Holiday rentals with a kayak in Lewis Smith Lake

Perfect place to get away and relax! The thunderstorms canceled our swimming and dock sitting but the big covered back porch and tin roof made it very enjoyable. The house was very clean and spacious. We had a total of 8 adults and everyone felt like they had plenty of space. Also, the hosts were very friendly and responsive. Would definitely stay here again.

What a fantastic place! Perfect location on the water. Easy sloping yard down to the water with NO STAIRS! The house was in perfect condition and had everything we needed. We loved the place so much we have already booked a return trip for this summer!

Susan’s home was lovely and welcoming. Easy to get to compared to a lot of homes we have stayed in at Smith Lake. It was very comfortable and had everything we needed! Loved the extras like box fans bc we love a fan and most don’t provide those. Everything you would need in a kitchen with the bonus of condiments, plastic bags, aluminum foil, etc. the things you usually don’t have. Water bonuses too like sunblock, floats and life jackets. The bathrooms were modern and beautiful. We will be back to stay, hopefully this summer!

Our stay at Pintail Point was great. The house was very spacious and clean. We enjoyed the large dock. The location of the house is great for boating and close to a marina. I would definitely recommend staying here.

This was our Second time staying there and we’re just as satisfied the second time as we were the first. Very quiet and peaceful and clean. Would definitely recommend their place for a getaway!

The place was cozy and super cute. The living room and kitchen area were beautifully done and cozy. Fav part of bedroom was the window right there at your head, you could lay awake in the morning and stare at the water. The bathroom was nice too. The outdoor living area was really nice. We spent probably 80% of our time there. Great boat dock too. We enjoyed kayaking and fishing. My husband caught a nice sized bass. The fire pit area was very nice also, we sat there and watched the sunset. The landscaping and solar lights are nicely done and gave us ideas for our own home. We chose place as a mini trip for a special occasion. Thanks for a great stay!

Private, secluded location right on Smith Lake in protected cove. Grandson caught a 2' catfish from the dock while we were there. Beautiful view of the lake from the living room. Easy, close access to the covered dock with paved stone path. Kitchen nicely stocked with essentials. Would rent from Margaux again.

We had a group of 14 and the house worked great for us. It's a little challenging getting to the house, but the instructions are clear. The place is beautiful and it's in a lesser trafficked place on the lake, so we had the waters to ourselves. The host provided a lot of fun lake things like an aquapad, canoes, and paddle boards. If you want a slow, easy lake vacation, it's a great spot.

The place is exactly as described and pictured. We had 3 couples and had plenty of space and seating. We brought food and the kitchen was fully stocked with all the cookware we needed. We had a boat and utilized the dock without issue. The place was very clean. The host was quick to respond to all questions. Wonderful stay! Would book again!

I highly recommend staying at this lake house. If you are looking for a place to relax and have all the things you need to have a wonderful time then this is the place for you. Will’s hospitality and communication was the best I’ve ever experienced with an AIRBNB stay. The pictures of the home look amazing online but when you get to the lake house it is even more beautiful.

We enjoyed our stay at the charming cottage on Smith Lake. The location was off the beaten path, and we loved the area. It was very peaceful with beautiful plants and wildlife to see on our walks around the cottage. The cottage was very clean, organized, and well-thought out. The things I especially loved were the desk facing the window, the metal side tables with glass lamps, the roll-out shelves in the kitchen, the gas stove, all of the supplies in the kitchen, the drying rack in the laundry room, the big windows facing the lake, and the screened front porch. Kristina was very responsive and helpful at all times! She was always friendly and professional. I couldn't ask for more from a host! Thank you so much! This was definitely one of my favorite airbnbs, and we will definitely be back!

We are very familiar with Smith Lake, so we knew this was a gem. Largely flat with a gentle slope to the water, it was perfect for young kiddos, including elderly. Conveniently located to local shops that had whatever we might need. Older home, but very comfortable and clean! Enjoyed the back deck and covered breeze-way along with the beautiful massive trees, we had plenty of shade to be able to have fun outside on even the hottest of July days. Strongly considering booking again. Loved every minute of our stay.

We had the best week at this lake house! It was beautiful and private. It was well stocked also! We loved how there wasn’t a huge hill with stairs to get to dock. We spent a lot of time swimming and having the lily pad and kayaks was an awesome addition! The house is spacious and the outdoor area is great. The host was very nice and willing to help with whatever was needed. We will definitely be visiting again!

If you are looking for an older lake home you can sit back and enjoy, this is your place. The dock with kayaks, paddle boards, lily pad, high jump off dock could not have been better. My family had a great time. The only downside is it has MANY steps down to the dock. BUT, the house up on the cliff makes for the million dollar veiw.

so cute! very clean and cozy. Had a good kitchen with full stove and microwave and full size refrigerator. Everything was so clean, near and tidy. front porch was great to sit and look at the water. nice repurposed pontoon deck to sit on right on the water. only thing somewhat less peaceful is the road right next to the property where people fly coming and going but you can't hear the road noise once in the cabin. still give it 10 stars for accessibility and comfort.

This was the perfect location for our group! We loved relaxing in the lake and the cabin was so cute and cozy! Nikki our host was very helpful and responsive with any questions we had. Really enjoyed this weekend get away and hopefully will return in the future!

My family spent a wonderful holiday weekend here, and it met all of our expectations. We enjoyed kayaking and being close to so many walkable hikes. We would stay here again!

We enjoyed our stay at this cabin. The scenery is beautiful. It looks even better than the pictures. The cabin is cozy, clean, and nice. The kitchen is fully stocked. We really appreciated the amount of towels and bed linens. The boat dock is awesome with a dry dock and swim pad. We so loved the back porch and views. Tom is very responsive and helpful.
