Trudie is a very kind and helpful host! She recommended a lot of activities around the place and even had some local food for us to try. Unfortunately we only stayed for two nights, too few to see everything around Sabie.

I loved it. 8/10. The place is located in a village. At first we were a little confused by the location but a few minutes after we settled in, none of that mattered and we started connecting with the place, the environment, and nature. The place is about 30 minutes away from Tzaneen, which is where we did most of our activities and shopping. The drive there is very serene and worth it. A Very Beautiful house, from the design to all the furniture and appliances. The house is built behind the host's main house.. It is very homie, with hosts that have great hospitality and an amazing taste in aesthetics. The bedrooms and the living room have a Beautiful green view of the mountain in the background which add to the Beauty of the place. You even get visits from different kinds of colourful birds. The stay is great for those that need a break from the city to breath and rest for a moment.

Had a wonderful stay. This place feels like home away from home. The place is clean and peaceful. My kids loved it so much, definitely coming back. The host is amazing and always at the fingertips away.

Renske's place was so comfortable and really kid friendly with the beautiful garden. Renske went out of her way to make sure that we arrived safely at the accommodation and that we had everything we needed while there. Everything was as described. Full 5 stars for each category. Tineke was very flexible with the arrival times, on arrival the instructions to enter the house were clear. Upon entering, there were two bags of dried fruit on the counter. Very nice and tasty. During problems with the wifi, we were quickly helped and someone came by for help. A very nice and tastefully decorated accommodation both inside and outside. A wonderful place to relax and to undertake activities in the surrounding areas.

Mabel is a wonderful and very humble host. She was very accommodating and response times were good. A very spacious home that has alot of potential with a large garden and braai area and full amenities. Close to a number of convenience stores and based about 3 minutes from Sabie falls and about 20 minutes to God's window. Highly recommended for visitors wanting to experience the amazing waterfalls close by.

Although we took the wrong way towards the farm, we arrived at Boschoek. The new description of the route on AirBnB is the correct one. The farm is overwhelmingly quiet. Susannah and Graham are the best hosts you can find. Proactive they give you advise. We had the opportunity to make a walk with them on the farm and they explained us everything of the life of an avocado which they grow for many many years now. They took us also to the packhouse downtown. Very interesting. We went to Heanertsburg and made a 2 hours walk around there. Very nice. On the way back one can find the blueberry farm and have a very nice cup of coffee. The house where we stayed is very nice. Perfect sleeping- and bathrooms. The veranda outside is lovely to stay during the evening. The view is spectaculair. The house you rent is close to their house but believe me, it is absolutely private! We have spent several nights at the farm and it was magnificent! An AirBnB spot as you can hardly find them!!

Waterberg Hideaway is an absolute gem. Gracious hosts, beautiful setting, friendly animals. Peace and tranquility. We thoroughly enjoyed the verandah and the amazing boma. We enjoyed walking on the property as well as the visit to the Marakele National Park. The cottage is a beautiful breakaway from the hustle and bustle of life. Sitting outside and just listening to the birds was wonderful. The stars and seeing the milky way was definitely a highlight of our trip. The kitchen is filled with everything one needs and the hot showers were very good. We loved every minute and look forward to returning to enjoy nature in this beautiful setting. The dogs and horses are all so welcoming and calming. Thank you so much.

Overall a beautiful find and worth the trip. The house is well equipped with amazing surroundings and very attentive staff. A little off the beaten track but that’s part of the charm

Great communication. Impeccably clean. Secure location. I would definitely recommend.

The check in was quite discrete; we had a personalised pin for the Yale sent on the day of check in along. Prior to our stay we’d been sent the weather forecast and got complementary wood and fire lighters; what absolute thoughtfulness! As for the area, it’s very scenic and tranquil. Their estate is also easy to find. We had an add on of a picnic, and absolutely- absolutely loved their picnic set up and food. Their kitchen is fully equipped. However, I’d recommend they add basic stuff for the kitchen like salt and pepper and maybe oil as well.

Our stay at Butterfly Cottage was exceptional. The sunsets are breathtaking making it an unforgettable romantic getaway. The cottage is homely and comfortable, with everything you need. Philip's presentation about the stars was informative, comfortable and awe-inspiring. I'm not sure what we enjoyed the most - the pool, the cottage, the tuckshop, the horses, the bushveld, the game drive or the stars. Our stay was so much more than just a weekend getaway, it was an experience of excellence. I highly recommend you do as much as you can, you won't regret it!

The house within the Elements Golf estate offer a bushveld experience with great views over some of the golf course from a distance. The accommodation exceeded our expectations. The house is large and spacious with various entertainment options and the bedrooms semi-private and removed from each other. Dumisani, the house chef/keeper, is excellent and made our stay very pleasant. The course itself is challenging with great greens and very enjoyable to play. Highly recommend this location for a relaxing outing with family or friends.

Our stay at Aloe Lodge was amazing. It was beautifully surround by the bushveld and our dogs also loved it....their first experience in the Bushveld. Jan and Perri where very friendly and helpful and checked in on us to see if all is ok on a daily basis. Even when we almost ran out of firewood, Jan made a plan and the response time was amazing. The facilities were great, neat and clean and enough blankets to keep us warm during the chilly nights. I would just suggest that you bring along your own steak knives as the kitchen does not cater for these. Grootfontein is beautiful and unique. It was a great getaway to recharge. Thanks Jan and Perri for the stay, we loved it!

My husband and I stayed here two nights following our wedding. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and felt right at home. Busi is a lovely host, very communicative and welcoming. The breakfast made for us was delicious! Very happy with our stay and 100% recommend Busi’s wonderful space for anyone wanting to get way from the norm!

Very pleasant stay. Doug went above and beyond what can be expected from a host. We woke up to a flat tire on our vehicle the morning we had to depart, Doug was more than willing to assist, he supplied us with tools, an electrical tire pump and assisted in getting the tire fixed and us back on the road. Very happy and can definitely recommend staying with this friendly host.

We enjoyed a fantastic stay at the cottage. It's comfortable, equipped with all necessities, and the presence of impalas and wildlife was truly amazing, providing a perfect opportunity to disconnect.

Our arrival was unfortunately delayed by a couple of hours due to a flat tyre, but the host was incredibly understanding and friendly. They even came out to the gate to greet us, which was so thoughtful! The property itself is fantastic, there is a huge play and braai area. We also really appreciated the very well-stocked kitchen, which even included plastic spoons and cups specifically for little ones. The entire place felt very private and peaceful, making for a truly relaxing stay.
