House holiday rentals in Lignan-de-Bordeaux

Sarah's cottage in the middle of the vineyard was a great place to stay. It is peaceful and the scenery was beautiful, while being convenient to many areas in the Bordeaux region. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. Sarah and her apprentice, Samuel, were very friendly and accommodating. The wine tasting and tour were really interesting. We would definitely stay here again.

Our stay at the venue was absolutely perfect! The location was peaceful and serene, and the amenities were spot-on. We couldn’t recommend this place more for anyone visiting Saint-Émilion. Pascal and Mathieu were incredibly kind, friendly, and easy to communicate with. The donkeys were adorable too — we think one of them should definitely be named Pedro!

Our party (5 couples) stayed at the property looking for an authentic experience of French food and wine, and hoping for a bit of rustic luxury sprinkled on top and this place did not disappoint. Everyone was blown away by the house's beautiful interiors, exteriors and amazing views. The house had everything we needed (and more). We loved the large outdoor table where we could all sit comfortably for a social breakfast and enjoy the stunning vistas. The location of the house is superb, surrounded by beautiful views and very peaceful. The bike ride to St Emillion took us along quiet country roads, meandering past many exquisite chateaus and vineyards. Finally, special mention to our wonderful host Ellie who couldn't do enough for us. Great recommendations, excellent local knowledge, extremely helpful and thoughtful, super fast to respond to any messages, and really flexible and generous.

If you are looking for a quiet place in a great environment with all the amenities extremely close and in addition in a great accommodation, look no further you have found it

Cozy large house with beautiful swimming pool and beautiful views of vineyards, forest and valley. Very quiet and yet very close to Bordeaux and other beautiful historical sites. Pascal's wine tasting was a great opportunity to immediately initiate oneself in the Bordeaux wine. Thanks to Pascal's house we had a fantastic week. a real paradise.

We stayed here for our first family holiday with our 5 month old and we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect place for it. As others have mentioned, the property and grounds are even more beautiful than the photos suggest. The property had everything we could need. It was comfortable and beautifully decorated, with high quality finishes and furnishings. It really felt like a home from home. The hosts were kind enough to provide baby equipment too so everything was very easy for the 3 of us. Portets is lovely, with a bakery, pharmacy & supermarket, which was ideal for us as we cooked all our meals at the house. We didn’t have a car but managed with just these facilities nearby, as we were very happy just spending time by the pool & in the house. We also walked to one of the vineyards for a tour which was great. We particularly enjoyed the pool and the loungers, including the cabana which offered some shade. We would recommend this property without hesitation and can’t wait to return!

Emma's place is stunning and our group had an amazing stay there! We were a group of 7 adults and 3 children and we had everything we could have wanted and needed at Emma's place. The kitchen is well-equipped and the garden is wonderful for outside dining and for the children to roam around. We really didn't want to leave! Emma was so kind to help us with our constant questions - she is the perfect host. Thank you for having us, Emma!

Perfect house! Impeccable cleanliness, more equipped than necessary, there was everything, especially in the kitchen... a joy for the gourmets that we are! Great bedding. Very good baby equipment. Very quiet environment, the view of the vineyards from the kitchen is exotic. Very responsive host, an asset. In short, we will be happy to come back if we pass through the area again.

The house is spacious, excellent bedding, the rooms are pleasant, wardrobes in each room which is appreciable for hanging clothes. Very clean bathrooms and toilets, like the whole house. Bright kitchen. We had a peaceful weekend and the house really met our expectations

Our stay here was wonderful. The house is roomy, nicely decorated and quite new. There is a very large laundry with washing machine and drying racks (no dryer), a large kitchen and meals area, two large bedrooms and a large outdoor area. The air conditioning is efficient and there is another air conditioning unit in the loft bedroom. The bedrooms have shutters to keep out the light and the beds and pillows are comfy. The TV is a smart TV and there are wineries everywhere in the area. As others have mentioned, there isn’t a toilet in the upstairs bathroom. The stairs to the upstairs bedroom are narrow and steep and this may pose a problem if you need a toilet in the middle of the night. Also, as the apartment is a little remote and has numerous windows at ground level, one may feel exposed. The windows are double glazed and the lock is strong but we closed the driveway gate to feel more secure. It was quiet and peaceful and we loved our stay.

We were a group of 6 UK based cyclists seeking a great base to explore the outstanding area and wanting the superb level of accommodation the this fabulous property offered and delivered. Excellent level of equipment, beautiful outlook, extremely peaceful, short transfer time from Bordeaux airport Guillaume is a great host, when our flight was cancelled from our original booked date he responded very quickly to our request to postpone the booking by 24 hours and then extend it by 24 hours to allow for the flight changes at both ends of our break. We had an extraordinary stay at Marie's. She was of a rare and precious kindness and kindness. We even had some explanations about the heritage history of this beautiful house, a perfect weekend. The terraces and views of the Dordogne are absolutely magnificent and the interior spaces are very beautiful and well-equipped. We 100% recommend the place and Marie's kindness contributed to the success of our event.

I can’t say enough about Marie and Gilles, the owners who live next door, who were kind and incredibly helpful during our one-month stay. They are the best! The house is beautiful and comfortable. The gardens are lovely, with trees, flowers and lawn, and beyond the property are rolling hills of vines. The kitchen is well-equipped, the wi-fi is great, and everything was perfectly clean. This is a jewel, and I highly recommend!

I stayed here with in a group of 4, and I must say we very much enjoyed our time. Jules was very responsive to all queries, and his house was perfect for our time in Bordeaux. Jules also very accommodating to our requests - he is most definitely a super host! I would recommend Jules' house to anyone looking to stay in Bordeaux for a weekend.

My husband and I recently returned from a month-long stay at Alexandre and Precillia’s home. Our stay was perfect in every sense. The home was exactly as pictured, the location unbeatable for exploring all of Bordeaux and several day trips to the Left and Right Bank as well as Arcachon, etc. The walking distance to the tram and local grocery store(s) was also a nice benefit. A bit more about the home, it was very clean, well-organized and extremely comfortable. The washing machine and basement space were also very convenient; the basement kept our wine purchases at a perfect temperature! We felt safe and secure. It must be noted I am a persnickety traveler; we would stay again. Alexandre and Precillia we great hosts, accommodating, thoughtful and always available for questions or assistance. Your stay will not be disappointing.

We had the loveliest week here. It’s a beautiful property, in a idyllic spot on the river, with a lovely pool and garden. The inside of the property was beautiful and felt brand new! We found we could walk to the train station and into the small town easily to explore the area. You will also have the friendliest hosts! Thank you for a memorable stay

We had a great stay at Domaine Branda. It was a perfect place to start our holidays for our family of 5 (3 boys), relaxing by the pool, playing tennis and walking in the surrounding area. The location was very private and peaceful, but the town was only a few minutes by car and the great city of Bordeaux only 30 minutes away. The hosts were very friendly and helpful, and all the amenities worked well.

Apartments full of charm, very well located in the heart of the old town of Libourne. Very quiet and refurbished with great taste, and attention to detail. We loved the record player with the vinyls! A frenzied game of Molki! More than kind and very available, thank you again to them for adapting to our late arrival. Highly recommended!

François and his wife are very welcoming. The cottage is very comfortable, clean and very well decorated. Located in the center of the Bastide de Créon. Parking not far from the house. I recommend it. Corinne

Beautiful, peaceful surroundings. We used the bikes to ride to the village where there were amenities, including a grocery store. Branne is close by with more restaurants, and amenities. Easy to reach wine tasting options. Hanging out by the pool is also good with amazing views and a bbq.

We had a wonderful time at Brigitte and Martin's place in the Bordeaux countryside. They are warm and friendly people who have warmly welcomed our family. The stay was perfect and formed an ideal base for our explorations in the area. We highly recommend their place for anyone looking for a quiet and cozy place to stay.
