In the largest nature reserve in Belgium, "Hoge Kempen", our cottage is located in the middle of the forest on a small & green recreation park in Lanaken. It is the ideal place for hiking or cycling. In addition to the wooded area, culture and recreation are also a stone's throw away. Within 15 minutes you are in the lively center of Maastricht and 40 minutes in Liège. In short, best of both worlds 🫶🏼

This modern vacation home has all the assets to offer you an amazing holiday: cozy, comfortable, stylish and artistically furnished, with artisanal crockery, a lovely rain shower, a beautiful private terrace in the greenery. Quiet location in close proximity to nature reserve de Maten, the cycling route network, and the Bokrijk domain. Culture sniffing, dining or shopping is available in Genk and Hasselt. The host is a ceramist and is happy to give you an explanation about her craft in her studio.

A cozy double holiday home on its own ground (not in a holiday park). The cottage is tastefully decorated with lots of vintage furniture and decoration. It features a veranda overlooking rolling horse pastures. The fenced yard is spacious and has a fire pit. The holiday home is located in Hoge Kempen National Park, with the visitor center within walking distance! The park has 450 km of hiking trails, a hikers trail of 110 km, an extensive cycling route network and 200 km of mountain bike routes.

Huize Carmiggelt is a high-quality finished holiday home of 40 m2. It's decorated in the style of the fifties, but has all the comforts of today. The kitchen and bathroom are modern and there is central heating and wifi. Huize Carmiggelt is at the edge of a quiet holiday park, directly adjacent to the forest (Hoge Kempen National Park). Maastricht is only 15 minutes away by car. Nearby are many walking and cycling possibilities. A perfect place for a Get-A-Way for two!

This charming stay offers all the comfort you need for a carefree holiday. Our cottage is located in the back of our spacious garden, where peace and privacy are paramount. The bedroom features a comfortable double bed (160x200) and an en-suite bathroom with walk-in shower and electric heating. We will provide towels, shampoo, soap.

Around the cozy open fire on the middle square there are 3 authentic mobile cabins and an outdoor kitchen, homemade from recycled material. The whole of the property is only available to rent. You can come as a couple, with your entire household or with your friends. People who love relaxation and do not avoid a challenge will certainly find their way here.

Spoorweghut 'Miners' Accommodation'

Next to Racour station is the cabin of the piochers or railway workers. In the past, railway workers used this‘ barrack ’to store their materials, to eat their sandwiches or even to stay asleep. The 3-metre by 3-metre classified building was completely rebuilt in 2015 in wooden scaffolding and masonry. It is now furnished as a comfortable tractor cabin for 2 people. There are free bikes at our guests disposal!
