comfortable & the entire place was spotless. We plan on coming back & staying here again whenever we do. I had a lovely one month stay at this very well equipped apartment in Jordan Village, Cupecoy, Sint Maarten. A low key basic comfortable and spacious apartment, with all basic amenities you would need. Plus some nice complementary extras. Apartment was immaculately clean, and the pool in the apartment complex area was sooo good. Safe neighbourhood with basic shops and eateries within easy walking distance. 10-20 min walking distance to Mullet and Cupecoy beaches, and easy driving to all beaches on the island; 10 min drive to Maho Village and Princess Juliana International Airport. Very hospitable and responsive host, Vishal facilitated a comfortable first rate experience. I hope to rent from Vishal again for even longer stays in this lovely place in the future.

We had the pleasure of staying at the Emerald Pearl Studio in Maho, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience. The studio is well equipped with everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay-from a functional kitchen to a cozy bed (too soft for us) but that’s our preference. The location is unbeatable, just a short walk to the famous Maho Beach,where you can enjoy beautiful sunsets,watch planes fly overhead, or just relax by the ocean. It’s also conveniently located near some great restaurants, bars, shops and a supermarket. The host was incredibly accommodating and provided excellent communication she even left me a bottle of wine for my birthday which I thought was very nice and she even let us check in early. I recommend renting a car for the whole island experience, but taxis are only a 5 minute walk away. If you’re looking a relaxing, comfortable and stylish place to stay in Maho I recommend Emerald Pearl Studio. I will definitely be returning. 2 ppl only ;)
