A nice place to stay. The main house is so homey. we can cook and make a coffee. Surprisingly, it was included breakfast. Widi was no nice and helpful. He also guided us to some places that were nice to visit. He also introduced the local food like Nasi Cawuk .

We had a brilliant stay at House of Hobbit, and would definitely recommend staying here to explore North Bali. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and it was easy to organise transport, snorkel trips, and anything else we needed. We were also given a great recommendation for a nearby beach club, and got the opportunity to go along to a religious ceremony, which was a brilliant experience. It is worth hiring a scooter (which you can do at the hotel for a very reasonable price) to explore the local area as the main beach and restaurants are a 15/20 minute ride away. Quick tip: When we got a lift back to southern Bali we were also given the option to stop off at interesting sites along the way for no extra cost (other than entrance fees) so had we not already been on a tour from Ubud we definitely would have done this - it would have been much more economical, time efficient and personalised. Deze homestay is een juweeltje! Wel wat lastig te vinden vanwege geen bord aan de buitenzijde... maar het is een prachtig complex met 2x3 2-persoonskamers aan weerszijden van een heerlijke, grote, goed onderhouden tuin met prachtige bomen. De kamers zijn schoon en ruim. Kastruimte en tafel en stoel handig om wat spullen kwijt te kunnen. De badkamers wel wat gedateerd. Toilet met verweerde bril, deur bleef niet gesloten en leuke buitendouche komt nauwelijks water uit. Elke kamer heeft een leuke veranda met zitje. Een heerlijk ontbijt naar keuze wordt vers bereid door de gastvrouw en geserveerd in de mooie tuin op het gewenste moment. Room delivery kan ook. Voor diner zitten er op enkele minuten lopen twee resort-restaurants langs het strand en verschillende warungs langs de doorgaande weg. Bij het complex zit ook een duikschool, die duik- en snorkeltrips verzorgt naar Menjangan Island. Een goed verzorgde trip tegen een goede prijs, met hele vriendelijke staff!!

An incredible stay in Medewi! This place was absolutely amazing – set among stunning rice fields with breathtaking views of the ocean. The accommodation was spacious, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. What really made the experience stand out were the hosts, Diana and Bob – they couldn’t have been more helpful. From arranging affordable transport to and from the property to sorting out motorbikes with surfboard racks, they made everything easy and stress-free. Couldn’t have been happier with our stay – highly recommended!

We had a very nice stay at the Barari Villas. The host Gede took very nice care of us, planning diving and taxi rides. The breakfast omelet is really good, served with toast, coffee and fruit. The location is a bit up from the main road and beach but it was very quick to get around with taxi. Great value for the area!

Very good place and beautiful view. Personal is amazing. We drink perfect tea and coffee, and we have very good vegetarian food in apartment. Bali we love you.

Rondy was very polite and he introduced himself on the first day we arrived. He would always greet us whenever we would come by and also the staff would do the same. The place itself was a paradise and couldn't have been more perfect! It was situated along the beach line where you could stroll whenever and also watch the sunset. There was a lovely pool heated by the sun! The pool was in a perfect place. We stayed throughout xmas and new year and the staff of Puri Dajuma did everything to make the day feel special. It was also my Dad's 50th bday and the staff arranged flowers on the bed as well as a cake that was delivered by Rondy and 2 other employees. We would like to say thankyou to Rondy and his team to make us feel welcome throughout our stay.

La villa était exactement ce que nous cherchons. 4 adultes. Une maison spacieuse, chaleureuse avec des petits coins privés. Un beau jardin bien entretenu et une piscine très sympa. Mais ce qui a vraiment fait de nos vacances un petit rêve c était le staff. Putu le house manager et son équipe. Très professionnel et chaleureux. Merci Putu et le reste de l équipe pour cela. Je recommande cet endroit avec son équipe a tout ceux qui aiment passer les vacances dans le calme et la beauté et aussi entourés par des endroit sympas à visiter.

This was already the third time that I stayed at Sumberkima hill and I love the style of the villa and the integration into nature🙏🏼 it’s really practical to have the restaurants and the spa around so that you don’t have to think about where to go and we used the 2 nights there to just relax, enjoy the villa and the view after 5 busy days in ubud. What a nice place to stay! I love the area, close to the National park where you can hike, Manjangan Island (snorkeling/diving). And you can also snorkel at the beach and hike in the nearby mountains. The area is green (nature) and not overcrowded (not too much tourists). On the other hand; there are enough nice restaurants, also at the beach. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Great cook (Kadek), Putu arranges everything in a fast and good way and Kenik is a great driver and a nice person to have contact with. The house is perfect. Big garden, private swimming pool, a lot of space. It is beautiful and you Will find everything you need.

La villa avec piscine chez Gatot était un rêve ! Un très bel accueil par Gatot et son personnel. Des repas très bien préparés et très goûteux. La villa très spacieuse, lumineuse et si tranquille. Pas loin de la mer , en scooter la route est facile. Beaucoup à visiter aux alentours : beaux temples , île de Menjangan... Excellent séjour chez Gatot hôte très attentif .

Had a great stay at this villa and enjoyed the location. The rooms were clean and the tv in the rooms was great on hot afternoons. For the price this place was a great deal and the staff were very friendly.

Hidden Well is a gem! The house is beautiful, spotless and very very comfy - the bathroom is a dream! Some days I didn’t even leave the house, what for? I had everything I needed. Narina, Sudana and Komang are 5 star hosts! The sweetest, most responsive hosts I ever had - they even made a whatssap group so we could all communicate. Narina’s recommendations are fantastic and she goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable, at home and have the greatest time. Everyone around the area knows of Hidden Well and speaks highly of it, so it’s such a relieve given the immense gentrification going on all around Bali. Overall, one of the best airbnb experiences and stays I’ve ever had, five stars is not enough.

This was one of our favourite places we stayed in in Bali. If you are looking to stay in a more peaceful area in the middle of nature but still want to have access to certain amenities (restaurant, spa, pool), then this is the place for you. It is also great for families.

A great place, we were really well looked after, the staff are amazing and the location and house are lovely. The pool was fantastic and we really love the gardens. However, the road to the house is not walkable to anywhere, you really need a moped hire. Very basic cooking appliances, e.g. no oven, only 2 gas ring hob. Not a problem if you use the cook available. The upstairs bedroom is very tiny and has no bathroom, it really isn't useable if you need a toilet at night. For 2 people the villa was fabulous, the second bedroom downstairs would be great for family, 3 single beds and an en-suite bathroom. There is no inside lounge, we were happy watching Netflix outside and in the bedroom but with all the space inside, a second lounging area would be good. There's a daybed upstairs but it's very hot up there and you need to sit on the floor. We had an amazing time and would definitely recommend.

a really nice place to stay with a bunch of local cuisine by the door. the host was really helpful and responsive with our accommodation as well. 10/10 would book this place again.

We had an absolutely amazing stay! The villa is incredible, so nice to be mostly outdoors. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay and we felt right at home. It was great to have a full kitchen because we stayed for two weeks so it was useful not to rely solely on restaurants for every meal/snack. I would definitely book here again over other places in the area because of having access to a kitchen. Comfy bed, yoga mats provided for post-surf stretching, hammock, mosquito nets and repellent and good aircon for nights when it was too hot to have the doors open. Location is great, right on the entry to the surf break and such a good view from the balcony. Easy access also to cross the river at low tide and walk along the long stretch of beach to the north. Kadek and all the staff were incredibly friendly, attentive and helpful. Kadek went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and at home! We will miss you!
