We enjoyed a fantastic four days in Aris’ place, the views of the plateau and mountains are just beautiful! We felt right at home, and it was lovely to have Aris and his wife physically there at check in, a rarity these days! The images really don’t do this place justice, it is up some winding roads but we were prepared for that having visited the plateau in 2012. We can’t recommend staying here more, we really wish we’d have booked a longer stay! Aris had a fantastic hire car recommendation too, which was also great, and we had some amazing recommendations from them too. Thank you very much Aris!

We can highly recommend this accommodation. It's tucked away in a very secluded spot, which makes it wonderfully peaceful. At the same time, you can reach restaurants and a mini market in just a few minutes. A car is essential! The garden is stunning. The biodiversity is incredible. There's always something new to discover. The house is quite small and simply furnished, but that was absolutely fine. Everything was clean, and that's what matters most. The long driveway leading to the house can be a bit intimidating—it just slopes down without any railing or guard. But that’s just part of the Cretan charm. Giannis was always very friendly and helpful—thank you for everything! We also got to know the neighboring family and even visited them. Such kind people. And the animals! Aphroditi the horse, a peacock, chickens, and turkeys—our daughter loved them. Overall a great experience. We were very happy and would definitely recommend it. Who knows—maybe we’ll be back in a few years!

A real insider tip for those seeking tranquility, nature, and privacy. The accommodation is idyllically located, surrounded by many olive trees and mountains - perfect for switching off. We especially liked the beautiful pool, the well-maintained tennis court and the refreshing outdoor shower - a real highlight after a hot day in the sun. Everything was very clean and lovingly designed. Magdalena was always available and quickly answered all our questions. We felt completely comfortable and will definitely be back! A tavern, a gas station and a small bakery are within 15 minutes' walk. However, since there is no sidewalk, a car is definitely recommended! The nearest beach, Heraklion and the airport are about 15 minutes away by car.

We stayed as a family of six, four adults and two children (8 and 5). The set up was really comfortable and worked perfectly for us. The outdoor pool area is great and our two kids loved it - especially as there were lots of inflatables left to play with. We arrived at 3am. Xristos offered to meet us, but when we suggested with young children we'd prefer just to get in and get to bed, then meet up after it was no problem at all. We had instructions to call when we arrived, and the gate was opened for us. We were blown away by how well supplied the house was. Xristos was in touch in the week before to check if we needed anything in particular and couldn't have been more helpful in making sure we had everything we needed to start our holiday. Then we had a delivery of local fruit and wild artichokes as they were in season. Amazing. There was a dust storm before we arrived. Xristos promptly sorted this too. A great and relaxed place to stay, with an unbelievably good host. Thanks!

The villa is clean, well stocked, and spacious. Simos was incredibly responsive and great to communicate with. The area is lovely, with a few excellent restaurants in walking distance, wineries and olive farms really close, and Knossos Palace also a short drive away. It’s a great place to unwind and the proximity to the Heraklion airport is also a bonus if you’re flying off the island.

We stayed at Villa Elena for a week. ( Family of five / three children age 8,11 and 14. The Villa was lovely - nicer than the photos. We loved the pool - great size, a bit bigger and deeper than expected. The view was was amazing, i miss it already. Beaches, restaurants and shops in walking distance. Everyone was so friendly. George was a brilliant host - very responsive and kind He spent time giving great recommendations which was very helpful. We loved our time in crete and would definitely recommend booking here.

The place was spotless, clean, and tidy. Pamela welcomed us for our short stay in Heraklion. We were well settled there, about fifteen minutes by car from the city center and 10 minutes from the airport, which made it easier to organize the end of our stay.

Irini is a warm and attentive owner to her hosts. Through all its little touches, flexibility and good humor, you can only feel at home! The environment is soothing, the apartment matches the photos and the hot tub a real plus! We were not able to enjoy the pool because of the weather but the setting is pleasant, it is to share with Irini's family who is as friendly as she is. You will have from time to time the visit of his cat and away from the dog. I can only recommend hoping to come back one day and discover the evolution of the site🥰. Thanks for everything!

We were perfectly happy here, everything was as described, the hosts were super friendly and helpful, the house is perfectly equipped (we made heavy use of the sandwich toaster), there is more then enough room. The surroundings are perfect as well, it's quiet, and the beach is very near, there are also some nice restaurants there. Plus there is a bus to Heraklion that goes every half hour. There is really nothing to complain about, we felt immediately welcome, and had a great time.

I stayed with my wife and in-laws for three nights. The home was spacious and we enjoyed having the extra room. Thomais left us some treats in the fridge. A great home base. Note the beds are the firm side. The main living area has Air Conditioning but the upstairs bedrooms did not.

My wife and I toured the Villa in the listing, and it was absolutely gorgeous, but we stayed at the single story Villa below and our review will reflect our experience there. One thing worth noting about the listed Villa is that it is two stories, both beautifully appointed. Our single story Villa, a part of the same complex, was beautiful, peaceful, and restful. The Villa was impeccably clean, the space spacious and airy, completely modern and luxurious but without pretense. I could live there year round and count myself fortunate. The location is fifteen or twenty minutes from a number of popular beaches, yet in the countryside far from the noise, clutter, and confusion of the city. The town has everything you need and nothing you don’t. If anything could be better than the villa it’s the host, Manos. Manos is the most friendly and generous host imaginable; a gentleman and beautiful person in every sense. If I have any regrets about the villa it’s that I didn’t book it for longer.

It was all perfect!! The apartment is bigger than it looks in the pictures. Everything is very, very clean and lovingly furnished. There's nothing missing! The balconies are great, I enjoyed lying on the lounger in the sun and looking at the trees. No one can look up at the balcony by the bedroom, you really have your peace here. Just a few minutes' walk and you are already in the lively old town. Nevertheless, you have your peace and quiet here. I was able to sleep well and the bed was very comfortable. You have everything you need here and I immediately felt very comfortable. The hosts are very pleasant and warm. I love Crete and especially Malia and can also recommend this accommodation without restriction. There is also parking is available right in front of the house. Price and performance is excellent!! Everything was well organized, the communication was good and the location was perfect. Great place to stay.

A just exceptional stay, top-notch accommodation. Everything was more than perfect perfectly clean and tidy. Many washing machine facilities with detergent, dishwasher, clothesline. Fridge with snacks. A truly exceptional view. Giorgos was very responsive as soon as we needed him. Close to all restaurants, the sea. Giorgos is very accommodating. We recommend 200%. Lia was so helpful and amazing during our stay. Fast responses when asked questions, she provided us with not only comfort but made us feel like we are at home. We didn’t have a car so lia was kind enough to help us in every way possible. Lia was the best hostess we could have asked for and we are so grateful for her. Stelios is a great host. He is very friendly, easy to reach and responds quickly. He checked in several times throughout our stay to make sure we had everything we needed - very attentive :) Stelios was also flexible with the checkout. All in all, we would highly recommend Stelios as a host. We would stay again!

The place was super nicely decorated and it was everything you need and much more. Everything was very clean and quiet. Miltaos Beach is just a great place to relax and rest. You can walk nicely or lie in the sun or stop at one of the 6 tavernas (all with super delicious and cheap food). We were very satisfied and would be happy to come back.

This place is amazing! The whole place is gorgeous, the rooms are so nice! View is gorgeous and there’s a delicious restaurant just a couple minutes drive away. You definitely need a car because it’s a bit of a drive away and use coordinates on Google maps for directions.

The Rustic Nook was such a lovely, unique place to stay. It felt like you were tucked away in a quaint cottage in the shire. Beyond the physical attractiveness of the home, Amanda was always just a text away. I felt that if an emergency were to arise, she would’ve been there in a moment’s notice. When it came to the Rustic Nook, she thought of everything and had a note or explanation available. We loved our stay and if we ever get the chance to come back to Crete, we hope to be able to stay at the Rustic Nook again!

Clean and very pleasant accommodation, with the essentials available. Very convenient location to visit and discover new places.
